That’s yesterday’s news. Although things are relativeLy under control in Canada vis-a-vis the USA, today the number of new cases in Ontario, the largest province (population 14 million) rose to over 300, last seen in early June. New daily cases had dropped as low as 100 in July and August but are now spiking again with many people going back to businesses and schools reopening. Still nothing to panic about but authorities are keeping a close eye on things and newly reimposed restrictions may be around the corner if this new trend accelerates.

URGENT: CHRIS EVANS DICK PIC! - Who has it!?
Luv2play replied to MidwestCoastal's topic in The Lounge
To paraphrase another expression with the same sentiment “when a man is tired of Paris, he is tired of living” -
What is the longest musical hit played on Broadway, named after a US city?

Thanks for the update on the streetcar named Desire. I was always amused that when it turned around in New Orleans to head in the other direction, it became “Cemeteries”. Sort of reminds me of the poet Blake “all paths lead but to the grave”.
-
On a streetcar named Desire In New Orleans. I wonder if the streetcar still exists. The title has already been copyrighted though but suppose it could be entitled Sex on a Streetcar Named Desire.

After I’ve been stuffed with cock, I have no appetite for food. Just kisses and hugs.

From the 1970s until 2000 when I retired, I travelled overseas almost every month with my job. After terrorist attacks in Europe in the 1970’s and after, their airports, at least the ones bearing the brunt of international travel such as Amsterdam, London, Paris and Frankfurt, adopted much stricter measures about screening passengers. Unfortunately the US and Canada did not. I was on a flight out of Montreal on June 25/26, 1985 (I forget the exact date, it was a Saturday) when I saw chaos at the airport in Montreal with people trying to evade the controls at the gate and succeeding). They were boarding an Air India flight which had a bomb on it and killed more than 300 Indo-Canadians when it blew up near The coast of Ireland. I also flew to New York two weeks after 9/11 on a prearranged trip after Mayor Guiliani said for people not to defer their travel. Airport screening was tighter by then and I felt perfectly safe in travelling by air. Risk assessment is a very personal thing and is or should be based on facts, probabilities, and experience. Lacking any of the prerequisites leaves many people in a quandary, and as such, unable to react sensibly.

Actually I sympathize with this former escort. In many ways deep kissing is more intimate that getting fucked. Kissing actually takes more talent than spreading ones legs. LOL

I just put an offer for a nice house in the Hollywood Hills with a pool and canyon views... Lovely. Years ago a friend of mine had a house in Laurel Canyon. About half way up or so. Like being in the country almost.

When you fly into LAX at night you realize just how vast Los Angeles is by the carpet of lights that seems to stretch endlessly. Once on the ground and in a car (rented) a tourist quickly realizes that LA is made up of many diverse neighbourhoods. To many foreigners, Hollywood is synonymous with Los Angeles. But of course, it is only one neighbourhood amongst many. I haven’t been back to LA for too long but when I used to visit years ago, Hollywood was largely tacky, at least towards the east. West Hollywood (Weho) was more middle class, with lots of small scale apartments. It’s where Marilyn Monroe lived before she bought her house on Helena Dr, in Brentwood, where she died. Weho is the gay village of LA. Of course gays live everywhere in the greater area of LA. But the concentration seems most evident in Weho. How is the market for real estate in LA these days (Unicorn).

The beer says it all, eh?

I think the bars were on Hollywood Blvd in the part of LA near the Coral Sands. The one where I picked up my sweetie who later robbed me was like a Ramrod type establishment. He insisted on keeping the television on while we were making out at a loud setting and I later concluded that was so he could sneak out after I had fallen asleep. I woke up at dawn with a start as the door was open to the swimming pool and the TV was still blaring but no programming at that hour. When I saw my empty wallet on a table, which had been in my jeans when I took them off, I knew right away what had happened. I even laughed when I saw the George Washington left in the wallet I guess so I could buy a coffee. I was grateful he hadn’t stolen my credit cards as that would have been a hassle. He took about $150, which was the equivalent of the room rate for about half a week or more. I spent two weeks in LA but came back the next summer for the month of August, and broadened my area of exploration and had other great experiences.

I wouldn’t recognize the place except for the address. Have they upgraded the neighbours as well. The place looked like skid row in. 1980.

Just checked. Her name was Dorothy Stratten, and she had been a Playboy Playmate. She was murdered in August 1980, The week I was there. I had a good alibi btw. Dorothy Chandler, I see, was quite at the opposite end of the Hollywood social scene.

I responded to your other post in the Deli section. Fond memories when the motel as sleezy as get out in 1980 when I stayed there for a week. As a Canadian I remember a British Columbia woman, who was a beautiful girl, was murdered in LA about the time I was there. Real Hollywood “noir”. I seem to remember her name was Dorothy Chandler but may be mistaken.

OMG I stayed at the Coral Sands on my first visit to LA in 1980. I still have vivid memories of my stay there. An old style motel built around a swimming pool. There were sleezy bars along the main drag, that ran east west just south of the motel (forget the name, Sunset or Santa Monica?). Got robbed one night by a pickup who took my cash but left the credit cards and a one dollar bill in my wallet, after I fell asleep after some great sex. se were the days...

I saw Eartha Kitt perform in Provincetown in the 1980’s. She was great and a big hit with the summer crowd of vacationers. Of course she sang her hit tune, I Need a Man, which spoke to most of us watching, except maybe the lesbians:)

Good to know. I flatter myself on thinking that at a certain age past 70, I still am somewhat attractive since I strive to maintain myself physically and mentally. If I met Tony in the flesh, who knows what chemistry might occur.
-
I thought we were to pass judgment on their services as professionals. Making ad hominem slurs don’t fall within that ambit, IMHO. But each to his own.
-
I made my own views known about Tony but I find your comments a bit too harsh, judgmental, and lacking in empathy. We’re all here to discuss what it is we enjoy about meeting with escorts, not passing judgments on them as individuals.

There are so many worthy charities to support but one has to make decisions with one’s limited resources. These decisions are influenced by our upbringings, I believe, and certainly that is the case with me. My parents had 4 children and while relatively affluent for the time in the post war era, they still needed to make sacrifices to send us all to the best private schools and universities available in Canada. We were also indulged in pursuing artistic, cultural or athletic endeavours according to our interests. I benefited tremendously from these advantages, as did my siblings, and today I see my giving as paying it forward to help others perhaps less advantaged than I was.

I’ve knowingly crossed paths with only one celebrity in my life and that was in the early 1980’s in St.Tropez when Bridget Bardot was seated with 3 of her friends at a table near me and my friend in a tiny restaurant in the old town. We were the only 6 guests seated at that point and no-one else was allowed in to eat following her arrival. So we had the whole evening watching her, discreetly of course, from several feet away. I speak French but she spoke in such a low voice I couldn’t make out a word she said. Her tanned face was incredibly wrinkled and she wore her grey hair in a pony tail. The glamour had vanished. She was living the life of a semi-recluse in St. Tropez and was into animal rights. I can only imagine what she looks like now.

I give between 5 and 10 percent of my after tax income to mostly local charities in my small town. Mostly in the arts and cultural fields (trying to address the starving artists syndrome which is real). Exceptions being my old school and university which are in Montreal since I am a strong advocate for education. With respect to the latter I earmark my donations for students who need financial assistance to attend these excellent learning centres.

Tony was one of my favourite porn stars years ago. It was only in the last couple of years I realized I could hire him to live out a fantasy of mine. But that fantasy was so many years ago that I have decided to let it remain as a fantasy only. (sigh).
