The key to wearing cosmetics, whether male or female, is to make it look like you're wearing none at all. I can think of many women I wouldn't hire because of their long fake nails.  I think " how can they work in those?".   There are several colors of nail polish that will enhance a man or a woman by making the nails clean and healthy, and several colors that detract from the overall appearance by  screaming look at me, look at me.

Taylor Swift has made long acrylic nails hot.

  2. WW bought a telehealth company last year and are now offering GLP1s. She would be the perfect spokeswoman. I wonder what she has up her sleeve.

WeightWatchers on Thursday launched a new telehealth clinic that will allow customers to receive GLP-1 weight loss prescriptions drugs like Ozempic and Wegovy...

The chiropractic session I had which I hoped would have released the nerve/muscle did not. Now the pain is traveling to the front of hip. When I take a step, my back feels stiff and then a nerve pain shoots from my hip/front pelvis down my leg.

How are you feeling? I'm really sorry you're in pain and that the chiro visit didn't help. I had a multi-level extrusion (burst disc) and protrusion on my neck, and I had horrible pain that radiated down my arm.

See if you can get a referral to a pain medicine doctor, preferably one trained in anesthesia.  They can give you an epidural steroid injection which will help for a few weeks. PT will help too though it's hard at first. It will get better though .

Up 6 pounds, with no sign of slowing down.  That's less the lack of Ozempic than me 'falling off the wagon' after Xmas when Stop & Shop had a clearance sale in January because they were phasing out their delivery service from a distribution warehouse (& changing to Instacart from their stores).  75% off many things no human being could resist ordering at that price...

    An apple pie for $1.75

    6 bagels $.80

Full size bags BBQ chips $.67

    Reduced fat Cool Whip $.82

More than a few frozen things (see below)

Plus, the occasional healthy thing like almonds, pecans, frozen spinach

Plus, I have magical online shopping powers and got 15 boxes of saltines for 17 cents apiece.  (I like crackers in my soup & now have enough for a couple of years).

    So, no carbs at all...

(a few of these frozen items were for a friend and have already been given to her)

Hard to resist eating during the holidays and during the sales afterwards! Six pounds is just a blip.

Remember that your health and mobility are worth a lot. The savings from medications and medical care alone amount to thousands of dollars a year.

New and improved versions of these drugs will be available very soon because of all the money there is to make.  Id say sit on the sidelines while these new versions hit the market.  A friend is currently on Ozempic and says he experiences side effects if he eats greasy fatty fried foods.

I have seen the pill form for sale at Canadian mail order pharmacies for 1/2 the price.  I'm am very careful when reading articles bashing these drugs.  Think of all the bariatric surgeons that will not be able to replace there porsches or buy new beach homes.  They must be getting nervous.

My friend purchases his supply in South America for about 1/3 of the USA cost.  Just wait and continue exercising and you will soon be able to get the pens out of a vending machine.

Well said. As with SSRIs, I think the market will be bursting with better versions in a few years.

Interesting point on bariatric surgeon and negative articles. It will be interesting to see where that field goes now that non-invasive alternatives are available. As for the negative articles, I wonder how many are coming from insurance industry shills as well.

And to be honest,  many (not all) of the patients requesting an Ozempic prescription from me have no cogent plan or strategy in specifically HOW they will change their diet & behavior.   They just demand their Ozempic NOW. I ask about their plans.  I listen & wait,  but the answers typically are somewhat weak & poorly formed,  tbh.

I am fearful some, not all, on this website who want their own prescription of Ozempic may fall in the same category.  The fear is many who lose weight on Ozempic will only regain it back unless they really change their behavior.   History will repeat itself.

With this in mind, some of my physician colleagues,  including myself,  have followed bariatric surgeons path. Bariatric surgeons demand prior to surgery that the patient lose a bit of weight and THEN they are offered bariatric surgery.  My colleagues and I are doing similar: we inform potential Ozempic patients they must lose 5-10% of their weight THEN we will prescribe Ozempic.  Simply put: whether I like it or not, I'm a gatekeeper of this "magical" drug. Therefore,  I must keep many factors in the forefront of my mind: will this prescription take away an imperative drug from a patient who needs it for diabetes?   What is the risk the patient will eventually regain the weight? Is this patient demonstrating clear evidence that changed behavior is present now, and likely will continue once the  Ozempic course has ended?

