So @12is12 some answers from me. But I will first admit that my “method” is totally subjective and has worked for me. It doesn’t work for other folks - some pay more, some pay less. I have my fun and if I don’t, then I move on and look forward to finding a muscleman to worship another day.
Of the two guys that kept me busy, one knew me well from a previous visit.  He is probably the closest thing to a bodybuilder in the bars at the time (I was there the weekend before Thanksgiving this visit). We had done a few private dances on the previous visit to PV and he knew me to be a very supportive patron inside and outside of the club - even after returning to the States. So, we have history.
The second was a young dancer that was new to me, although he said he had danced in PV for three years now but only for visits (he live in CDMX) for 3-4 weeks at a time.  He was young, adorable, muscular, and liked to flex so I was smitten. I noticed and then he started pointing out, that he did not typically spend a lot of time with individual patrons but usually liked to just keep getting up on the bar to dance and then make rounds to collect tips.  But that night he kept coming back to me cause we “got along” and for some reason he enjoyed me.  I am normally pretty respectful, asking before I touch anything private but once I have a green light, I enjoy the access.
My “method” in PV is that I tip in USD and I come with plenty of $1 and $5 bills.  I typically just keep slipping dollar bills in over and over. But because i know how much I bring i know I didn’t spend more than about $75 each on the two guys over the course of that few hours. I didn’t do any privates that night because I had spent plenty in other bars and was thinking I might enjoy more on Sunday.  
I did go back the next night and repeated as much, adding a couple of other guys into the rotation since the first (bigger) guy had another patron that was enjoying his company as well. So on the second night he jut came back and forth between me and his other patron.
Unlike other patrons and even members of this board, I do not typically do anything to sexual in public in PV. I will grope a penis and play with their erections, but I do not usually suck in public. I’ll kiss but not many dancers do that in public. I will suck in the private room and I have normally negotiated that with the dancer before going down there so i know what I can and can’t do before we ever get into the room. I would suggest you do as much so you’re not wasting your time talking when the clock is running…
This last visit I stayed at Hotel Eloisa which was nice and extremely convenient. One block off the beach, on the same street and two blocks down from these bars. My only issue is they, like other hotels, are very particular about allowing guests to your room.  Which in my brain is bullshit! I have also stayed in AirBnBs and while I loved the freedom of the coming and going, i would say choose well for location and convenience. 
As for the tipping for the stage shows, i just give them $1 and tell them thanks and then go back to the man that I am worshipping at the time.  The performers typically don’t linger out of respect for the dancer that I am engaging at the time.  Some of them try to come back by and get in for more tips since they can see that i am continuously stuffing dollar bills but if I am with someone I’m enjoying, I don’t even let them catch my eye so they have no reason to believe that I am going to pause and invite them in for the playtime…

Those who have been to PV recently, would you say one of the bars is more likely to have “muscle” or even bodybuilders for the entertainment? I haven’t been in PV in a while and I bounced back and forth just looking for the good muscle!
Planning on being there between Christmas and NYE.  I’ve been going to Johnson’s FTL for the last several years for my holiday play but I thought I’d try something different this year. I’m so looking forward to having some muscle to play with in the clubs!

I’d stay at Casa Cupula. You can meet the best go go boys who work the pool parties (introduce yourself to Lalo the promoter). The hotel is away from the bars but they’ll drive you to the clubs and you can just Uber back easily. There’s no qualms about bringing guys home and it’s a nice property with kind gay employees. The owner was nice too, he gave me all kinds of helpful tips for having fun in PV! 

IMHO Johnson’s Tampa is not as good as. Campus Montreal.  I had a fantastic time at Johnson’s but it’s a different  east from Campus. They each had good muscle to play with so I’m happy either way!

