  1. I feel it's important to get tested before a trip and abstain from sex between the test and the trip. In the same vein, I feel responsible for taking a COVID test before sexual encounters and am even more serious about isolating and abstaining between those results and the occasion. Risking exposure to STI's and COVID is not worth the sex or contribution it provides - especially in comparison to a trip. Besides, I'm getting laid on the trip so what is the rush? My COVID results are ready typically within 12 hours, and in order to feel safe before a trip I pay for Talent Testing Services to have my results in under 24 hours - or a free clinic with fast results, if available. Which, BTW, aren't very available right now. It is not easy to get tested right now, and results are often taking longer than usual.

I've barely worked this year, but I took a trip that made me uncomfortable because the other participants didn't follow the same guidelines. They'd been tested, but it turned out some had sexual encounters and ignored COVID guidelines between the test and the trip - as well as during the trip. One thought because he'd had COVID he had nothing to worry. I find this selfish and negligent. They thought they were being careful enough, and I felt like I was putting myself and the at risk.

In the end, I had not been clear or adamant enough about how important these guidelines are to me. So when I expressed concern, it was already too late. In the future I will be more clear and diligent in maintaining and advocating for these standards.

With each post you continue to wow me. Your thinking and approach makes you all the sexier.

About the clinics, in Massachusetts we're experiencing a tsunami of people seeking tests leading up to the holidays. We have drive up clinics with 9 lanes that have had to halt operations from time to time because traffic spilled out of the lot, down the street, around a corner and into another intersection causing concerns about potential automobile accidents. There is some concern that the onrush is because people think once they test negative they can have large indoor gatherings, something local health officials are trying to dispel.

  2. On NPR, they interviewed someone in charge of setting up distribution of the vaccines in Arkansas. The devil/god is in the details. The Pfizer vaccine requires storage in subzero conditions that will require either new refrigerators/freezers or a steady supply of dry ice. The vaccine has to be thawed for several hours, then diluted with saline. Once diluted, it can only be used during the following 5 hours. Each vial has 5 or six doses. Any of those doses not consumed within 5-6 hours will have to be discarded.

The Moderna vaccine doesn't need the same subzero conditions but can be refrigerated. It requires less thaw time, too. It's therefore a better candidate for transporting to remote locations that may not be equipped to store the vaccines for any length of time. There's some issue with the number of doses per vial and when they must be deployed or discarded.

The two vaccines aren't interchangeable and both require a second shot/dose, but on a different timetable. If someone receives a first Pfizer dose, s/he has to get the second Pfizer dose and not the Moderna dose.

There are still a lot of questions about the data as we've only got press release summaries. The Pfizer study (and perhaps Moderna, too) are timed to the occurrence of an event -- contracting corona. Part of the reason the vaccines reached the stage for application to distribute is the prevalence of corona in the country. Had the incidence of the virus been lower, the event would have taken longer to materialize in sufficient volume to reach trial conclusions.

Among the details I'd like to know are what protocols were in place w/r/t mitigation strategies. If, for example, the group getting the vaccine wore masks, isolated themselves, etc., and the placebo group did not it would make the data less impressive. That is, the effectiveness rate is based on 1 case of corona among the group receiving the vaccine for every 9 cases among the group receiving the placebo. I'm assuming that the only variable is whether you got the placebo or the vaccine, but that information hasn't been communicated yet.

Both vaccines are genetic -- RNA based. I don't know enough about the recipes to have a sense of whether there are resource limitations and timing lags or whether rapid, ramped up production is possible.

  3. I contacted the number and he was extremely rude. Just replied "what is your budget". He is going to lose alot of clients with that attitude.

Probably not. He's shooting for a small segment of clients who are willing to spend a large premium. I'd bet most of those clients aren't turned off by the budget question. In other words, the clients he's "losing" aren't likely to be his target audience and aren't likely to hire him. I'm in that group, not so much because of his tone or his likely price tag, but because I doubt he'd provide the experience that I want.

