Tampa Johnson's Free VIP lounge.. On top of becoming the hottest US club dancer-wise, they're now free admission to VIP lounge. Their FB today:
It’s now free to go into the vip lounge every night!!! You only have to pay the $10 cover to use the table dance area and vips.

A couple of notes about this (because I really like the club):  The upstairs area that includes the lap dance cubicles is an entirely separate bar/lounge area too. It also has the VIP stage which includes a large 4 poster bed for the dancers on Fri. & Sat. nights. Added bonus:  women are not allowed upstairs in the VIP bar.
As far as I know, all the clubs charge a fee for their lap dance sections. It's the same at the Ft. Lauderdale club, $10 to get into the lap dance area (which is just the section of cubicles, not an entire bar area like the Tampa club). I believe it's also $10 to enter the lap dance area at Leboy in Ft. Lauderdale, and $30 to enter the lap dance area each time at Boardwalk. So in my view, Johnsons Tampa has the best value for the $10 VIP fee:  full bar, VIP stage for dancers, no women allowed, and access to lap dances.

That's Renzo, he's a semi-regular there. He's danced there a lot, but not every weekend. I haven't really noticed if there's any pattern to his weekends, but will try to look for that. You could also message the club on their facebook or instagram page. I don't know if they'd let you know when a specific dancer will be working but it's worth a shot.

The “Montreal invasion” is 3 or 4 guys who have been dancing in Fort Lauderdale this winter + 1 who will be flying in for the weekend from montreal.

I didn’t think the club in tampa would work.  But now I think it is going to become the premier club in the US.  I just wish it was fully nude.

LeBoy is more twink fem but it also will often surprise with a musclely young guy or twunk thrown in the mix. It has the best layout of inside bar/outside bar/private booths (with posted prices!!)/luxury private room. For decades it was formerly Johnny's in downtown FLL. Boardwalk  became the main strip club for a long time with all the main porn stars hanging out and an assortment of dancers. It devolved into poor-English pushy not-in-shape guys. (Johnsons FLL may be headed that way). The outside cafe at Boardwalk is great and casual.
But closed nights are the best times to arrange meetings with any of the dancers you fancy.

The Hotel Gouverneur is now the Hyatt Place Downtown.  My partner and I stayed there last July and September.  I has been totally renovated.  Will be staying there again this  year.  Here's some comments I posted at that time.
The overall décor is modern and I found it cold but not unpleasant.  The mezzanine is very nice.  Excellent free computers and printer so it was a snap to check in with the airline and print boarding passes.
The breakfast area is the same as the old Gouveneur.  Buffet breakfast is good with lots of options and free.
We had booked a king bed on a high floor.  The room was unfinished. Closet unfinished, no safe.  Requested a change of room.  Got a two queen bed on the 20th floor.  It was good.  Certainly much better than the Gouveneur when it was on its last legs.
At check in requested daily service so we could get fresh towels daily.  Service was very good.
    Design flaws:
Light in the bathroom is around the mirror and it is impossible to see to shave. If the designer is male  he should be forced to try to shave in it and if female should be forced to try to but on makeup.
The handle that turns on the shower regulates both the flow and the hot water so when you get in you need to stay out of the way until you can turn the handle to warm.  Water pressure is very good.
The safe is set so low in the closet you have to get down on you knees the access it.
Door to the closet and bathroom is a sliding door and you need to be careful that when your coming out of the bathroom you don't slide the door into you partner who is accessing the closet.

This post is way past due – Sorry.
     Hyatt Place (formerly The Gouverneur)
My husband and I have stayed here and its predecessor for many years.  The current incarnation is clean with modern somewhat cold décor. I don’t think we will be staying there again because the room design flaws got on our nerves this time. See https://www.companyofmen.org/topic/142770-hotels-montreal/?do=findComment&comment=2129974
Breakfast room very crowded and lots of children.  Only one station to get coffee which creates a line.  Food just OK.
     Homeless situation
Homelessness is a problem in many cities in the U.S, and Canada so it is no shock to see it in Montreal.  Not only in the Village but in the old town as well.
We didn’t see many homeless around the hotel.  The bank on the corner now has a guard which keeps them from sitting on the steps.  The city over the last few years has reconfigured the park across the street to make it more inviting to passersby. Fewer homeless are gathering there.  Don’t know why.  Perhaps increased police presence.
We did encounter homeless on St. Catherine Street but no one bothered us.  Still, it is a real problem. The media reported in late July that several establishments closed their “terrasses” because patrons were harassed and afraid to eat outside. The mayor held a news conference and promised more police and social services so they reopened them.

