  1. Is anyone familiar with the website 321 Escorts and is it legit?

I found an ad on the site for “nursingstudentNYC” out of Boston, the photos belong to the escort Fun_Dude, who used to advertise on RM out of Boston. (He hasn’t had an ad in a few years.) Not familiar with the site, wasn’t sure if anyone had experience using it?

  2. Spent time with him Oct 2020. Highly recommend.

Arranged to meet him in spring 2021, he ended up cancelling. Disappointing, but it was handled professionally.

As for videotaping, our session was an in-call, so no. Didn’t seem the type to do something that shady. But people always surprise me.

  3. Have twice made appointments with him, that he cancelled shortly (same day) before meeting. The second time was “due to illness”... but then he was posting on his Instagram account later that day. I suppose there are scenarios where he was truly under the weather and then posting pictures of himself socializing a few hours later, but I don’t feel like doing the mental gymnastics to get there. I decided it was easier to scroll past his ad in the future.

  4. A name change doesn’t bother me if it’s not constantly changing. Might be trying to generate new business or attract a different type of client.

But that phone number thing is strange, especially since it’s the number listed in the ad. Either he’s trying to ditch with a flimsy excuse, or a friend/partner took the phone? Can’t really make sense of it on the surface.

  5. The nature of the deposit in escorting seems to be that some providers come with a built-in suspicion that all clients are flakes.

Well, that‘s probably fair. And I would also point out that clients are extending the same level of trust to providers. I’m sure any person with a long track record of hiring has stories of providers who no-show, who aren’t who they advertised to be, who arrive under the influence, etc. (Even providers who are well-reviewed here.) Trust is a two-way street.

I know certain providers require a phone conversation with clients ahead of time. I’ve always thought this is a good idea, and am surprised more don’t practice this. This can help to build trust between the two of you, while not being so off-putting and risky as demanding payment up front.

  6. It’s just that in order for me to give a deposit the provider needs to be able to reasonably assure me will provide me what I’m looking for – not just some generic explanation about this or that.

Yep. It isn’t unusual to have contractors ask for a deposit if they are going to work on repairs or updates to your home. But (1) the deposit typically serves the purpose of buying materials to work on your job, and *most importantly* (2) you would have a signed contract with the contractor doing business with you, which protects both parties.

In lieu of having signed contracts in this field, I would never be comfortable with a deposit. What’s the purpose of the deposit? If I’m paying you for time or activities performed, then I will pay you once I’ve received your time and activities performed. If I’m paying you so you’ll trust me, then you’ve already indicated that you don’t trust me, so I’m not comfortable continuing the relationship.

I’m sure there are other views on it, but that outlines why I will never be comfortable with the concept of a deposit.

  7. I most likely would pay him the full amount, although it would depend on the circumstances. If he lost it half way through the allotted time, and decided he would just bolt out the door, then probably not. But if he apologized, and continued to interact with you, then yes.

  8. I've read the same Tumblr posts from him. I don't see him as saying he'll like you "more" if you pay the deposit. Instead, he's saying that settling the payment removes tension.

Fair enough. I came away with a very different feeling from his “confirmation policies”. Since it’s on a public tumblr page, it should be okay to share the part in question, and people can make up their own mind.

“In order for us to have a high quality time from the start, including starting from this text exchange, I strongly prefer you give me a vouch of trust (it’ll make me like you more. When you insinuate I’m a scammer, that doesn’t make me like you very much: not great for someone you’re going to have sex with, so things already don’t start off great).”

I try to approach escorts with an open mind and to understand that they have, on occasion, been burned.

That’s fine. Clients, too, have been burned, so hopefully we’re all approaching each other with open minds.

I also find it distasteful when clients suggest that holding payment over the escorts head is the way to ensure a good session. Same for clients who, in the past according to older posts, used to hold the potential for a positive or negative review over the escorts head. My approach is to work out the terms if they are acceptable to me and the escort and go from there.

Okay. Not sure exactly who or what this is in reference to, but perhaps I missed some conversations up thread, which I only skimmed through.