Just a quick update from my visit to Premier last Friday the 9th.
Arrived around 1am, it appears now they move the show show to 12:30am and no longer late hours.  Was quiet to start but did get very busy around 2-3am. Definitely is a late hours club if you want the busy times. 
Entry was surprisingly lower than previous visits at 50 pesos.  Drinks $110 pesos for a cocktail.  They do now charge a conversion fee if you want USD singles.  $1 for every $20 they have to break.  Talking to the locals, some tip with usd singles because they don't want to tip a 100 peso bill ($3usd).  USD is still highly accepted and ATMS still offer to give you either currency.  Still now ATM onsite unfortunately.
Really hot mix of guys who were move playful than usual whipping things out when dancing on me.  Several did this when I did table dances - which are still a steal at a few bucks.  Privates - asked two different danecers $50 usd for the room (went up again from $45) but they now say its the same to go upstairs (there's a bath house above the club) and anything more than using your hands or orally speaking, should go upstairs.  Apparently it's the same price - it's confusing as in the past the bth house (Red Boutique) was included in your Premier Club admission. Not sure if that changed,  the two guys I was after wanted a lot though $250, which I think they realized they said too much. My reg dancer was there and he's still firm at $85 all goes, but he did say he wasn't feeling great and didn't want to let me down, I actually thought that was really cool of him not to take my money and deliver a crappy show.
Overall I counted 16 different guys working - muscles jocks, a few bear-ish jocks,  and the rest are college boys.  Two 19 year old twin twinks too.  All were good looking and muscular. They did do some male specific shows twice with full bone on display.  Music is now a pop mix and not just the tribal beat all night.  It is still extremely loud and I highly recommend bringing ear plugs.  Bring them even if you think you won't use them, you will change your mind. 
Still a fun time if you're in the San Diego area.  Arrived at 1am left at 5am.  Hope to go back later this month for mens only night

I was in Dallas for a quick visit on Saturday, October 25.  It was Tin Room’s Halloween night and so the bar was full. I got there kinda early for me around 10:30. Immediately saw some nice muscle around so I knew it as going to be a good night!

To spare the details of the hunt, I’ll just report that I had a great time in the back with Mauricio, Maximo, David, Benjamin, and Randy.  Many of them for multiple-song spins in the back.  I would say that there were others that I would have spent time with but with so little time, I chose to focus on the ones I liked the muscles and the looks of the most.  Maximo and Mauricio were my favorites and if I were staying in town for the night, I would have tried to invite either one of them back for some more play…

The good thing is knowing Dallas still has at least one club that satisfies my penchant for muscle go-go dancers! But ohhh how I miss the good old days of having multiple options in different parts of the city!

You can read in other PV threads, I now bring plenty of $1 and $5. I used to bring large bills and change everything to pesos but I asked a number of the guys and they universally said something to the effect of money is money.  Personally, this past trip I chose to keep it in USD as $1 is less than ₽20 so it was just easier.  Some guys, if you end up doing more than just tipping, accept elctronic forms of payment so they end up going through a conversion rate there anyway. 
I would say, just enjoy yourself and make sure the dancers are making money for their evening of entertaining you!

As a newbie, I just noted there r 3 dfrnt threads on PV. Having done my due diligence reading thru all of them, I have some questions:
1 - r the guys endowed brazil or DR size?
2 - beyond the set rates for private dances, there's a lot of tipping for the shows or for sitting, but scarce mention of sums. How much is a tip for a guy doing his rounds after a pole or a shower ? 
3 - msclwrspr sat 2.5 hours with two hunks together or alternating. How much do I tip for such LT personal attention? How much for 10 minutes sucking?
4 - any recommended hotels in the vicinity?

Towels are worn by some at Wet Dreams, because the boys just got out of the shower show.  The rest wear underwear, but will lower it often.
At 69, the boys are in their underwear and lower it often.

So you say that at 69 the dancers are fully nude.  But I recall that at 69 only the dancers that are doing the show up on the stage end up getting nude.  And they walk around with the towel getting tips.  As far as the other guys that are mingling around, I've always noticed they definitely have clothes or shorts on. Has it changed now that all the guys walking around are nude? I would not complain.

My rule of thumb is to pay a dancer about 1/2 his private dance rate to stay with me in public and grope/kiss/massage/caress/suck.
In the US where prices are typically $20-$25/song (3-5 minutes) for a private dance, I'll give the dancer $10/song to play with me publicly.  At 69, where the dancers are fully nude in public, I gave 200-500 pesos ($11-28 US) every 5-10 minutes.  In hindsight, I probably gave too much; because, it was impossible to get rid of a guy after I've had fun with him and was ready to move on to a new guy.  If I had paid less, perhaps they would have moved on.

