shadowcatzxxx got a reaction from Penn7 in Has anyone seen this Cuban Dream?
If you think he is stunning from his photos, you won't believe how astonishingly much more attractive he is in person. He was a ballet dancer in Cuba, is an skilled sculptor, smart, personable, and a totally all-around sweetheart. Again, if I lived in Miami, I could get in serious debt trying to cajole this fellow into being my sugar baby. (Although he is no baby.)

This is no time to be traveling out of the States. Many of us have received the vaccination, but that is far from what's happening in other countries, especially in many of the major cities in South America. I want to travel again to Brazil but cannot....

If you can cancel without incurring a penalty and can rebook for a later time, that is what I would do if I were in your shoes.

[My mother celebrated her 100th birthday last year (May); I missed it due to the pandemic. Since travel is permissible in the States, I decided to be there this year since I've received my vaccination, and she, along with my sister and brother-in-law who reside with her, have gotten theirs as well. I feel comfortable in making this journey.

Because I did not want to board a plane where the middle seat is now being booked for passengers, I decided to fly first class for this very special trip during these tenuous times. Currently, I feel optimistic and will definitely continue to wear my mask, keep my distance, and practice the other necessary protocols.]

People who are fully vaccinated are most certainly traveling now. And there can be issues unrelated to whether they themselves get COVID. Two friends of mine took off for their favorite vacation spot in Africa a few weeks ago ... and after being there for most of their allotted time, discovered that the entire country was being placed on lockdown. (And still is.) Happily, they are content (and able) to stay where they are for the time being ... and not everyone has that kind of easy flexibility. The COVID situation in Columbia and Ecuador is not good right now. Quito, for example, has nightrly curfew, beginning @ 8pm.

Why does talk of money always bring out the worst in people?

If you don't like the product, move on. Don't disparage the guy. He's just casting his net and seeing what happens.

As I've said before, when posters here make it personal, it says more about them than it does about the escort.

Cooper, thank you for your ongoing efforts to check on Daddy's status and to keep us apprised. The dialysis news is concerning, but not surprising. My father required dialysis the last few years of his life and I learned that the kidneys and lungs are the two organs that do most of the cleansing of toxins so if one is compromised, the other often falters from strain. At least dialysis, though debilitating, is an effective means of cleansing toxins. Ultimately, though, the lungs need to do their part. I also know, as my mom was diabetic, that diabetes can compromise the kidneys. So Daddy has at least two factors contributing to kidney failure.

Most concerning to me is his enduring lack of responsiveness. It does sound, though, that he is getting every opportunity to rebound. That leaves room for hope.

Based on my experience with my father, I know that sedatives can depress the function of one's organs, so ceasing the sedation is a means to give Daddy a better/purer chance of having his body do the most it's capable of doing.

While depressing, this news at least, for me, suggests his doctors are not writing him off and are doing all sorts of sensible things to give him the best chance of pulling through.

Again, thank you for all you have done.

The reason the CDC was wrong so many times was because of political influence from the previous guy's administration interfering with the professionals there. No different than every other agency of he attempted to destroy.

These 4 Matthew Bourne ballets are being streamed through City Center. You can get all 4 for $50 or buy individually for $15. You can watch them more than once which is nice. I've seen Swan Lake live a few times and have always enjoyed it. I'd never seen the others so I was happy to subscribe. I just watched The Car Man and its really sexy and great fun.

What is it that folks often say here? YMMV?
I've travelled extensively around the Middle East - Egypt, Iran, Afghanistan, etc. (showing my age here; my trip to Afghanistan wasn't with the military). So I kinda know local mindsets, laws, and such.
Several years ago, a friend of mine was living and working in Dubai. I was planning a trip to the far east. It was almost exactly halfway around the world from where I live on the east coast, so I had the choice of heading west - across the US and then Pacific - or east - across the Atlantic, Europe, and the middle east. So I explored the possibility of flying Emirates and visiting my friend there. Not quite. As it happens, I have an Israeli visitor's stamp on my passport. I discovered (thankfully, before I booked flights) that because of that stamp, they would not have let me out of the airport in Dubai, and might, in fact, have sent me home, rather than onwards towards my destination. This was half a dozen years ago, and policies have probably changed with recent efforts at detente. But given internet surveillance and such, I would be very concerned about running afoul of some over-zealous local police while trying to set up a hire there. Caveat emptor.
Now, flying there with "company", or flying someone like Benjamin Nicholas there to join me (be still my heart) would be an entirely different, and much safer way to go. I wouldn't see anything the least bit dangerous about that ... presuming that we didn't do anything in public that might scare the local horses. (camels?)

Very much so. And given the harshness of punishments for even minor infractions there, I am frankly surprised that any travellers (i.e. people who don't know the ins and outs of local protocol and policing) dare to either sell or purchase companionship there. Don't get me wrong ... I LOVE Singapore ... it is one of my favorite places on earth. I just wouldn't feel comfortable hiring there. Taking a companion I already new, or flying one in, Sure. But otherwise ...

That's an electric, on-demand hot water heater fixture. IN the U.S. (and mos of the E.U. I'd suspect) the electrical connections would be more than a little neater. But I've become accustomed to shower fixtures like that in a number of places. There's no temp control; the temp of the water coming out depends on the flow volume. The slower the flow (beyond a certain minimum that triggers the fixture to go on) the warmer the water; the faster the flow, the cooler.