Report of attack on shop owner September 2,2023
     https://montreal.ctvnews.ca/restaurant-owner-says-she-and-her-husband-were-attacked-on-their-terrace-in-montreal-s-village-1.6546254
We did not see an increased police presence.  If anything, it seemed like fewer police then in past years.  We did not feel safe walking St. Catherine Street particularly the blocks just before Taboo and along the park next to it.
     There is no easy answer.
     The Village
The Village has not recovered from the disaster of Covid-19.  We found conditions have not improved in the year since our last visit.  Many restaurants and stores have not reopened.
Here’s an article from the Dawson College Newsletter I found touching because we used to east in Mozza a lot:
     https://www.theplantnews.com/post/the-gay-village-no-longer-gay
Something that I think would restore some of the joy would be the replacement of the overhead “18 Shades of Gay”.  Lots of tourists of all persuasions visited to take selfies.  There were plans for a replacement but I don’t know what happened.  Probably lack of funds.
     The Bars
We went to Taboo every night because we enjoy twink types.  There were 10-12 dancers Thursday-Saturday.  Sunday was absolutely dead only one dancer and maybe six patrons including us.
Dancers were OK.  Some a little heavier than ideal. One blonde from Nova Scotia (I think) was spectacular.  He danced fully nude. The trend continues that the majority of dancers DID NOT dance fully nude. All that we chose for private lap dances were great.
Stopped by Campus twice in the afternoon and there were no dancers each time and few patrons.  I wonder how it is worth their while to open in the afternoon.  Tried once at around 7 PM and there were still no dancers.  One we met outside was just arriving and said things got started around 8 PM.
     Will we be returning?
Probably, unless reports get worse.  We have been going every summer since 1989 and have so  many good memories of places, restaurants, and yes, dancers.  I hope that the Village will once again return to its vibrant self.

This is hardly a new thing. Women have loved gay clubs for years and the last few years at Secrets DC there were always a dozen or two dozen young women on any night. Strip clubs for women is an equality thing. Girls love it because they're the center of attention, especially for pussy-starved dancers. Ultimately though the dancers do not like the women customers as they do not tip hardly at all but expect to monopolize the dancer's time. Encouraging more women customers is bad for the dancers even if it sells more booze for the bar.