I went back to 69 on Wednesday night, after visiting the shower shows again at Wet Dreams next door.  I like the slower Wednesday night compared to Saturday.  There was room to sit, and a dancer paid good attention to me for several hours.  Lots of hot men at 69, and they were a little less pushy than the men at Wet Dreams.
I avoided the private rooms tonight.  But I had plenty of non-private fun on the couch with a dancer on my arm/lap.

Just got back from PV yesterday and everyone is going to disagree with me but I prefer Wet Dreams out of all three clubs, Yes, the dancers are aggressive and they're all working together (dancers, bartenders, hosts) to take every single peso from you but the dancers there are hotter than BMine and 69. I even went out with two dancers and you can hire them for cheaper out of the club. One of the dancers even went out to lunch with me and drove me back to my Airbnb. I loved PV and will definitely be going back but not for the strippers. I prefer Premier in TJ over all three, IMO it has all of the best attributes of all 3 PV clubs without any of the negatives. 

I think I am of the mindset of a few guys here like Myophile that “bodybuilder” is a pretty wide spectrum, especially these days considering the number of “fitness influencers” who count themselves bodybuilders. I’ve met a number of guys who call themselves bodybuilders and I would disagree. But as long as we’re talking about $$$, it doesn’t matter what they call themselves, it matters what I call them.
I tend to go for the bigger, harder, types that are rare but exist out in cyberspace to be found and worshipped. These guys below all would work for getting my rocks off…

Finally here in PV for the weekend. I haven’t been to PV in 8 years so this is all “new” for me.
Friday and Saturday night were a blast. certainly have my opinions but they are definitely biased towards what I prefer. I’ll hold off until I get back to the US to post a full account but I will definitely be thorough!
Friday Night was a quick tour through the three bars: BMine, 69, and Wet Dreams. We passed through BMine and left within 5 minutes.  I had the most fun at 69 and could have spent the whole night there. We finished the night at Wet and I enjoyed the dancers but we were tired for the first night. 
Saturday we got a late start because of some other shenanigans earlier in the afternoon (more on that later). We only went to 69 for about an hour and a half and it was an incredible time! It was exactly what I had hoped I would experience in PV and the boys didn’t disappoint!

I did a little more research before going down this time. Looked up some guys on RM and RentMasseur to see if any of them danced.  I got some really nice replies and was able to get some of the pleasantries and logistics out of the way through our conversations before my arrival.
Because of my “research,” I started out at BMine first. I knew that I had at least one sure fire muscle man who would satisfy my cravings at 69. So I decided to do my first play time at BMine. As others have already said, the shower thing is nice; the bar is small; there are shows. I don’t find that the guys are aggressive at all (unlike Wet, which is why I didn’t patronize that bar at all this visit). I knew there was at least one dancer that I was interested in that was going to be at BMine. So I was able to get n and scope quickly. There were a couple of others that would keep my interest if the one I contacted earlier was a bust. But to my delight, the one I contacted was big enough and knew how to play with me enough that he kept my interest. I also engaged one of the hosts (kind of like waiters) who had huge arms. So in the hour that is as there, I had plenty of play with those two men who kept my hands, mouth, and groin plenty busy. the dancer’s name is Alex and the host’s name is Osler. Both of them are worthy of worship!!
Now, my downfall - and I completely own my weakness - is that at BMine I can throw down a credit card and then don’t care what I spend because it’s not cash leaving my pocket. I know the game - for every drink that I buy the dancer, he gets a cut. So it’s a particular way of tipping. And these two men, in the span of an hour, got plenty of tips. I don’t drink a lot so I only had two drinks. But, in the end, they kind of ruined their own game. Because with the amount of money I spent in an hour on their drinks, they each could’ve gotten a private dance with a hefty tip from me and the house would’ve gotten less money and they would have gotten significantly more.  So after an hour, I closed my tab and said thanks. The two men wanted more and were begging me to stay and not go to 69 but I had spent what I had planned to spend and I was done!
Now, my time at 69 was, as I expected, also full of men worthy of worship. On Saturday, I focused on two: Duber who I write significantly about in my post about my December trip and a new young man by the name of Sebastian (his bar name, not real). Duber was my ace. I knew he would be dancing and I have done multiple privates with him so I knew i would have plenty of muscle to worship. Duber is the biggest guy dancing in any of the bars that I have been to in PV.  There are other guys with muscles like a bodybuilder like Duber’s but they are shorter. There are taller dancers, but not with muscles as big and defined as Duber’s. To say the least, Duber keeps my fantasies running all night!
But my surprise on Saturday night (and for the rest of the weekend) was this young man Sebastian.  Very nice muscles - full bellies but not a bodybuilder. He isn’t as tall as Duber but he was young and coquettish and just knew how to play with me. He ended up spending the rest of the evening dancing in front of me or on my lap and taking all my tips - unless I wasn’t double-handed with him and Duber. He was just the right amount of tease and give - constantly flexing since he knew I liked his muscles.  He would periodically ask if he could go dance and leave me for a few minutes so I could worship Duber alone. But the beauty of the two of them is that in the 2.5 hours that I was there, I may have been left completely alone for maybe 6 or 7 minutes - one of them was always there to let me play with their muscles!
Sunday was just a repeat at 69 with Sebastian and Duber. The only difference being Duber had other clients so he didn’t spend the whole night with me. He soent about the first hour and then Sebastian had me to himself. But after a while he invited this other young muscle buck - Leon - to join us.  Leon was taller and also realized that his work was to flex and then I kept putting bills in his shorts or in his hands.  Never even tempted to go to BMine (or Wet or Anthropology) since I had all the muscle play I wanted at 69.
I know this wasn’t PV’s busy season so I doubt I could pull that kind of attention from two or three dancers. But it sure did make for a fun 48 hours of muscle in the bars and enjoy the attentions of some young muscle who are just tying to make a living! Because of them, PV is really my most-desired place to go play. FTL will always be fun but one can not compare the apples and oranges of PV and FTL when it comes to muscle worship in the bars!

