I travel with a mini french press made of metal so it doesn't break in the luggage. If there's a microwave water can be heated up in a coffee cup and poured in. Otherwise running the tap water hot can work, though not ideal. But for that first infusion of caffeine in the morning I'll take a lukewarm cup of good coffee rather than a hot cup of lousy coffee, given the choice.

When I was growing up we had a Hornet Sportabout wagon, which was a close relation to the Gremlin. It was the first new car my parents ever bought, and the choice came down to either the Hornet or a Gran Torino wagon. Really looking forward to this next weekend. I've lost count of how many I've been to, but never regretted it. Well some of you know but probably most do not. I have spent the better part of 2018 writing a book with a professional ghostwriter.
Its a big deal for me personally. I have been wanting to tell this story for a long time.
Due to my lack of education and skill level a professional was desperately needed. She is wonderful and has been an incredible help to me this past year.
My book chronicles my very open life through drug addiction homelessness and my healing.
Yes I talk in great deal about my work as an escort. It is probably one of the most powerful parts of my life.
Escorting has been life affirming and with my own personal set of challenges and victories this work has inspired me greatly.
Now that I have gotten the content down. I need to shop it to publishers.
I have joined an agency crowd source platform called "publishizer" and have rolled out a pre-sale launch
the way it works is if I can pre-sale over 500 books this agency will pitch my story to the big traditional publishing houses.
I only have 30 days to get 500 copies pre-sold!!! YIKES!!!
There are lots of ways to get a book deal but very limited for sex workers.
Yes I could self publish however I am compelled to go after a larger distribution to get sex work stories into more main stream audiences.
I could really use your help.
Every copy bought will earn you an entry into my drawing for a $500 gift card from visa.
I want to use some of my marketing budget to make it fun for those supporting me on this up hill road so I am giving away 500 bucks.

I would like to thank everyone who attended the Sunday MAL Forum brunch, and other gatherings, this past weekend. We had an incredibly fun time with clients and providers enjoying good food, making connections, and drinking lots of alcohol. Please read @latbear4blk synopsis of the weekend in the post above. He’s described the weekend so much more eloquently than I could ever write myself.
 
Special thanks to each of the providers who were able to attend @nate_sf , @Ace , @hunterlee , @WilliamErickson and @VictorPowers. This event, along with Palm Springs, allows our community to get together and build relationships that strengthen bonds and create lasting friendships. Now more than ever, we all need to gather in safe, nonjudgmental, and respectful evironments where we can just be ourselves and speak openly about this unique hobby and profession.
