Pulse Memorial's rainbow crosswalk removed overnight in Fla
+ JamesB replied to samhexum's topic in The Lounge
The National Pulse Memorial and Museum was originally planned to open around 2022, but the project never came to completion. The onePULSE Foundation, which had raised nearly $20 million, dissolved in 2023 amid criticism over high executive salaries and a lack of transparency. That same year, the City of Orlando purchased the Pulse site and created a new committee to guide the memorial’s future. The nightclub still stands for now but is slated for demolition, with a new memorial expected to open in 2027. -
motive for a bargain basement donation

On the couple of occasions I’ve hired someone under a so-called ‘special offer,’ the experience has always turned into an upsell from the very beginning. I’ve learned my lesson. -
Any chance you could elaborate? Totally fine to DM me if that’s easier.

Is working as an escort very risky?
+ JamesB replied to charmasianman's topic in Questions About Hiring
I’m sure facial recognition played a role in this. In recent years, law enforcement agencies have been relying more heavily on technologies like Clearview AI to identify and locate individuals. These tools give law enforcement the ability to scan massive databases of images pulled from across the internet and quickly generate potential matches. While the practice has raised significant debates around privacy and accuracy, there’s no denying that facial recognition has become an increasingly common part of modern policing. -
Provider Proselytizing To Clients

Ah yes, the sacred art of having the last word on the internet, the true pinnacle of human achievement. Because as we all know, the person who types the final comment in a thread automatically wins eternal glory, instant credibility, and possibly even a Nobel Prize in Keyboard Warrior Studies. -
While I’m clear about what I want and what I do and don’t like, I always make sure to keep it classy.

Grocery Shopping II: Self check out, like or loath?
+ JamesB replied to ICTJOCK's topic in The Lounge
My local Walmart did away with all its self-checkout lanes a couple of months ago. Target, Publix, and CVS still have them, and I do like the convenience, especially for those quick trips when I’m only grabbing a handful of items. -
*Does ANYONE look like their pics ?
+ JamesB replied to Chancealot's topic in Questions About Hiring
From my experience, I’ve encountered everything from providers who look exactly like their photos to those using someone else’s pictures entirely. That said, in most cases, they look more or less as advertised. Naturally, a provider will select their most flattering shots, and with the abundance of filters and photo editing tools available today, it’s easier than ever to enhance images. Some providers keep their photos updated, while others leave the same ones up for years. As I’ve mentioned before, I simply assume that every provider is a bit older, shorter, and heavier than their ad suggests, and that the photos are slightly older and retouched. Approaching it with this mindset helps avoid a lot of disappointment. -

He might not be able to. Since he’s new here, there’s a minimum post count required before someone can edit. I’m not sure what the exact number is. -
It seems you may be mixing up RMasseur and RMen. RMasseur accepts reviews from any member, whether basic (free) or premium. While they prefer communication to happen through their site, they will still publish your review if you provide screenshots of your meeting arrangements text with the provider. RMen, on the other hand, requires you to be a paying member in order to submit a review.

This right here is key.

I’m bi and genuinely enjoy both roles. My favorite encounters are those where we can flip roles, but it depends on the situation, bottoming isn’t my favorite because I dislike the prep work. When I hire, I’m almost always top only, with very few exceptions.

I use a VoIP number app that only requires an email to register an email I created solely for this purpose. If I see someone multiple times and become a regular, then they’ll get my real number. I have no interest in giving every provider I try my personal phone number. For the same reason, first meetings are always at their place or a hotel, I don’t want every provider I meet to know where I live.

I agree with the advice shared above, if it’s just a couple of items, the best approach is to simply remove any tags or packaging. In this case, since your friend is flying in from Colombia, customs typically isn’t too concerned about a few Louis Vuitton pieces if you know what I mean. I travel from South/Central America to the U.S. at least 4 times a year, and the only time I recall being stopped was when I had an empty suitcase. For whatever reason, that raised a red flag. They ran it through the x-ray and then let me go without any issue.

I just hope he’s not in the mood for a walk in the rain.

You might want to give Hunqz a try, I've had good results with it across Europe. A quick Google search also brought up escorta.com, though I don’t have any personal experience with that one.

I’m sorry to hear that you’ve had such negative experiences in this forum. I have to say, my own experience has been quite different, though I’ve been a member for a shorter time than you. I see forums like this as places to exchange information and ideas. You’ll come across perspectives that align with yours, and others that don’t. Both can be valuable, either reinforcing your beliefs or encouraging you to consider different viewpoints. Like any public space on the internet (or in real life, for that matter), you’ll encounter all kinds of people, from thoughtful, knowledgeable, and helpful individuals to the unkind, aggressive, and what we now call “trolls.” These have existed since the days of IRC, they just used to be called a**holes. That’s where the ignore or block function comes in handy. I personally prefer blocking, but as far as I can tell, this forum only offers the ignore option. While you’ll still see that the ignored member posted something, you won’t see the content of the post, nor will you receive notifications or messages from them. In the end, it’s up to you to not let those types of users get under your skin. Focus on engaging with the better side of the community. There’s a lot of knowledge and support here if you tune out the noise. I hope your experience improves as you build up your ignore list and start enjoying all the good things this forum has to offer.
