Oh that’s too bad. I’ll never be able to remember what gems I posted during that time. Lol.

I can actually sympathize with the escort’s position here. I’m pretty open minded on peoples’s attitudes about any number of topics but there have been times when an escort has expressed opinions to me which I disagreed with but felt I had to just move on to the next topic to avoid getting into a debate. When the session is really about having a good time, anything that tends to spoil the atmosphere I try to avoid. So determining in advance that the match may not be a good one across the board, not just in relation to what positions one will assume in the physical encounter, is not a bad thing In my mind.

Maybe a condom would cut off the blood in his dick. Lol

You’ve lived a charmed life!?

I don't mind being called Daddy by an escort. But I woudn't want to be called Granddaddy. LOL

Back around 2008 or so I saw that CutlerX was in Montreal so I considered setting up a date with him. Later that same day I was on Ste Catherine Street when who should walk out of Le Stock stripper bar but CutlerX. He walked right past me and I was surprised a bit about his height. He lists 5' 10" I think in his ad but I thought he looked more like 5' 8". I'm 5'11". Of course he makes up for his vertical shortcomings by his horizontal dimensions. LOL Anyway, I gave him a pass for whatever reason.

Absolutely. Free love (and sex), needless to say.

I met a cute young guy from Minnesota in SF and we spent a week together. I still have his pictures in a photo album. We corresponded for a few years. Many years later we touched base again. I also met his gay uncle in SF that summer and we became friends as well.

I went back the next summer and the song that stuck with me was Upside Down by Diana Ross. Such memories.

It was the first time I visited San Francisco. A couple of years after the song “If you come to San Francisco”. And it was everything portrayed in the song. Scott Mackenzie?

Wasn’t that a great year!

Actually while Canada is a larger country geographically than the US, over 90 percent of our population lives with 100 miles of the US border, making it a densely populated band along the southern border of the country. Also Canada is highly urbanized and most people live in large urban centres. The highest number of cases are in the most densely populated provinces, Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia and Alberta. Our Maritime provinces are largely rural, do not have large urban centres and they have the lowest number of cases. Quebec has had the largest number of cases and deaths per capita and that is largely because the virus invaded there back in February because that is when they had their winter break, two weeks ahead of the rest of the country (vive la difference) and Quebecers brought the virus back unknowingly from the US and Europe, where many hundreds of thousands had vacationed. Even the Prime MInister's wife ,Sophie Trudeau, got sick when she visited London in February. Cases in Quebec are skyrocketing again and today the government announced a one month curfew, the strictest lockdown in Canada so far. No one will be able to leave their homes from 8pm to 5am unless its to go to an essential job like healthcare workers.

Years ago I was with an escort in NYC, who was reviewed very favourably on Hooboy, and he leaked more pre-cum than anyone I knew. It was even mentioned in his reviews, which drew me to him in the first place. I saw him several times and it was always the same, like “Old faithful” at Yellowstone Park. His escort name was Jason Markus. Long retired now.

Yeah, if you read the whole article about this French doctor in the NYT, you will find out that of the more than 1000 patients he treated with hydroxy, about 2 per cent died, a number of others were left with permanent health impacts, and the rest recovered. In other words, about the same outcome for those not treated. In a smaller study he conducted earlier, he omitted the cases where the patient died so his test results looked better. As a result he was dropped by two official bodies of the French government as a authorized scientific collaborator. It seems he had some successes early in his career years ago and then over time became full of himself. Now his studies and papers are largely ignored by the scientific and medical community.

I read somewhere that the treatment being given to some patients is actually causing the mutations to multiply. Its the treatment where blood plasma is used from previously infected patients who recovered. Not to be too alarmist since most mutations do not present more risk of dying and in fact some cause weaker symptoms. But still, something that has to be watched, which I assume scientists are doing.

Actually I don't think that is true any more. While washing your hands frequently during the day is still important and also helps avoiding other infections like the common flu, here in Canada we are being told most transmission is via breathing in the virus. Therefore it is more important to wear masks when near people in public and avoid prolonged exposure to strangers of over several minutes. Contracting the virus from touching surfaces that are infected and then touching your face is not considered to cause more than about 2 per cent of cases. And we are being told to forget all that advice about washing your groceries before handling them in food preparation.

Not great numbers in Canada but given our relative size in population to the United States, the deaths and number of cases is quite a bit less than half per capita.

Well, when I watch bi films, if there are 2 guys and one chick, then the guys are bi since they are engaging with each other too. When it’s 1 guy, which this guy says he likes, and 2 chicks, well the guy is straight and the chicks are bi. Simple.

Dream on
-
He sounds more straight than bi.

He looks nicely equipped. Cut for those who like that.

I’d like to see the Beeb take on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in the ring. Two Canadian boys slugging it out. Very similar physiques. One blond, one brunette. Pick your favourite.?

This is what struck me about the OP and his problem encountered in trying to set up a date including dining at a restaurant. Since many of us live in jurisdictions both in the US and Canada where indoor dining is prohibited, I am rather envious of those who are able to carry on in the midst of a raging pandemic as if nothing is amiss. I wonder if this is the common experience for posters on this forum, that is, business as usual in the dating game. Or are they having to modify their behaviour.

I remember when the rate went from $10 to $20; it was in the late 90s I believe. For a time it was $10; in an open arrangement and $20 with more privacy, as I remember. Then it became $20 for any lap dance song. At Campus they eased the pain by installing better and more booths with more privacy. The dancers and clients could get away with more if they wanted to but stil had to be careful as a staff member would wander back from time to time To check on things. It was around this time that Le Stock opened on Ste Catherine and Montcalm Sts. The old club had been on a side street east of Berri and was actually more fun for someone like me. I had some amazing experiences there..They had a pool table where you could chat up the dancers, like at Campus. I was back at Campus about a year and a half ago and while still fun, not as wild as 20:years ago.
