this forum and PMs with trusted forum members seem to be the primary ways I vet providers these days........PMs with RM clients has been helpful at times, but it's important to vet even the clients over there!!!....(their length of membership there, # of provider reviews, and tone of personal replies can help with this)........daddysreviews is, of course, the best site of its kind, but the recent shortage of new reviews is hurting......that long-hiatus the site took a year or so ago probably drove away some regular reviewers.....the somewhat-cumbersome review form is too much for some, I presume...... and those always-present "YMMV" and "chemistry" concerns will always be important and no review can solve those

saw Adam at a buffboyz "loft" event in NYC a couple months ago......definitely in good shape, handsome, and straight-appearing......was busy with other guys when he was free and vice-versa, so no private time, regretfully....... the operator of buffboyz and the operator of Philly's slowteasinghandjobs are good friends.......so there's some exchange of "talent" there

FANTASTIC trip report and personal comments!.....love reading these practical hints and thoughts.......I've been in several of the US and Asia places over the last couple years that you've hit and it's great to read your comments..... you say you have Siem Reap coming up: we were there this last February and cold-asked the first taxi driver outside arrivals at the airport (mid-morning) if he'd be our driver for the entire rest of the day to take us around to the main areas of miles-wide Angkor Wat (car is very helpful and it seems they are very set up to help the tourists this way at the airport).......I think it took about two minutes for him to find somebody and the driver was excellent!......no apparent racket, very reasonable, very efficient and knowledgeable, nice car, friendly vibe (only fair English)......$37 ticket required for the various Angkor sites, which a driver will help you get (have to go to a special office to buy it).......at one point, the driver handed us off to a walking tour guy for the main temple and we paid him separately for that ~45-minute or so part......the driver also had us walk areas and meet him at "the other end" once or twice....we bought him lunch and stuff and then he took us to our hotel at the end of the day......his fee was embarrassingly inexpensive!........fantastic day and the nightlife downtown would make a Buddhist monk shudder.......
