I do agree with this. Definitely have had some encounters with guys that I think could be semi-homeless. There definitely are some drug users out there. I don't think is new but it is important to be careful. Had one guy hit me up when I was out of town and he tried to convince me to Venmo him for a "future visit." I declined of course and when I got back into town, his RM profile and SM had him in LA. He apparently moved there to "couch surf" with a friend after being evicted from his spot in Denver.
There always has been a significant number of escorts (perhaps even most)  who do this job because it's one of the few ways to make quick and relatively easy money when there otherwise aren't many other opportunities. It's one oef the few ways that these recent Venezuelan and Colombian guys can make good money. Absolutely nothing wrong in hiring these guys and many of them can provide a wonderful experience. But it's always a great idea to be careful with anyone that you hire as we have no idea what is going on in their life and yeah in some ways you have to be prepared for shit like, "What if this escort has a medical emergency while with me." If you cannot, you probably shouldn't hire at all.