Just back from a  four night trip to Montreal.  Weather was mostly good with the exception of some storms on Sunday and showers today Monday.   I noticed no smoke smell during my time there.  Things were active in The Village with lots of foot traffic.
I visited both Stock and Campus.  I was at Stock Thursday and Friday nights.  Stock is looking great with all the renovations.  Stock & Soda seems to be successful...at least now during the summer.  Plenty of folks sitting on the patio part on the street.  The inside VIP room (Stock Speakeasy?) was inaugurated on Friday.   Somehow, I managed not to check it out.  Oops!  I saw the new owner, Danny, who I remember from his bartender days.  He seemed really upbeat about everything.  DJ Anthony also made an appearance on Thursday for his hosting duties of the Studio Show.    Stock currently has more employees than I have ever seen previously.   The current level of business seems to support the increased number of staff.  Although, Thursday was relatively slow.  Things didn't really get going till after 11:00pm.  Note the weekly summer fireworks have been moved from Saturdays to Thursdays.  As a result, dancers and customers don't really start showing up to Stock till after 10:00.  They had 10-12 dancers there on Thursday and some didn't turn up till after 10:00pm.  So it was fairly slim pickings before 10:00pm.  Alex the bartender was on duty at the main bar by the shower stage.  He is always good fun.  I ended up hanging out with Jasper & Eric most of the evening.  It was good fun.  The crowd was mostly gay men.  Although there were a few ladies there, they did not make for an overpowering presence.
Friday was a very different night.  It  was, of course, much busier at Stock as a weekend night.  Also, the women were present in force.  It felt like a ladies night.  In fact, when I arrived around 8:30, I was advised that there was a special bachelorette-type party going on and that it would be over by 10:00pm.  It must have started at 6 or 7 cause at 8:30 it was already well underway.  Former Stock dancer Parker was the host and he had 2-3 non-Stock dancers plus Gatuso performing for the ladies.  Several of the bachelorettes were brought up on stage and given lap-dances.  It was kind of fun to watch from afar and I assumed they would clear out at 10:00pm.  Well this pre-show did end as scheduled  and the ladies were told that if they wanted to continue on at Stock, they would need to go out and pay the Stock cover-charge and re-enter.  It seems most of them did that and the female presence just grew larger as the night progressed.   All the chairs closest to the stage were occupied by females.  Men seemed to be in the minority in the bar.  The dancer line-up consisted of many attractive guys (Jo, Jasper, Vinny, Gatuso (from Tunisia), Barack (from Costa Rica), Bran, Denzel, Miguel, and Santiago).  There were a few others there as well which I would consider duds...at least for my taste.  Former Stock dancer Tyler also made an appearance as a customer.  We had a quick chance to catch-up since I had not seen him since before COVID.  He is not currently dancing anywhere.   I had fun both nights. at Stock.
Thursday, I stopped in briefly at Campus between stays at Stock.  I seemed to be there during the transition from the day talent to the evening talent.  The daytime boys were largely forgettable in my view.  A few of the nighttime guys coming in looked interesting but I did not stay long enough to see any of them perform.  A couple of the daytime dancers were overly-aggressive which I did not appreciate.   Campus had roughly the same amount of clients on Thursday as Stock so , due to its smaller size, Campus appeared busier.  There was only a token presence of ladies at Campus on Thursday.
I returned to Campus on Saturday and what a difference.  It was packed with a whole lot more dancers.  Two very big body-builder types.  Also there were multiple muscular younger guys at Campus that seemed to be lacking at Stock.  I hung out with three dancers Saturday night and had great fun.   The bartender John was a hoot also.  He enjoyed gradually removing his clothes while working.    The former dancer red-headed Manager (I don't remember his name) was working Saturday and I had an opportunity to speak with him.  I told him I first saw him dancing way back when at West Side on Beaver Hall when they had strippers.  That's quite a few years ago now.  There were a few more women at Campus on Saturday than on Thursday but it did not feel overwhelming to me.
I did not go to the clubs on Sunday so nothing to report there.
    My conclusions overall:
    *  The Stock renovation looks wonderful and is bringing in increased business to Stock & Soda and also the main strip club.
    *  Stock still has to work on getting the guys naked on stage.  There are multiple guys (mostly the newer ones) that do not get naked.  Some don't even flash their goods.
    *  The dancer talent at Stock has improved over the last few months.  This is partially due to getting back some of the former Stock strippers that had stopped stripping or had moved to Campus.   That is all good, (and kudos to Stock management for achieving this) but Stock also needs to get some muscular younger talent .  We need to have some fresh younger faces to go along with the veterans.
    * Stock needs to get more dancers to come in earlier.  Many dancers not arriving till 10:00 or even 11:00pm  just doesn't work for me.  I like to start fairly early.  I really want to see most of the guys by 9:00pm so I can decide who to spend time with.  I would guess that most older customers 45+ (with bank in their pocket) would much prefer to have most dancers around  by 9:00pm rather than have to wait till 11:00pm to see the top guys.
    *  The Women at Stock.  Something needs to be done about this.  I know it's a difficult issue as one cannot discriminate.   But the women on Friday (after the earlier bachelorette event)  were the dominant force for the entire night.  I wanted to tip one of the dancers on the stage and found it very difficult to even get close.  I was told Saturday night was similar at Stock.
I hope to return to Montreal this summer.  I really really don't want to be spending my gay dollars in Florida if I don't have to.  I am happy with the great progress at Stock in just three months but look for further improvements on the items highlighted above.  I really want to return more regularly if possible.

