  1. i much prefer being insulted in public as well!
  2. Tried to do my "due diligence" on this guy but no results... anywhere. Our exchanges have been very good, but I wonder if anyone has ever actually met: https://www.adam4adam.com/profile/view/philstronghands Thanks to all!
  3. You are totally correct! His contributions should be remembered and his presence commemorated. To forget his role in the history of this forum is to fail to learn the lessons of our shared stories. #NeverForget #NeverAgain
  4. Love the spirit, the content, and the tone of your posting. It occurs to me that one of the things that makes a good teacher an excellent teacher is an investment not only in the academic achievement of their students, but also an engagement with their social and emotional learning and development. I have met excellent teachers, I have met apathetic teachers, I have met mediocre teachers. It is quite likely one of the more demanding professions and a difficult one to be truly good at. Teachers get blamed for many shortcomings and failures that exist in our society, are the targets of ridicule, are devalued, and even mocked. But, yet, we go to work every days, we spent our nights and weekends working... even our summers are really devoted (either overtly or indirectly) to our professinal development. While the idiot @BOZO T CLOWN was just a grotesque example of the mistreatment of an honorable profession by the poorly informed, when we see teachers and schools in trouble we should really be thinking about how we can make things better, rather than what/who went wrong.
  5. As a current excellent teacher in a New York City (Title I) public high school (@BOZO T CLOWN continue rotting in hell), I am intentionally keeping a distance from this conversation. I absolutely refuse to be compelled to justify myself here.
  6. And the very best teachers realize that it is not all about academics... it is also about the social and emotional development of the students they have. That is why a good teacher knows as much as possible about their students -- their home life, the family situation, the non-cognitive stressors that take place in their lives. And a good teacher makes the classroom inclusive and diversifies instruction so that every student has the same chance to achieve at the highest level.
  7. I have a client profile and pics on RM... they are all me, they are all real... i would say they are "of interest"... but i still get asked questions about things that are explained in my profile.... and despite my very specific nickname, get hit on by escorts who are interested in "just one thing"...hehe
  8. i KNOW some people are going to hate on me for this one, and even I know that I am asking for something that is not always appropriate... but get rid of the ASK ME for rates....
  9. Do you mean the Tawana Ramada on Suriwong? It has changed ownership and lost whatever personality it had (which, to me, was negligible...) I would recommend the Rose Hotel on Suriwong instead.... just slightly cheaper but much more welcoming. Tawana has a "joiners' fee" and a scary guy at the security desk by the elevators.
  10. haha.... but does it even matter?
  11. Or... contact me! Just returned from a six week stay in Thailand.
  12. Sorry but if you are expecting people to pay $2-300 an hour, sending a dick pic is jusr the cost of doing business. #nosympathy
  13. Not likely. See: https://thegrio.com/2018/08/16/aretha-franklin-unapologetic-activism-left-a-quiet-but-resounding-impact/
  14. First off, you deserve to be honored for your willingness to disclose your issues here openly on this forum. Any person, no matter their level of fitness, needs to be conscious of nutrition... from newbies to wannabees to experts, nutrition is a huge issue in health and fitness. And it's not just of matter of "lose the damn weight" or "why don't you just eat less?" We ALL know it is far more complicated, much more deeply textured than just that. I would say that you do not, at this point, need an "elite trainer" type... it would cost you too much for results you could better get from a good trainer who understands YOUR unique situation. That trainer also needs to do a close assessment of your current state, paying close attention to things that could de-rail you: i am thinking of joint issues, specifically, but since you also mention balance, that could be looked into as well. I would predict that a good trainer is going to start you out with an effective cardio program.... one which is relatively low-impact but that is also realistic for you. (There is nothing more boring than an overly long and tedious spell on a treadmill!). Also, let's be honest: do you really want to pay the big bucks to a guy just to stand there and watch you do cardio? Also, realize that muscle metabolizes calories more effectively than fat -- so s/he will also likely add some resistance training to your work-out. Nothing crazy -- but definitely something to get you up and moving, and probably struggle a little. The holy trinity: squats, deads, bench presses -- may not be right for you immediately, but there are exercises a trainer knows that will prepare your body for these kind of complex, multi-joint strength building exercises. The absolute goal for you (I would say) is to increase the ratio of muscle to fat in your body... Sorry if I go on too much. I may know someone who would be good for you, but would prefer to contact him first on your behalf. If you are interested, why not PM me. Good luck from here in Bangkok --

  16. i know a lot of people in the nyc fitness world and there are far more trainers out there than people looking for them, hehe - some more qualified than others. some work directly for a fitness center, some are freelance... what are your goals? it is important to be as specific as possible (i.e., "i want to get in shape" is not a clear goal)... that is fundamental in finding someone who can help you.
  17. I met him in New York... he was living in Brooklyn at the time. He was/is absolutely wonderful....absolutely!
  18. i think you are missing the very essence of taking possession of the power of "color" in a white supremacist society as being a tool to proclaim one's difference as a source of power, strength, and identity rather than devaluing notions of color as being "just like everyone else". persons of color can be of many shades, indeed... but a person's color is a social construct and if it can be turned on its head to be a source of power shared by people who are not-white, all power to it. assimilation is not power. whiteness is bullshit.
  19. he is real.... he may be smaller in frame than one thinks, but that makes his monster cock even look bigger. enough info....hehe?
  20. great question.... and wow i do not have an answer.... i guess if someone asked me what kind of guys i am "into" i would just say "of color" - and avoid the issue entirely. if i were a person of color, i do not think i would take too kindly to being called "exotic" - it's a whole post-colonial power issue. for example, here now in Bangkok I am a definite minority but no one categorizes me as "an exotic". make sense? kinda?
  21. it's the cultural anthropologist/marxist in me that can't resist making such statements, and i'm happy you did not take it as being adversarial - i know the spirit in which it was used but, truly "exotic" (for whatever motives) does sell - even in NYC a significant portion of the white male population that hires definitely craves that pesky social construct of exotic - i think @Mocha would do well even in this crowded market - he is reputable and serious which would definitely stand him apart from many others here!
  22. ooohhh... the "E-word".... is there an emoji for a "forever fond but gentle admonishing face"?
