Two points: 1. These are not arena shows they are in stadiums. 2. She indeed added multiple shows after the original tour announcement. Beyoncé adds five more shows to 'Cowboy Carter' tour: See the dates, locations WWW.USATODAY.COM She coming! Beyoncé added five more stadium shows to her Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour due to high demand from fans.

AFAIK, Beyoncé’s upcoming tour is a stadium tour. Most stadiums hold 40,000 to 80,000 seats for a concert. Having a few shows where3-5k seats have gone unsold isn’t the end of the world. Maybe there’s a little Beyoncé fatigue at this point. Or maybe the post Covid concert boom is over. Or maybe everyone blew their wad on the Swift’s Eras Tour and Beyoncé ticket sales are suffering as a result. Maybe the slowdown of the global economy is taking hold and people are cutting back. Pick the explanation of your choice. If the numbers we read are true, I see the tour forging ahead with few problems. If, on the other hand, ticket sales are worse than they are currently revealing, ok there might be a problem. I’m not a huge fan so I won’t be going to any of the shows.

Bear market! Recession has it begun.

Well the market is back down this morning. Despite yesterday’s pause, so much economic damage has already been done. Make no mistake, the recession is still coming. Heck, it may have already started. -

The US blinked on reciprocal tariffs by delaying them for 90 days except for China. DOW is back over 40,000. Anyone else smell market manipulation here? -
Bear market! Recession has it begun.

Delta Airlines will report Q1 results and it's full-year outlook tomorrow Wednesday April 9th. It will be the first US airline announcing Q1 results. It should give important insight into whether future demand for domestic and international travel is starting to soften in light of falling US consumer confidence and concerns raised by foreigners relative to potential travel to the US. My expectation is that the Q1 results will be pretty decent but that the full year outlook will be quite bearish. I expect that future international travel bookings could be quite soft...particularly for foreigners booking flights to the US. Let's see. -

Everyone knows one can make money during a market collapse if you have disposable cash. Duh! The thread topic is more about whether a recession is starting, how deep will it be, and for how long will it go on for. -
Bear market! Recession has it begun.

It’s comical how there is complete silence from our posters who wailed for four years that a recession was coming (it never happened). Now that the stock market is in free-fall mode, unemployment is rising, consumer confidence is collapsing, and we are almost surely entering a recession…it’s crickets from the peanut gallery. Anyone surprised about that? Separately, what are poster’s views on if the administration might get spooked with the reaction to recent actions and possibly reverse course on the tariffs? -

Also, the US unemployment rate rose slightly in March to 4.2% from 4.1%. A minor increase to be sure, but let’s see how the trend line moves in the coming months. I predict a hockey stick graph as the deep recession takes root. -

All so predictable. Let’s see how long the stock market rout lasts. Corporate layoffs have already commenced today also. Stellantis (Chrysler/Ram/Jeep) announced today that 900 US employees will be laid off. -
Tesla (TSLA) do you want it in your portfolio?

Further news revealing how poor Tesla's sales have been so far in 2025. Keep in mind that the anti-Musk momentum didn't really gain traction till sometime in February so I would anticipate QTR2 sales to be worse than QTR1. Unsurprisingly, sales in Europe have been devastated. Deportation Nation---How does this affect the hobby?

The judiciary causing chaos? On a related note, during my most recent trip to Fort Lauderdale I went to my favorite strip club on multiple nights. Several of the dancers voiced a general concern over the increased enforcement action related to immigration. They also mentioned that several dancers were not dancing much in order to keep a low profile for a while. I assume that likely means doing escorting or other activities away from the bar. Whilst my comment is not related directly to escorting per se, it is kind of escorting-adjacent. Anyway, I thought it was interesting because the dancers raised the topic not me. Taken to the extreme: Imagine if all the illegal escorts/dancers are returned to their home countries, most US-based folks are going to have to travel to Canada/Mexico or elsewhere to get our fix. The few remaining legal people still in the biz in the US will have such high prices, very few people will be able to afford them. It's the law of supply & demand you see. -

