That "guy on piano" was Barry Manilow, the guy who later had great commercial success as a singer-songwriter and who was one of the producers of Bette's Divine Miss M album.

Interesting. The video seemed to be a recording of two different occasions as Bette had two different hair styles, the first one being her frizzy “do” and the second her hair pulled back tight at the back. In the first she was constantly playing with her hair.
She thanked the two guys at the end of the film by name but I didn’t catch Barry. I thought it was another name. I’ll have to recheck.

  2. I watched the video of Bette in the Baths in 1971. She sang many of her songs that were to be featured in her album Friends which I think came out a year or so later. I heard it first around 1973 or 74 and still have it somewhere in my large collection of LPs.

She did have live musical accompaniment with a drummer and guy on piano. And boy did she put a lot of energy into her act. I wonder how many in the audience thought she was going to make it big with what they were hearing then in 1971 in a dingy bathhouse.

I was approached years ago by a small, but well-known publishing house in NYC.  I was asked to write a sample chapter for them to look at.

They didn't like how I blurred the more juicy details.  They clearly wanted a tell-all (or something like one).

I said I'd be more interested in writing it as fiction.  Alluding to, but not directly pointing things out.

I tried to frame it as good for them to avoid lawsuits.  They didn't budge.

That was the end of me ever wanting to write a book.

    How about a posthumous memoir?

My immediate thought about Kate was she was going in to have a hysterectomy. Same thing happened to my mother at about the same age (my mom was 41 and had had 5 children).

In mom’s case it was a planned procedure and she was in the hospital for two weeks.

The only other thing I could think of common for women is ovarian cancer. But they seem to have ruled that out.

In light of what has now been revealed, my hypothesis may be correct. Kate went in for a hysterectomy but they discovered cancer somewhere, possibly the ovaries. But they aren’t saying so we are still guessing. Same about Charles. They aren’t saying what kind of cancer he is being treated for.

Despite being highly public figures on the taxpayer dime, they are claiming their right to privacy. To that I would say if you want your privacy, you are free to retire from public life. EdwardVIII did so and so can Charles. Kate has a stronger case for privacy as she will not be called on even as Queen to perform public duties like the monarch does. Although she will be expected to be at William’s side.

If she were to be incapable of even this, then William could also abdicate of favour of Harry, whose wife would be more than willing I am certain to perform at public functions. Being an actress and all. lol

While the OP specifies that piercings are not included in the prompt, I think it’s applicable to say that the first (and only thusfar) provider I met was unexpectedly wearing earrings, and I didn’t mind but it helped me understand why some may have perceived him as effeminate.

I actually find pieced earrings hot on a provider. Since I hire masculine tops the look reminds me of the sailor imagery of yesteryear. Didn’t Popeye have an earring?

  6. No-one here has mentioned the case of Harvey Weinstein or for that matter Jeffrey Epstein but are there any similarities between those cases and the Sean Combs case?
We even had one recently involving a Canadian textile mogul, Peter Nygard, who is sitting in jail today. His case was very similar to Jeffrey Epstein, right down to the Bahamian mansion and underaged girls.
Another case pending in Montreal involving a billionaire named Robert Miller who allegedly hired underage girls and regularly paid them off. He had a whole setup of a separate mansion in Montreal just for the purpose of meeting them and accountants who would handle the money transactions. He is old and suffers dementia and Parkinson’s so is unlikely to go to jail.
But the one common thread in all these cases is the staggering amount of money these men had and the way they threw it around to satisfy their carnal urges.

  7. He’s only got one (positive) review since joining RM last April. Where has he been? Wonderful pics tho and impressive physique. The comment from the sole reviewer was “ Great” and recent.

    It sure is

I hope it doesn’t get implemented here in Canada. I’m expecting to see a provider from London next week. He doesn’t advertise on RM though.