Just to clear some things up @Wickedsexy the bar is willing to run a tab, even without your credit card being given at first. At least that has been my experience every time I’ve been there. They kept track and I paid before I left.
Yes, I do slip them tips to sit by me or on my lap. That has been the only experience of tipping in BMine as I have never done a private there. But I tip off enough that the dancers really don’t seem to need to leave.
As for tipping after the Stage show at 69.… I understand your point, but I figure giving them a bill after their show is good karma. I give them a quick tip and they move on. And I get to enjoy the Dancer of my choice while I’m sitting there whether I’m watching the show or not.
I have not been to anthropology in years. And quite honestly, for a bar to keep me around they have to be a few really nicely built men. Otherwise, I just don’t tip a lot and then it’s not fun. I think that’s why I enjoy 69 the most. Both of the other bars are smaller and so have fewer dancers. My experience has been that I can always find a few guys that are worth my attention at 69.

Ok – don’t really know how to preface this, but here goes.
I have been to the Tin Room several times now and always enjoyed myself, until Saturday night.  I was there for about 2 hours, and could not take it anymore. There was a strange vibe to the place.  I really don’t even know how to explain it. It seemed like I was in some kind of seedy warehouse where drug deals were going on all around me. I know things like this go on – but it seemed more brazen that I’ve sensed before.  My focus is on the cute guys dancing and maybe a little touchy / feely – and giving some nice tips to the dancers.  That was not last Saturday night.   Am I making any sense? 
Maybe it was just me – not sure.  I’ll go back tonight to see if I get the same vibe as before. 

I get it @Mark_fl My best friend cringes at the idea of strippers or even dancers in a bar. He doens’t like the PDA at all.  Meanwhile, his partner is like me - play on!!! 
To each his own…There’s enough fun in the toy box for each of us.  I don’t poopoo your preferences. I don’t poopoo my best friend’s preferences. All I ask is that we all make room for each other in our lovely gay world!!!

I should have updated myself!!

I was in Dallas for a quick visit on Saturday, October 25.  It was Tin Room’s Halloween night and so the bar was full. I got there kinda early for me around 10:30. Immediately saw some nice muscle around so I knew it as going to be a good night!

To spare the details of the hunt, I’ll just report that I had a great time in the back with Mauricio, Maximo, David, Benjamin, and Randy.  Many of them for multiple-song spins in the back.  I would say that there were others that I would have spent time with but with so little time, I chose to focus on the ones I liked the muscles and the looks of the most.  Maximo and Mauricio were my favorites and if I were staying in town for the night, I would have tried to invite either one of them back for some more play…

The good thing is knowing Dallas still has at least one club that satisfies my penchant for muscle go-go dancers! But ohhh how I miss the good old days of having multiple options in different parts of the city!
