I have run into these pics a lot on Grindr in nyc. So part of me wonders how legit it is. Hopefully someone can confirm, otherwise I have tentative plans to meet with him in his nyc trip.

I find it really ironic that gays want to be out and super vocal on activist issues and their political agenda but have a problem when someone discusses it with a differing viewpoint. Besides just being on the wrong side of politics in current day, the double standard is disturbing - particularly since the majority don’t even recognize it.

Lots of reasons, but primarily because gay culture engages in an endless want and consumption of ‘new and pretty’ that creates a turnstyle effect of performers; it’s never enough, and will never be enough. Which means supply and demand goes out the window.
When it comes to escorts, some of which now pull from the same pool of OF performers, they are making more money there now than ever before. They think they’re celebrities, and their worth is grossly overvalued. It’s why you see random people land on these sites starting with ‘$500’ without a single review. They speak to their OF friends, they feel they’re in the same league, and feel they can charge a similar price.
The trend will continue, despite supply being ever increasing and more available, with hotter guys and more options, until OF gets a reality check.

I am sorry to see what he is described as / labelled as in this thread. I met him, he is a nice and handsome guy, and we did not discuss politics. Even had we discussed such, I probably would have respected his viewpoint had I agreed with it or not. Tolerance.
