What do they say, All politics are local. !

November 11th is a day observed in the Commonwealth countries including Canada to remember and honour those who have fought and died in all the wars of the 20th century. The remaining veterans show up to help celebrate the day but apart from the conflicts in the 21st century, those who are still around from WWII are few. We have one here in my town who just turned 100. He trained for the Second War but fought in Korea. I suppose Memorial Day commemorates those soldiers who participated in on the Revolution, the Spanish American War, the Civil War, the Vietnam War, etc. These are wars particular to America. I see the need to have a separate day for observation of their sacrifices.

Didn’t America also help to liberate France in both wars? And the French helped the Americans to liberate themselves from British rule. That’s what allies do.
-
I’ve never understood why America observes this day to remember veterans. Most of the Commonwealth countries observe Nov. 11 th as Remembrance Day. That was the day of the armistice which ended the Great War or WWI as we now know it.

That link is trouble. Got spammed on it.

We’ve talked about him on here a lot. He always posts travel cities with no intention of showing up. Probably to boost his social media accounts.

And Schlitz, the beer that made Milwaukee famous, is ceasing production this month. Apparently consumers realized it wasn’t really beer after all. Lol.

This is a question to which there is no satisfactory answer. When I was younger like 45 years ago, I never considered douching and only had the occasional mishap. I can only think of 2 or 3 instances when it was an issue. These last dozen years or so it has become more of a problem. My diet and regularity has not changed and my frequency of getting topped is maybe a little less. I tend to choose providers who are exceptionally endowed so that may be at the heart of the issue. I try to touch thoroughly but a few hours later in the throes of intercourse accidents do occasionally occur . Some are understanding but a few are less so. I don’t hire the latter again.

I contracted shigella 25 years ago and went to the gay clinic in Montreals Village. The doctor prescribed the wrong treatment as he thought it was something else. I had misgivings as I had read up on it before going to see him. Within a few days my symptoms were not lessening and I shortly went back and saw a different doctor. After explaining my apprehensions she reviewed my case and even before waiting for test results switched the medication to treat the shigella. It cleared up in a few days.

Don’t think bring an executioner is a job without its downsides. A report in the NYT yesterday found many suffer from mental distress following their role in executing someone. Similar in some ways to PTSD for police or soldiers who kill people in the line of duty.

Actually it is rocket science. The strides that have been made in HIV treatment and protection like PreP and PEP were unthinkable 20 or 30 years ago. Similar to rocketry, where rockets can be reused as one example, the medical field has benefited from researchers into HiV treatments. For years now we have been reading of drug resistance to various STIs but I am not aware of the supposed consequences of millions of people dying from these illnesses which killed before antibiotics made their appearance in the mid 20th century.

Is that because of the spelling? Canadian whisky is also spelled without the e.

Reminds me of a story a month or so ago about a cruise ship that ended up in St. John, New Brunswick rather than Bermuda. Weather related but were the passengers pissed!

Good question.

Manitobas HIV crisis is almost totally drug related amongst the Indigenous population. Very sad but not a gay issue out there.

Wilton Manors/FTL Masseur/Escort Recommendations

His age must be off by several years. He joined RM in 2012 which would make him 16 at the time. The photos are probably dated as well. -
We’ve had a very cool if not downright cold spring so far. Today it’s going to hit 30c. So time to get the shorts on. A nice holiday.

That’s not the definition of default.

Places that offer discreet and high-end services

If they have an Ivy League university degree, that is indeed a pricey asset. -
There are two pics where his dick looks a little red in one small spot. Other pics look normal. Maybe result of hard fucking. Also Findom has disappeared.

What would be your definition of “educated”? A university degree? A graduate degree? Someone on the same level education wise as you? Any kind of degree or someone versed in the liberal arts, who would feel comfortable in a museum, art gallery or a book shop? At a vernisage, book launch, or at the opera or symphony? Maybe someone with a second language or degree in literature? I guess I’m hinting at cultured rather than just holding a diploma in some narrow field. -
I just got back from 4 days in Toronto and had a blast with some of my favourite providers. I found Church St to be fine with only one spot a bit messy in front of the social services centre at what used to be called Cawthra Park. Not a lot of good eateries but Sambuca is about the best available. The Town Suites Inn is a great place to stay and very gay friendly. I didn’t visit the stripper bar as had too many other things going on. The city is gearing up for FIFA soon so will be hectic. Had a taste of that with road closures , Yonge and Don Valley Parkway both closed on Sunday and causing traffic snarls. Unless you’re going to the soccer games I would avoid the city in June when the games are on.

Did Florida get something right? High Speed rail service thriving
Luv2play replied to samhexum's topic in The Lounge
The problem as I see it is that in Florida cities you need a car to get around. Going from one city to another by train leaves you at the other end stranded. Here in Canada they are proposing a high speed train service that would include Montreal and Toronto. In both cities you can get around easily without a car except to the far flung suburbs. But most tourists just want to get around the downtowns which are densely constructed with most main attractions a 10 minute Uber ride away. -
I guess I found it childish. Like a child’s obsession over cookies. And the cookie monster.

Not very funny.
