As an NYC resident, police are not focused on this. It is not a priority for cops, and in fact, the Mamdani administration has inclinations towards decriminalizing sex work. Offices like the Manhattan and Brooklyn District Attorneys have largely stopped prosecuting consensual sex work entirely.
I would still not be too public about one’s exploits, nor would I begin to lack discretion, but NYC is not a hotbed of police forces spending time and money pursuing men looking to see other male providers for sex.