When they show the floor, it's always wide angle shots for a few seconds. When they do switch the camera shot from the stage to the floor, it's usually to focus on a specific dancer or that hot beefy bartender who like to take off his shirt.  It's difficult to see what they customers look like in  wide angle shots. If you don't want to be on camera, don't sit by the stage, the first 2 rows directly in front of the stage, and  tables by both sides of the stage. If you want complete privacy, and don't want to be shown for at least a few seconds on wide angle shots, then sit at the end of the bar (where beefy bartender work) by the entrance door on side facing the wall or use the VIP room.
Also , I just want to say one more thing Stockbar, that beefy bartender is really hot. I login early just to check him out. The camera is always on him before the dancers start coming in around 930pm. He seems to really like the attention he gets, and loves to take off his shirt to show off his big muscles. He's a super hot French Canadian.

Stockbar has come rowing back! The dancers lineup is out of this world, and it will get even hotter, when management adds a couple of new young muscle studs to the lineup. Some of the dancers look absolutely stunning on stage. So many hot muscle studs on stage, it looks so beautiful. I can’t believe it, the club that I have been going to for years to check out young muscle studs is finally back post pandemic. No more quiet nights at Stockbar, it’s literally packed from Wednesday to Sunday, with Friday and Saturday being the busies days. I heard Stock & Soda is a hit with the locals, VIP room is doing well on weekends, and lots of booked events pre club opening at 830pm. Overall, it looks like things are finally back on track at Stockbar post pandemic. I’m really happy for the new management team, they have done a fantastic job bringing Stockbar back to its glory days. It’s a win-win situation for all involved. New management will actually be able to make a decent profit, hire more unemployed Canadians, and loyal customers will still be able to enjoy watching hot muscle studs on stage at Stockbar.
Oh, I can’t wait for my 4 days trip to Montreal during pride week. Hopefully, my favorite boys at Stockbar (Gatuso, Santiago,Bran, Leondro) will be at the club during pride week. Not sure what’s going with Adrian but I had to remove him from my go to boys because he’s not there consistently. I only want to chill with guys who are reliable, and actually shows up Wed-Sun consistently. By the way Santiago won me over after watching him vacuum the floor in his tight sweat pant after the bachelorette party. He was getting the club ready for opening. And just when I thought Gatuso couldn’t be hotter, I saw him brooming the stage after the bachelorette event. He looked so freaking hot. I cannot wait for that lap-dance. I”m going to go straight for his nipples. The other dancer that is really close to winning me over is Barrack. He’s a really sexy man. I can tell he’s a big teaser. He’s very seductive, and I can see him easily seduce me into going for a sexy lap-dance. I love the way he holds your hands and leads you to the private dance area. A very sexy and seductive man. My only problem with Barrack is that I don’t know if he and Gatuso are bros. It’s best to chill with guys that are comfortable hanging out with each other. The experience will be much better, plus I don’t want Gatuso to feel uncomfortable chilling with me with a guy he’s not really down with.
In the past, I have gotten lap-dance with a dancer at Stockbar, and booked a private show at the end of the dance. Only to find out the dancer doesn’t like the fact that I accepted a lap-dance with another dancer, stop speaking to me the whole night, and canceled our appointment. So I tend to stick to my main guy ( which is Gatuso- I”m a loyal customer), and maybe do a few dances with his friends. By the way, it’s the same way at Campus. I would say it’s even worse at Campus. Hopefully, I will have a really good time at Stockbar and Campus during pride week. I cannot wait for my return to Montreal post pandemic. It will be amazing to hang out for a few days with so many hot muscle studs.

I don't think you understand what is "important" to us.
Every other bar on the street has a terrace or fancy drinks. We are there for dancers and you can't get that together, I don't care if theres a VIP room when there is no one worth spending that much on.  It's funny now you are basically saying, well if you want a nice experience like before, without drunk screaming women, get ready to pay lots more money for it.

Stock"N"Soda will be the perfect space to take a short break from the showroom and go have a drink with your favorite dancer in a quieter environment., street view, and change of atmosphere.
The VIP room will be the perfect space for anyone who is looking for more privacy and intimacy.
The combination of the 3 spaces will create a diversified experience that will meet the more specific needs of the gay clientele.
