I had a condo one block east of Campus some years ago and on the longest day of the year the sun would set on the Village at 8;30 pm or so. The streets like Wolfe and Montcalm run east west so the sun set directly up the street from Ste Catherine. I have pictures of it in an album. I call them fire on Montcalm as the golden hue was amazing reflecting off the buildings. The mountain was to the west and didn’t block the sun as it settled on the western horizon. Also no high rises nearby to block it as well.

One reason I have avoided massages during the pandemic is that my impression is most masseurs do multiple massages a day. I have a cost of replacement policy on my house which is usually considerably about market value especially when the value of the land is subtracted from the building. If the house is of standard construction it would not be a problem but in my case my house is over 150 years old and built of stone entirely, not just a facing of stone, which became common in the 20th century. My walls are almost two feet thick. As a result, my cost of replacement is over twice what a stone faced house would cost. As for furnishings, I keep an inventory of major items. Most don’t have receipts but I have photographed them. My insurance agent says that would be adequate.

I think the investigation needs to be completed before drawing conclusions. The house appears to not only have the history cited above but is in a neighborhood where other adherents to this Church of Satan live. Camp had not lived in the house very long which could also be a factor. From the pictures it looks like it was a Victorian-era house. I'm glad they got out alive and not physically harmed.
