So I appreciate the responses about the great interactions others have had and I do not deny your experience. I'm glad that was your experience. What I am telling you about is my experience. 200-something exchanges on text over two days, with 4-5 promises of letting me know that day when he could meet with me (and me telling him it's cool, I'm flexible, don't sweat it) and then, with no time offered and after an inquiry about how he was doing a week or so before he was arriving in my area, nothing. And when I checked in after his time here to say "hey, did you actually arrive?" a quick but fairly rote response like "well of course I was there, why didn't you think I was". Well, OK. I was respectful, not rude, was complimented by him on how nice I seemed, was told I was added to his contacts. I'm not sure what happened or why it happened but it happened. I think it's important to share the experiences that we've had, truthfully, for others to decide how they want to move forward with providers. You may not want to hear about my experience or may not believe my experience, but it was my experience. The only way it makes sense to me is that I was interacting with a bot. If I wasn't, then that's not too great either.
