On a flight from DTW to FLL a few weeks ago, there were some sort of federal agents/inspectors at the Delta departure gate. We all had to show boarding passes and photo ID to both the Delta agent and the Federal agents prior to proceeding to the jet bridge. Nothing on their uniforms indicated they were ICE. Anyway…somewhat unusual for a domestic flight.

Seems like the smart strategy for Schukraft would be to wait for Pride Holdings to go under (if that’s what eventually is going to happen) and then proceed. time will tell.

No it isn’t. He’s making light of a situation whilst some people employed by the businesses have lost jobs or aren’t getting paid. Some may not be able to collect unemployment as seemingly PHG didn’t submit payroll collections to the government entity. There’s nothing funny or to be made fun of this situation.

Thanks Atlanta Guy for the input. This serves as a needed balance to the prior comments by our resident clown making light of a very serious situation within the LGBT community. I have been hearing of issues at Johnson’s Wilton Manors for 3-4 months. Staff complaining of delayed paychecks. Upon hearing of the litany of problems months ago, I advised one of the longtime bartenders that he should hurry-up and explore other employment opportunities. He (and many other) Johnsons Wilton Manors employees have since left. Contrary to what the clown suggested, I advise everyone to stay as far away as possible from investing in Pride Holdings Group. It has a very dicey track record and its future financial viability seems very much in question. Legal action against the group seems to be a real possibility.

If it’s just for a quick romp in the hay, I wouldn’t care about the profession really. If it’s going to be more of a romantic relationship type thing then I would have to have respect for the profession and his general beliefs. For instance, I couldn’t be in a relationship with someone that has diametrically opposing (insert topic we can’t discuss here) beliefs to mine. That’s just a recipe for failure.

Lucas doesn’t go to Johnson’s each night. Sometimes he is only there 1-2 nights per week. Very hit and miss with him. I was at Johnson’s for two nights last weekend and never saw Lucas.

More than a hundred minutes of football played in yesterday’s final before there was a single goal. What a snoozefest. Americans often complain that soccer is a dull game with too many faked injuries and not enough scoring. I have watched exciting soccer games in the past but yesterday’s final was not one of them.

These threads always reaffirm that beauty truly is in the eyes of the beholder. I won’t name names, but a few of the guys mentioned above would get a big yawn from me. They in no way fit into the category of “classically handsome” men.

Women crave emotional intimacy and that is easier to find with other women than with men. Also, lesbian sex just seems really boring. I have not listened to it yet, but Madonna's new album is getting very good reviews from multiple music publications. They're saying it is her best album in decades. They say she is returning to her roots.

In the late 80’s/early 90’s, there were a series of murders of known gay activists in Mexico City. I want to say 5-6 guys were murdered. It was widely believed at the time that the police were involved in the killings and they were targeting gay activists. I knew one of the guys and had actually been to his apartment for a hook-up after meeting him at the gay bar El Taller in the Zona Rosa. Months after I met him, he was found in that same apartment tied to a chair and shot to death. Really sad. I don’t know if any of those murders were ever solved. Is history repeating itself?

One other observation I failed to mention above is that multiple former employees are now gone including bartenders Ray and Rueben. All the waiters I saw were new to me as well. Is everyone jumping ship?

Yes Lucas is very handsome and so nice. Yes there were several other Argentines there also…including the one with tattoos. He is one of the guys that is getting older…but still attractive.

I was at Johnson's for three nights last weekend. A few quick observations: * The music is played entirely too loud now. * Too many fem twink types dancing there now. Maybe that's all they can find to dance now. * Lot's of chatter that Johnson's won't be around much longer. Accurate? Who knows? * None of the 10-12 newer guys were attractive or masculine IMHO. * Some of the long-term dancers are still good looking but it's a small group. * Marlon Brando look-alike (Lucas) is getting bigger and says he will do body-building competition in 2027.

I feel like the male strip club is a dying business concept. COVID didn't help things but the decline had already started before the pandemic. The internet opened up the on-line escort advertising concept. That hurt the stripping business to a certain degree. Then the advent of sites like OF came around and hurt the stripping business even more by syphoning off some of the hottest new talent. The quality of guys dancing at strip clubs has been in a slow decline for more than 10 years. I was just in FTL over the weekend and spent three nights going to Johnson's. None of the newer guys were even remotely interesting even though one of the nights there were over 40 guys dancing. There were more fem twinks dancing at Johnson's than I had ever seen before. Yes some of the attractive longer-term dancers are still there but some of them are pushing the envelope age-wise. If the male strip clubs cannot attract young attractive talent, they are destined to eventually fail IMHO. I'm not interested in going to a male strip club if there aren't hunky masculine muscle guys there. Why would I spend money to go to a club to watch average looking fem guys dancing on-stage? I wonder if female strip club are suffering as well?
