I did see him. His name is Shen, and he is very professional. Shen Sifu Integrated Wellness SHENSIFU.COM Relax. Restore. Revitalize. He is a lovely, soft-spoken, serious man. Well trained, and very respectful. He has a high quality, very comfortable table, with fully adjustable headrest. The soft sheet covering also felt good against the skin. He has gifted hands, for sure, and does wonderful Shiatsu on the feet. He seems capable of strong pressure, if needed, but I specifically asked to go a bit lighter. I did not fall asleep, and the pain I endured was clearly good pain. A strong warmth seems to emanate from his hands, which my body appreciated. Best of all, he uses Biotone, which is a massage cream I really like. I only booked one hour, which is typical of a first time visit. Next time I will book 90 minutes, because one hour is not enough time to do the work that my body needs. (Edit) omg, I forgot to add he offers a discounted rate for first time customers; $120 for 75 minutes. It was this incentive that motivated me to give him a try. I'm glad I did.

Has anyone tried Why Not Men's Spa in Greenwich Village? Pricing – Why Not Men's Spa WHYNOTMENSPA-NYC.COM They claim to do Waxing and Trim, which seems to imply electric clippers (maybe scissors or razor?). Buttocks are $35, and Brazilian Bikini (a woman's term at a men's spa) for $50. Can't beat the pricing. Has anyone tried them, for any service? (Edit) So I called Why Not and spoke to a gentleman at the front desk. He confirmed there are two different prices; one for waxing, one for electric clipper trimming. I asked about "buttocks," and he said the service includes "between the cheeks." I also mentioned my front groin area, and he said for front and back the trim service is a $75 package. He said all the practitioners at the spa were males, no women. If anyone has any experience here, please PM me, thanks.

Any 411 this DC provider ? NaturalFeelzzz

LOL. He's got quite the collection of flip-flops, and a catalog for resort wear. -
Moving forward, it's probably a good idea to play low on the subject of erotic, and wait for a safer opportunity to discuss such things. Some guys won't care, but others will care a great deal. I predict the industry is about to come under more scrutiny, and certain people are going to feel some pain, if they are not more careful.

How the hell are these masseurs STILL in business?!
d.anders replied to Capitano's topic in Spas & Masseurs
That thought never entered my brain. I prefer to give most gay men the benefit of the doubt. You never really know whether you dodge a bullet, because you never really know how a massage guy is going to behave until after you strip naked and get on the table. I've had many guys surprise me with their desire to explore further when all I was looking for was a good massage. Sex is usually the last thing on my mind. I realize that makes me an outlier here. -
Works for me. Same here. Even if you're a straight masseur, I like the balls it takes to attract a gay customer. Most guys who advertise on gay massage sites aren't going to freak out if they touch your balls, or include your genitals, or if you request total nudity. It's the right place to shop for my kind of serious massage.

How the hell are these masseurs STILL in business?!
d.anders replied to Capitano's topic in Spas & Masseurs
No way. I contacted him early on, before doing more research. I think I sent him a photo. He had no problem saying yes. Then I dug deeper. Saw the thread links that dated back years. I rejected him long ago. Furthermore, with all those zen words in his ads, not one word about being licensed. -
KingdelRey partners with Eliron, who I find very attractive. Eliron happens to own a beautiful erection, with an amazing body. These guys are probably not pro-trained masseurs, but I could sure imagine a fun touching fantasy unfold with a 4-hand purchase. It's not a fantasy I can afford, but I sure do appreciate hearing from others who did the hire. If anyone does a 4-hand with these two guys, please feel free to PM me, and share the details (and maybe some photos). I would be forever grateful. Thank you. 🥰

The links above are interesting reading. None of his photos are full body, so it's impossible to judge height. There seem to be no nude photos in private pics (unless that has changed), but his package in underwear appears to be mega-huge. Makes me leery that something down there may not be attractive, and who wants to encounter an ugly piece when the pants come down, regardless of size? Or, maybe he likes a bit of mystery.

How the hell are these masseurs STILL in business?!