  4. I have done my best to respect the diverse opinions regarding COVID-19 over these past few months, however the ER nurse that posted this brilliantly sums up my train of thought :

Please just take politics out of it and read this with an open mind using common sense.

"Anyone out there who can tell me what our end game is with the covid 19?

What is the magic formula that is going to allow us to sound the all clear?

    Is it zero cases?

The only way that will happen is if we just stop testing and stop reporting.

    Is it a vaccine?

It took 25 years for a chicken pox vaccine to be developed.

The smallpox inoculation was discovered in 1796 the last known natural case was in 1977.

We have a flu vaccine that is only 40 to 60% effective and less than half of the US population choose to get one, and roughly 20,000 Americans will die of the flu or flu complications.

Oh, you'll mandate it, like other vaccines are mandated in order to attend school, travel to some foreign countries, etc.

We already have a growing number of anti vaxxers refusing proven, tested, well known vaccines that have been administered for decades but aren’t necessarily safe!

Do you really think people will flock to get a fast tracked, quickly tested vaccine, whose long term side effects and overall efficacy are anyone's best guess?

How long are we going to cancel and postpone and reconsider?

You aren't doing in person school until second quarter?

What if October's numbers are the same as August's?

    You moved football to spring?

What if next March is worse than this one was?

When do we decide quality of life outweighs the risks?

I understand Covid can be deadly or very dangerous for SOME people, but so are strawberries and so is shellfish.

We take risks multiple times a day without a second thought.

We know driving a car can be dangerous, we don't leave it in the garage. Many speed and don't wear seat belts.

We know the dangers of smoking, drinking and eating fried foods, we do it anyway.

Is hugging Grandma really more dangerous than rush hour on the freeway?

Is going out with friends after work more risky than 4 day old gas station sushi?

    Or operating a chainsaw?

When and how did we so quickly lose our free will and give up our liberty?

Is there a waiver somewhere I can sign that says, "I understand the risks, but I choose a life with Hugs and Smiles, and the State Fair and go to Church and go hug my Mom in her retirement home?

I understand that there is a minuscule possibility I could die, but I will most likely end up feeling like crap for a few days.

I understand I could possibly pass it to someone else, if I'm not careful, but I can pass any virus onto someone else.

I'm struggling to see where or how this ends.

We either get busy living or we get busy dying.

When God decides it's your time, you don't get any mulligans, so I guess I would rather spend my time enjoying it and living in the moment and not worrying about what ifs and maybes, and I bet I'm not the only one.

Reading this it strikes me how little some people are willing to sacrifice in the midst of a health crisis. It's been less than a year since the virus hit the U.S. and for months and months there have been complaints, protests, etc, over such impositions and disruptions as wearing a mask in public, standing 6 feet apart, working from home, etc. There are people who have suffered to be sure, but much of that has been offset by government stimulus spending. Now that the stimulus money has run dry, there will be real financial harm unless the Government acts to mitigate it. But what is the alternative? Pretend there's not a novel, highly infectious and deadly virus and ignore the best medical advice available?

I suppose you can find Jewish holocaust deniers, too, but it's disheartening to read a medical professional downplaying the dangers and overstating the sacrifices entailed in mitigating the disease. S/he should know better.

  5. Luv2play, that is exactly what I do, leave the cash out so they can see it. This was 2 escorts. He stole his own money and the other escort's and was never heard from again.

This continues to be confusing. How did he "steal his own money"? He took it and promptly left? Did the other escort not show?

  6. Having someone steal more than $ 1000 in cash from you does not equate to disappointment. You might all do well to ask questions before heading to snark town. Everyone who has asked questions privately has gotten the details they requested. I am not allowed to post reviews on here. I stand by what I said. I'm a long time reviewer on DR and a long time poster on here. If you choose not to heed my warning, it's on you. Not me.

That's the sort of detail that makes a big difference. No one's asking for a "review", just for the basis for the statement he "robbed" you. I take it the $1000 was not part of the rate you agreed to pay, but was extra cash you had on hand?

  7. No. I wouldn't have given him 2 stars even. He was not that attractive and robbed me. That would have been the lowest possible score, not a 2.

