Hi all!  In an entirely non-sex, non-escort/masseur, non-crypto experience, I had to spend nearly an hour in my bank this week, setting up a wire transfer from my account to an account in my name at the firm that handles my taxes and investments. About half an hour into the hour process, I asked what was going on. Their response was that wire fraud has increased 600% (yes, six hundred percent) since the pandemic, and that all bank personnel had mandatory training sessions on all these new safeguards.

And they are both really, really nice young men.

I feel phenomenally lucky to have found these guys. In both situations, the services I receive are at premium prices, which allows them to stick largely with a relatively small number of regulars. Both providers are also smart; each is in the process of working and studying for advanced degrees. It seems to me that keeping the circle on the small side, though certainly not risk-free, reduces epidemiological exposure, when compared to working ones way down the list on RM.

My only problem now is deciding on my pleasure budget.

Interesting point about spending my disposable income while I can. I have begun to do that when it comes to travel (business class!) and philanthropy (setting up a foundation), but somehow hadn't really included our hobby in that calculus. Really good point. Friends of mine are already surprised/impressed that I can, ahem, rise to the occasion for these protracted (and repeated) sessions at my age. I really don't know how much longer I'll be "up" to that delightful challenge before I'll have enough to handle with "more ordinary" sex.

Thanks for asking.  Given a short time frame and outrageous short-notice holiday airfares, I decided to head for Miami instead. I have friends there, and the city has enough latino talent to keep me interested/occupied. Saving Medellin for another time, when I can get better travel deals.
