i have made this mistake several times.... the cars i have used that are "keyless" are generally hybrids, so they run almost silently at times. there is very little to alert the low functioning clueless dizzies (a position for which i am the #1 representative) that there is a car still running. guilty as charged.

If you are in a Thai restaurant (or in Thailand), keep in mind that Thai people generally do not use chopsticks ... they eat using the fork and spoon method... the one notable exception being for noodle dishes, particularly noodles in soup. An interesting and possibly useful factoid.

I have met the gentleman in question, and he is special, but may not be to everyone's liking. And he is aware of that and will tell you upfront if he thinks that hiring him will not be a good thing for you (or for him). He takes he works as a "healer" very seriously and his table-work in not a traditional massage but if you read his profile carefully you might find that he is appropriate for you. As for my experience, after some initial misgivings I found him to be quite worth my time. (And the HE definitely was part of my experience but in a way that, in retrospect, made more "sense" than most.) But definitely not for everyone.

I have used the service twice: once in Paris, once in Barcelona... It operates very much like AirBnB and my experiences were excellent, but nothing other than finding comfortable accommodations with friendly hosts. Having said that, I would recommend it to those of us (myself included) who prefer apartment stays to hotels.