How did he "rob" you? Details would be helpful and you should provide them if you're going to level the accusation.

  8. You sound like the voice of reason. But will there be a receptive audience. The NYT showed a map of the US today showing where masks are mandatory and it almost replicates which states elected Biden. The states in the middle of the country and the south have no requirements, all states that elected Trump (when I say elected I mean whose electors will vote for Trump in December).

That is part of the challenge. But it strikes me as important to engage those people and try to get them to think of what they are being asked to do/not do as a contribution to a great cause, rather than as an exercise in government attempting to control all aspects of their lives. Not everyone will be persuaded, but some will and every bit helps.

  9. 130,000 cases daily is so yesterday, literally. Today it’s 163,402. 200,000 early next week? 1 million daily by January?

At this point this is in the realm of possibility.

And not so good here in Canada as well. Cases spiking everywhere.

I can see severe shutdowns in our immediate future.

We have big challenges. I hope that in the U.S., our new President will pose the crisis as a challenge akin to fighting World War II, requiring sacrifice and unity. Wearing masks, keeping gatherings limited and spaced, etc., are small sacrifices. We also need to address the economic hardships, particularly for those living at the margins economically and those whose livelihood depends on activities we need to curtail (domestic and service workers, those who work at and run restaurants, bars, gyms, barbershops/salons, etc.). And if in the U.S. we are going to leave the states to do much of the heavy lifting, we need to make sure they have the resources to do so at a time when much of their economies are slowed and revenues are scarce.

  10. You’ve misconstrued my explanation. I offered him the bonus on the phone before he came, realizing that it was late and was asking him to cum in our session. Had he said that he couldn’t guarantee it, I would not have asked him to see me.

When it transpired he couldn’t climax, the session ended because of his need to go home. So I gave him his regular hourly fee, which was only fair as he had fucked me. The only negative aspect of my review was the 4 stars, instead of 5.

If you had a meal at a restaurant, and it was fine but not exactly what you ordered, you might want to indicate that something was lacking in your review of that restaurant.

I don't think I misconstrued anything. But you wrote what you wrote and readers are free to reach their own conclusions.

  11. Maybe I didn’t explain that well. I was in another city staying at a hotel. I had arranged a date with an escort but he left me totally unsatisfied. So I called up another at a very late hour and he answered and said he could come over in less than an hour. I said it was very important that he could cum in what was only going to be a one hour session, since he said he had to leave that morning for NYC.

He said, no problem. But as it turned out, it was a big problem. After the hour was up, without him cumming, he said he had to leave. I paid him his regular fee, not the bonus I had said I would pay if he was able to cum. So that was the reduction, not from his usual rate for an hour but his rate plus an extra hundred.

I didn’t give him a bad review. In the comments I complimented him on his looks. And I did recommend him. But I only gave him 4 stars and all his previous reviews were 5 stars. So that is the whole story. He wanted to keep his 5 stars across the board. For me it wasn’t a big deal so I agreed to ask the webmaster to remove the review.

You are splitting a hair re: reduced rate, and made this more confusing. You made a last minute appointment, wanted something specific, recognized there was a decent chance that wouldn't/couldn't happen, and set a price with and without the specific. You paid what you agreed to pay for what you did get. We all have our own ways of evaluating experiences. Had that been mine, given the last minute hiring, I probably would not have given a 4 star review. Had I felt conflicted about giving a 5 star review, I just wouldn't have submitted a review.

  12. Just made the brown-not-tomato-y one last night. Not “gravy” but thinner with veal stock and prime brisket trimmings from a full packer brisket that got smoked. Trimming were not smoked, saved for stew.

Now that sounds amazing. I've never made a stew with brisket. I've done the corned beef route, the traditional roasted brisket route, and for stews I make beef stew or veal stew. Some smooth red wine and some demiglace help with the flavor, but so do the veggies.

  13. Interesting... so what really are the differentials for states designated as a commonwealth? Ty

Nothing. The four Commonwealths function exactly as any state. It's just a name. Kentucky, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Virginia are named as Commonwealths.

