Sorry to hear this. Got to know him when he moved from Boston to NYC. He used to join a group of us at the 20 Club. A very intelligent man who made some very thought provoking posts.

He was a great contributor to the forums, both here and at boytoy.com. RIP

Update Friday, March 12th. I sent the social worker a few additional names of associates of daddy’s. Hopefully, these leads can turn up someone related to him or someone who might have POA. Thanks to those sending me this information.
 
Daddy’s condition remains the same. No change from Wednesday’s report.
 
It’s now over 2 weeks since the police found daddy on the floor of his home. Other than keeping him in our thoughts, prayers, or sending good karma, we just have to patiently wait for the healing/recovery process to kick in.
 
I truly appreciate all the concern and love you’ve shown for daddy/Guy Fawkes. He means a lot to us. I’ll do my best to keep you posted.

Part of the concern we have about Daddy’s condition is also related in addition to his health the steps that can be taken to try to avoid falling into his situation when one lives alone and has a health crisis. There have been several suggestions that have been very useful in knowing how to prepare oneself. All of life is a learning experience if we are open to discussing things openly and with good intentions.
 
Of course we are deeply concerned about Daddy but there is precious little we can do about it in the current circumstances.

It's really quite simple. The proximate cause was the way that the car was being driven. It can be simultaneously true that something else can be the reason that the manner of driving seemed necessary. It's perfectly rational to attribute her death to that indirect cause, in this case the behaviour of the media. It's a bit like blaming the former president for the Covid deaths on his watch. He clearly didn't personally infect the people with the disease, but his inaction created the conditions in which they did. Of course, the media didn't force the driver to drive the way he did, he could have driven like a little old lady on the way to church on Sunday, but he didn't, he drove like someone seeking to escape from perceived danger. Just because you don't see the link or accept the the validity of their assessment doesn't make the princes' attribution of blame to the media irrational.

Why is it that suggesting an Asian boyfriend brings up calls to watch your wallet? Yes, we have set up a system in Asia, mainly Thailand, where Asian men who would otherwise not get near you will have sex with you for money. That's the deal and you subscribe to it when and if you enter the market.
But to suggest that Asian men in general are out for your money is no truer than any other group of people. Eastern European? Hispanic? White? They all have gold diggers, but they are not the dominant representatives.

I agree. Years ago I watched Larry King quite a bit and found the way he interviewed people to be very engaging. He had a natural way of drawing people out and you didn’t feel he was just going through the motions with standard questions. He allowed people to express themselves, whether that showed them to be sympathetic or otherwise. And those suspenders...

I've had a lot of fun in St. Louis, but, unless something changes in the next couple of weeks, my work requires me to relocate to Indianapolis in late-FEB. I anticipate that I'll be able to visit St. Louis at least quarterly, if not monthly, but it's difficult to predict what will happen in this economy.

No, I think there is nothing wrong with spending time with escorts from a moral perspective. To me morality should be based on how your actions effect other people. As long as you are two consenting adults, there is nothing harmful about the relationship between an escort and his client.
 
I think potentially it could be morally harmful if it effects your relationships with others. Like if your loved-ones would be ashamed or hurt if they found out you were engaged in this hobby since many in society consider it "wrong." This is why I really do my best to keep this entire thing to be my business only. I really don't discuss this with any friends or family at all except of course on the forum. But others may not have loved-ones that would care as much about this.
 
I do think you need to watch out for issues of consent and there certainly could be human trafficking issues in escorting. But if you are careful and thoughtful about this hobby, there is really nothing morally wrong with it at all.

Any fans of Joni Mitchell's music? This is pretty big news. Joni Mitchell attended a Chick Corea concert in LA last Saturday. She suffered an aneurysm in 2015 and has been below the radar since then. Mitchell's conservator and close friends have done an excellent job of protecting her privacy, but that has meant few updates and very little detail regarding her condition for her fans.