One day of trading data is meaningless unless one is looking at very short-term gains. Tesla stock has already given back some of that gain. A long-term investor will be very wary of acquiring new Tesla shares. Someone who invested years ago is kicking themselves for not selling at the end of 2024. Yes a day-trader will buy for short-term opportunities but that is it. I see no long-term upside for Tesla. Too many bridges burned and the leader’s eye is off the ball. -

Major fallout in Europe has already started. According to Reuters, February vehicle sales numbers are out for the continent. Things are not looking pretty for Tesla. Below is a quote from the article: Tesla's battery-electric vehicle (BEV) registrations in 25 European Union markets, the UK, Norway and Switzerland fell on average by 44% from the same month of 2024, to under 16,000 cars sold in February. Its market share in the month fell to 9.6%, the lowest February reading in the last five years. -

EZEtoGRU replied to marylander1940's topic in Personal Finance & Investing
I don’t see Tesla stock being a good buy. This could be a problematic brand for some time to come…if it survives at all. Penetration in foreign markets is going to decrease rather than increase for the foreseeable future. In my trips to Toronto/Montreal last year, many of the Ubers I took were Tesla vehicles. That is sure to decline now. I’m sure the same will happen in most other international markets. At least 50% of potential US buyers won’t touch Tesla even if they were interested in purchasing an electric vehicle. In summary, the future does not look bright for Tesla. -

Phoenix Area: what's there other than Dick's Cabaret?
EZEtoGRU replied to captainbuddy's topic in Male Strip Clubs
I’m just coming out of Cruisin’ 7th bar in Phoenix where they have Wild Men of the West guys dancing in the bar starting at 4:30pm sharp. There were 5 guys… 4 x latinos and 1 x white guy. All between the approx ages of 25-35. All in either a jockstrap or something similar. The place was too packed for me. One of the guys was quite hot. I’m not sure if they have a private dance area there but I would have considered having a lap dance with him. I could only spend an hour there before leaving. I’m seeing Jessica Kirson in town tonight so it was a short visit at Cruisin’. Anyway, I would recommend Cruisin’7th on a Saturday afternoon to see the eye candy gogos. Does anyone know if they have a private dance area there? -
I was at Johnson’s Wilton Manors last week on three different nights. There was definitely one guy on stage that was using a dildo-like thing in his shorts. I was told by other dancers that there are 2-3 guys that do the “dildo” trick. I’m told some customers that go into the back room with these guys never realize it. However, other customers come out feeling duped when they realize it was fake. Why does Johnson’s even allow this? I just stay clear of the “fakes”. I had a great time all three nights. No huge muscle (I was there only on weeknights) but good nonetheless. One notable guy was a 24yr old new Argentine dancer. Muscular with dirty blonde hair and fair skin. I forget his name…but he was so handsome…in a masculine way. The other dancers kept referring to him as “Ken” cause he was so strikingly handsome. He spoke very little English but that was no problem as I speak Spanish.

Clients who almost exclusively seek straight providers.
EZEtoGRU replied to studchaser's topic in Questions About Hiring
This topic of some gay men seeking straight male escorts comes up from time to time here. It always ends the same way with a group of flag-waving gays insisting that the guys who partake in this hobby must be self-loathing sad homosexuals to be hunting down straight guys for hire. The mindset that if you are gay you must be attracted to gay guys or something is wrong with you. Folks are way too over-analytical and stay-in-your-lane-ish. I'm attracted to authentic masculinity...I always have been. That frequently (but not exclusively) leads me down the path to being attracted to straight guys. I have no choice in the matter as this is how I'm wired. I have zero interest in fem gay men no matter how handsome they may be. And no, I am not saying all gay men are fem. Currently, I find the best setting for finding what I like is in male strip clubs. There is no way to judge masculinity when looking through escort options on Rentmen so that vehicle really doesn't work for me. The stripclub format provides the ability to see the product and kick the tires so to speak. I'll know within one minute if the guy meets my masculinity threshold. The other setting that works well are the rentboy saunas in Brazil and elsewhere. Same concept because you're seeing the prospect up close and personal. No amount of flipping through profiles on Rentmen can match an in-person conversation with a potential hire. So....no....I don't hate myself and no....I don't hate being gay (on the contrary, I can't imagine not being gay). It is what it is. Kinda like some people like chocolate and some people like vanilla. Live and let live people. -