  14. Very funny! Brings back memories of being in my twenties, shopping for a suit at Marshall Field's and the salesman thinking it was for my high school graduation. He was very embarrassed when he learned I was on my lunch hour from the bank where I worked as a commercial loan officer. (you'd have thought me walking in wearing a suit, tie, dress shoes, and trench coat might have tipped him off). Let's hope they continue to look younger than their age as they grow older.

I routinely got carded into my 30s. Then, not so much. My grandparents and parents lived long lives and never looked their age.

  15. It seems odd to have two names for the same entity, but its probably to conform with the wording of the State or Commonwealth laws. I'm assuming PA assigns certain functions to the counties, so Philadelphia has to remain a county to exercise those functions without having to revise the statutes.

  16. From a provider seeking business it’s odd to ignore a prospective client...Wouldn’t you think?

Odd, yes. Although you have to assume some of the guys who advertise aren't as committed to this as a full-time job. Also, sometimes lack of response means the escort is busy. It could also be that he's not interested in meeting. Ideally, the escort would have an approach that either communicates lack of availability for a period of time, or triggers a response (even a form/canned response) to say that. But I'd agree that a lack of response is odd if he's seeking business.

Some guys advertise to keep their names out there so people will subscribe to their OF. Others are exploring what the level of interest might be. Unless you've got good/reliable feedback from other clients, or an escort has an established reputation, it can be hit or miss. I've never understood why some clients feel mistreated by lack of response. If the escort doesn't respond, I move on. What irks me is when they commit to meeting, reaffirm, then just fail to show up and don't bother to tell you they're not coming. That's only happened to me twice, but I was peeved. But I got over it since no money was exchanged. It inconvenienced me, but not mostly it just failed to meet what I expected.

My quibble with your prior post was the phrase "shit behavior". Lack of response is odd, perhaps, inconsiderate, perhaps reflects lack of seriousness or organization. But I'd use "shit behavior" to describe stealing, threatening, etc. I guess I might include ghosting after committing to a time/location, especially if I had to travel and spend money for a hotel, etc. But I haven't really invested anything other than a quick contact if he simply ignores me.

Maybe it's just the phrasing, and we're really not disagreeing about the conduct itself. A lack of response without a subsequent contact and explanation is enough of a reason to move on for me.

  17. If I noted any of that on my profile your speculation might have merit. Instead of making excuses for his shit behavior, you could commiserate with me.

"Shit behavior"? I'm confused. He DIDN'T respond, correct? Shit behavior doesn't describe disinterest or lack of communication, it describes something abusive. Perhaps the scort has an attitude. We're inferring that. You're showing with quite direct statements that you have one.

Makes me wonder. For all the speculation about escorts called out for fake ads reading the forums and either disappearing or changing names, do escorts read the forums to screen clients? Wouldn't be difficult to do. We all have our own styles of writing/communicating.

  18. Back up your statement with facts.

Perhaps you mean illustrate his opinion with examples and details. The two critical posters have mentioned a "vibe", reaction, and a conclusion but no one other than them knows what they're talking about.

  19. Probably @former lurker knows.

I don't. I'm not sure any of us knows what happened with the account on RM. I just know what I've read here. I also know what my own experience with him was like. I've gotten texts from him but haven't reconnected. I'm skittish about meeting anyone as we head into flu season.

  20. I love how there is always a "Newbie" (instead of a veteran Forum Member), popping out of the blue to speak wonders about a highly questionable provider. Specially this one, who has just disappeared and has now apparently reappeared with new looks. ?

I'm not a newbie. I've met ILVH and he is as he says. Handsome, educated, well-built and very good at all forms of bodywork. He is pricey, especially if you're looking for a one or so hour session, but I found it worth my time and money to spend more time with him.

  21. Dude I clearly state on here I’m looking to satisfy a small niche.

What’s ridiculous is your need to leave that comment lol

Good for you. So long as you are clear about that which you're comfortable no one should complain. They can decide whether to see you or not. It's a simple thing called respect.