@josh282282 I just crossed the 10% threshold. Do I get my Ozempic rx now? 😘

Because I eat out 1-2 times a day, I’m losing about a pound a week. That’s fine with me. The weight loss may slow down further.

    13 pounds to go..

Or penile or urethral or testicular, unless perhaps related to routine blood tests.

The BRF press office wrote: “ It was during this intervention that a separate issue of concern was noted and subsequently diagnosed as a form of cancer.” Sounds like it involves one of the local organs.

It’s a sex club. Not a strip club.

I see. This Yelp review makes it sound like a strip club, at least on the female side:

"Staff are all extremely friendly. Truly professional experience. Place is clean and the girls are very attractive and well manicured. If you want to see a living bombshell go in and ask for Lilly. Not only does she have a great bubbly personality. She has to be one of the top 5 hottest girls I've ever seen in my life. 1 song just wasn't enough. I didn't want to go home. Oh yea did I mention she's gorgeous. Fantasy is down the block it's same owner and many of the same girls get rotated. But between the 2 locations if you don't find Lilly and get a dance from that sexy soft baby skin perfect ass and smile woman it is your loss. I had dreams about her. Yes she is that hot"

My immediate thought about Kate was she was going in to have a hysterectomy. Same thing happened to my mother at about the same age (my mom was 41 and had had 5 children).

In mom’s case it was a planned procedure and she was in the hospital for two weeks.

The only other thing I could think of common for women is ovarian cancer. But they seem to have ruled that out.

That was my first thought too, but a hysterectomy is usually an outpatient procedure. That's especially true for the BRF, who can set up hospital level care at home.

The speculation I've read is that she has a longstanding GI issue that became acute.

And now a message from Fergie, Prince Andrew’s ex.

Check your skin for abnormal moles. She just discovered she has melanoma, the most virulent form of skin cancer.

She’s having a bad run of luck. She has breast cancer last year and had a mastectomy..

Yes, definitely keep a lookout for anything new or different, whether it's a mole or not.  Red or pink, pearlescent spots with raised edges can also be skin cancer, although a less aggressive form than melanoma. Consider seeing a derm for an annual full body skin check. I had mine today.

Like most fluffy coated creatures, I sleep better in the cold (55 degrees ideally). As a result, my heat is never turned on. I use a space heater instead.

It was 50 degrees indoors last night.

The idea came from a poster here. His handle escapes me but he’s a doctor with a clown avatar. He said that the best he ever slept was outside on a porch in winter. So I try to simulate that, covered by a fleece blanket and two comforters.

  12. I dated a frat guy from another school. The older guys hazed really hard; they woke up the pledges to go buy cigarettes, etc. In my innocence, I asked my boyfriend why he didn't just tell the older guys to screw themselves. He replied that hazing is part of every job, so we should all get used to it.

I liked the close bonds between the guys, so I decided to join a sorority.  Like all the Greek orgs at my school, it was new and non-residential. Also, there was a firm no hazing policy. I wish I had devoted more time to it.

It's wild that there are SAE guys here. They were so...straight

Girls have gotten better at sucking dick over the last few decades. Glory holds were more common in days gone by when women didn't put out before marriage (or at minimum serious relationships). One of my high school classmates swears he serviced several of our top athletes who dated "good girls" and later married them but wanted to get off in the meanwhile.

Many of the anonymous dicks you all sucked at public toilets and bookstores  were attached to guys who generally identified as straight.

These days women are more inclined to be an easy lay and an even more easy b.j...so your supply of hungry tops has been depleted.

Many of the men who hung out at public restrooms and porn shops fifty years ago were married. In 1970, the average man married at age 22-23, so that makes sense.

A book on glory holes/men's rooms, Tearoom Trade, came out at that time. The author took down license plate numbers at a local men's room, had a cop friend run the plates, and showed up at the unsuspecting cruisers' homes posing as a public health official taking a routine survey. As you say, some of the married  men he talked to were traditional masc guys who claimed their wives didn't like sex. Others said they were perfectly satisfied with their sex lives. Most of the  single men were either looking for underaged guys or were semi-openly gay.

Thanks. There are several videos, actually. Not the best, not the worst. Seen better, done better, hired better.

Don't know if I can post the link here, though.

This is such wholesome porn. Executive comes home, kisses his wife (who has already freshened up in anticipation of his arrival), and they have enthusiastic sex. Very 1962.