LOL. The elitist language notwithstanding: "very specific gate-keeper" "only sees the best of the best gentlemen" "a sweet, conservative midwestern guy with a great deal of talent and a broad following of elevated people" The best: "He's not opening his hole to any dirty old man with cash in hand." Thank you for the laugh. I'm picturing a yellow-brick-road straight to his ass, with elevated gentlemen (and a dog) skipping north. I'm sure there are plenty of horny gay men lining up to try the guy. Rejection is a turn-on for so many gay men. I wasn't making any judgement about him as a person. I don't know him. It's the marketing behavior with subsequent reviews that deserves scrutiny and rejection. -
I contacted him. Very professional. If I see him, I'll report back. I don't care if he's not gay.

There is no law against being a precious a-hole. There is a law against discrimination, but I doubt he has anything to worry about. This is like calling the cops and screaming "kidnap" when one of the HE spas retaliates against a client for refusing upsells. Ad-nauseum or not, it's good for men on this board to see over and over again who is worth our attention and who is not. Just because Cam-Cam has been good to you, doesn't mean he's worth the risk. -

LOL. Sorry, no velvet ropes with me. If a provider is that precious, I don't care what he looks like, it's a turn-off for me. Getting naked and having another man touch you is a very sensitive, vulnerable service. The last thing I want to endure, or hand off money to, is a guy who thinks he can discriminate and get away with it. People who want to pick and choose their customers, based on lord knows what, don't belong in a service business. They should be called out for their bullshit, and not be supported. -
I didn't know one could still find masseur ads on Craigslist. This guy appears to be quite credited.

Oh my, being busted for using AI. I'm feeling very old. I had no idea one could do that.

RM not accepting Visa anymore!? What the actual f$ck?
d.anders replied to BuffaloKyle's topic in The Lounge
Seems like a crazy business decision, however, business in Europe is a different animal than here in the U.S. From my days of business travel, I always had both a Visa and MC, because in Europe, you never knew which business accepted which card. Most businesses I encountered in Europe had restrictions on which card could be used. They simply could not afford, or did not want to endure the expense of offering too many cards. If I was a massage therapist, and I profited from, and liked the UI of rentmasseur, I would definitely get a MC. -
It's probably a double-edged sword. On the one side, handsome photos could attract more business. On the sharpest side, good photos could attract horny, aggressive customers in search of sex. Imagine being a service provider being constantly propositioned by out-of-control horny men that you're not attracted to. What an annoying pain. Pick your poison. I never heard of this place before. Their prices seem incredibly low. I would like to know more. (edit) I see they do mostly sugaring. Their specific lasering process has some negative reviews.

Very true. Absolutely cannot deal with soap scent in any way. And god forbid if the cock/balls taste like soap. No go. I've always enjoyed discovering the scent of hairless men. So far, the hairy (overly muscled) men shown on this thread do nothing for me.

Just goes to show, one man's horror is another man's sweetheart. The road is treacherous, gentlemen. Drive with caution and street smarts. -
Good luck with that.

Impatience? Overly needy? What do you look like? What is your perception of your looks? They could be two different things. How does anyone define attractive? How insecure are you? The last thing I think about when I get on someone's table is whether or not he will find me attractive. I worry more about finding the masseur attractive, and more importantly, finding talent. No one has ever called me ugly, or worse, grotesque. I'm certainly not the hottie of my youth, but I assume because of my old age, no man in his 30's is going to have the hots for me. So why think about such things? I really dislike delusion. I'm on the table for a service. If it works out, great. If not, I move on. Sometimes the worst thing you can do is fawn too much. Fawning tends to be interpreted as desperate. Many good looking guys are seriously turned off by desperate. Social skills, they matter.

"Hello officer, I'm stuck at a HE men's spa, and they won't let me go because I refuse to submit to the upsell. This is kidnapping. Can you come quick?" LOL. The silly things some gay men say.

The scent of a man is so individual. Not only the pits, but especially a sweaty groin area. I ask all my masseurs to not wear deodorant, and allow me to visit after a workout. Most comply without issue. IME, it is not easy to find someone who clicks. I did see a well-reviewed guy here who would grace my nose with his armpit while he worked on me. His scent was nice, but a bit too subtle. He left NYC. Some guys smell plain awful, or the scent isn't quite the right one. I like sweet musky. When the musk goes sour, it can be an issue. Long ago, I put my scent fetish in my profile. I simply say, "If you've ever been complimented on your body odor during sex, I want to hire you." I'm still looking for right guy. The gym locker room was always a fun place to test someone's air. I did get hard a few times, but it's not easy to approach a stranger on this. And if the neighbor locker guy is straight, it can get ugly. Maybe this thread will inspire.