  9. Sticking to your policy in this regard is probably the right thing to do - even if the reasoning seems kosher... ;)

Oh, definitely. I never questioned my unwillingness to pay a deposit, but what it made me question was him.

I’m not suggesting he’s a scam artist. But his “confirmation policy” is... trying to find the right word... long-winded? And there’s a section that suggests by paying the deposit, he’ll like you “more”, which rubbed me entirely the wrong way.

Ultimately, when asking for a deposit, you can’t effectively position it with a “What? Don’t you trust me?” sentiment. By scheduling time with you, I trust that you look like your pictures, I trust that you are the person in the description, I trust that you’re disease-free (unless otherwise stated), I trust that you’re not undercover. So, yes, to a degree I trust you. Do you trust me?

I understand his policy, and I respect it enough to discontinue the conversation and not waste either of our time.

I have more thoughts based on his responses to me, but probably enough to leave it at that.

  10. I’ve cancelled (flaked?) as a client two times.

The first was my first (would-be) hire, Mike Grey. I called the night before and said I couldn’t go through with it. I was so panicked, I never gave it a thought how my cancellation impacted him. Not a proud moment looking back, but I was inexperienced with guys, and the hiring protocol.

The second time was with Dane Scott, who I had seen before (and since). But I legitimately had a work issue come up, so I had to cancel same-day. To make it up to him somewhat, I gifted him his ad on Rentmen.

Just offering these examples to show that cancellations do sometimes happen and it’s not (always) someone trying to be an asshole.

By the way, as a client I’ve been same-day cancelled/no show-ed on - at least - six occasions. Including one individual twice (I’m 0 for 2 with him). And all have been well-reviewed on this board. So it definitely works both ways.

  11. It‘s been over a year since I’ve hired, but recently started looking again. So I’ve been out of the loop on him.

I contacted him, agreed on a time, and while I thought the rates were a little high ($780/2 hr), they weren’t *that* much more than what I’d pay for 2 hrs including tip.

Then I got the “deposit required” text. Some interesting back and forth transpired - nothing bad, all very polite and respectful. Out of courtesy to the provider, I’ll leave the details of that conversation out, but it did make me question some things. Ultimately, I’m afraid I’ll have to pass. He has his policies, and I have mine.

  12. Was just revisiting this old thread I’d started. In February of this year, I started looking at profiles, then coronavirus came along and doused any spark that might have been flickering. Oh well, truth be told, I was probably trying to force something to happen earlier this year, and let’s face it: it’s rare that something good would come from that.

Now when I start to look at profiles, I lose interest in a couple of minutes. So I guess I’ve retired from the game (last hire was in August, 10 months ago). And the fact that it doesn’t bother me tells me it’s the right decision. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll un-retire like Gronkowski, but for now I’m done. I feel better spending time and money towards other endeavors.

To all who remain in “the game”, good luck and stay safe. And in the immortal words of Colleen Haskell, “Be nice, play fair.”

  13. It’s been a while since I’ve hired someone new, so thought I’d take some recommendations.

Looking for someone in the NYC area, bottom or versatile, bigger guy (6’0” or taller, muscular frame), and genuine nice guy who can connect on a personal level. Big dick is a plus.

    Anyone come to mind?

  14. I just found him on social... but when I reached out he blocked me. Think he’s definitely a no go these days.

Even if he’s available, by all accounts stay away. Long story, but my family knew his family. Not well, but I met him a few times before the porn/escort days, just in social settings. This was around 2005 or 2006 I think, he was late teens. When I first saw his Sean Cody movies some years later, I did some googling, and learned some information. “Scam Artist” might be the most polite way to describe it. But a very charming individual. Just be aware.

  15. A few providers that either retired or stopped their ads in 2019:

    Sarugbymuscle

    Boylegacy

    Fun_Dude

I’ll be sad if I don’t get to visit with these gentlemen again. Just want to thank them here for their time, warmth, and professionalism, in the event they read the forums.

Who else retired this year that you’ll miss?
