  1. Good news with this study. However TRT still does come with other risks. Testosterone is considered a super-food for prostate cancer. If there is a history of prostate cancer in your family, be very wary.
  2. I agree with other posters that Priority No 1 is improving the quality of the dancers and that priority No 2 is getting them naked on stage. Having said that, let's give the club some time to work thru the issues. They are clearly investing a lot of money into the club and they want it to be successful. Let's give them a chance to make the changes and see where things are at in a few months time.
  3. To answer the thread title, it seems not. Report after report shows inflation is moderating and near-full employment continues to hold. People in the US continue to spend money like it's going out of style. One Wall Street analyst says we're "slipping into an expansion". It seems all the nay-sayers that have been predicting a recession for the last two years may have been wrong (are you listening Elon Musk and Jamie Dimon?). 4. I used Uber multiple times during my visit last week. I never waited more than 4 minutes for a car to arrive...so Uber works well there.
  5. He's gone where the goblins go below, below, below, yo hoLet's open up and sing, and ring the bells outDing-dong! the merry-o sing it high, sing it lowLet them know the wicked bitch is dead
  6. Meanwhile, you can find plenty of stories online of LGBT people who are pulling up roots and leaving Florida to live elsewhere. I assume minorities are doing the same since the NAACP issued its travel warning for Florida. Obviously this is easier for some to do than others. I understand that. I’m sticking with my plan to cancel Florida. Voting with one’s pocketbook is one of the few ways we have to effect change beyond actually voting. anyway, enough of politics. I found the Johnson’s talent to be good for those planning to go there😁.
  7. I was back in FTL this week and went to Johnson's on Tuesday and Thursday. Of course it's low season now so Tuesday was very slow. Very few customers. Maybe a dozen dancers. Only the front bar was open. There was no waiter working so the front bartender had to come out to the main room to take drink orders and then go back to the main bar to make the drink. Thursday was much busier with more customers and maybe 20 dancers. As on my last visit, lots of Argentine dancers. One of them seemed to be a true body builder. Another one was also really ripped and exceedingly handsome. Model material really. There were multiple Italians dancing too. One seemed particularly long in the tooth. His dancing days should really be over. Overall, I had fun. I have to be honest, this may be my last Florida visit for quite a while. It really bothers me to spend money in a state that adopts so many anti-minority and anti-LGBT measures. I'm gonna try and be strong and cancel Florida until things change there. I just hope Montreal can improve its dancer scene to re-capture at least some of it's former glory.
  8. Do tell. Who are talking about? No harm revealing here who the banned members are there. Public shame is always a good toll to use on rule-breakers.
  9. Agreement in principle reached. https://www.cnn.com/2023/05/27/politics/debt-limit-negotiations-latest/index.html
  10. Huge LOL. You must have been looking in the mirror when you wrote this😂.
  11. You should know. That's your standard MO here.
  12. So sad to hear that Tina has passed. I regret never seeing her live. She was "Simply The Best".
  13. I’m not sure any bars even have gogo boys anymore. JR’s certainly used to…but who knows today. Tony’s Corner Pocket used to have dancers although the quality of the talent wasn’t really very good. Again, I don’t know what’s going on there today.
  14. It’s really true cuz I read about it in High School dammit!!! ROTFL😂😂😂.
  15. You simply don’t know that to be the case. You may believe it to be true but making a blanket definitive statement like the above doesn’t fly. Look… we agree there is a real homeless/mental health problem in the US that is unsustainable as it is. Developing a long-term fix that improves things for all concerned is the challenge. In my view, one of government’s roles is to provide support for those most vulnerable in our society. That includes the very young, the elderly, and the infirmed (mental & physical). We need to do a much better job supporting the mentally infirmed.
  16. I agree with most of your post, but I do question the part I bolded. I'm not sure how well the mentally ill were cared for when asylums were still in existence throughout the US. There are plenty of nightmare stories from those days. It's a very complicated issue (what to do with the mentally ill). I don't have a solution...but I do know that allowing the mentally ill to just roam the streets unsupervised is not the answer.
  17. The Stock Bar website indicates that the next live show will be Friday April 28th. It's being labeled the "Grand Reveal". I guess they are doing some remodeling and are closed today and tomorrow (Wednesday & Thursday). Here's hoping for great things to come!
  18. No. I got the 2nd dose exactly when I was supposed to(scheduled on my initial visit) My infant vaccine records were not clear on whether I had the smallpox vaccine or not so I did the entire Monkeypox regimen.
  19. There is very little traffic now in the politics forum on the other site. It was quite busy for the first couple of weeks after the politics forum closed here. That didn't last long as it is down to a trickle of activity currently.
  20. Let's get back on topic regarding the request for thoughts that RadioRob made. This is important and it is our chance to give input on this sensitive topic.
  21. Ain't that the truth. I have lived in Colombia, Chile, and Brazil. They are just as obsessed with politics as the US. Same with many European countries.
  22. You asked for thoughts and I appreciate that. Here goes: I think it's unrealistic to expect a voluntarily gentlemanly discussion on any issue that involves politics (even if just on the fringes of politics) in the absence of effective moderation. Nothing about this is at all unique to this site. It's to be expected anywhere a political issue is discussed amongst a diverse group of participants. Waiting for eons till a thread spirals completely out of control and then shutting it down does not constitute effective moderation. Hands need to be slapped in a timely manner. Time-outs need to be issued when rules are broken. Period. Finally (and most importantly), the forum members need to see first hand that bad actors do indeed face consequences. A poster who is currently on a "time-out" needs to be visible to other posters so everyone can connect the dots. Time-out posters used to be visible to all posters but, somewhere along the line during Daddy's tenure, it was decided that the "time-out" indicator under an individual's "handle" on all his/her posts would be removed. So no-one knows who is on time out versus just not posting for a while. I don't know why this was done but I never understood it. The posting community needs to know who is on time-out. I feel the above gives some constructive thoughts on the question asked. I would expect that if these rules were introduced and enforced, moderation of any potential politics threads would become easier in short order. Thanks again for requesting our input on this touchy topic.
  23. Whilst I miss the politics forum, I don’t miss the right wing extremists on this site having a platform to push their hate and lies. I have always believed that the only way a politics forum can survive on this site long term is for it to be much more actively moderated/managed than it was. If that isn’t possible, then the politics forum is better off dead.
  24. He has been a Montreal dancer for a very long time...off and on. I used to see him dancing at Stock 5-10 years ago. I don't believe he is 32 though...probably closer to 40. Also his name has changed many times. He was tall, handsome, and very well-endowed at the time but I have not seen him since pre-COVID...so I have no idea how he is looking now. In the day, he was very open to activity during lapdances. Who knows if that is still the case now.
