  1. Agreed 35 at a minimum but compared to others I've seen over the years, he has aged exceptionally well. Particularly for a white guy. Then again he could be Latino under that platinum blond bleaching I suppose.
  2. Some prefer continuous happy endings to discrete ones.
  3. So does the mailman simply not deliver to your house or did you stop picking it up and they stopped bringing it? I would think some people TRY to mail you at your home address, even if just to send a card.
  4. $5000/year? It sounds like a lot, but isn't private individual health insurance far more expensive from a premium dollar perspective than medicare B plus a medigap policy? If you go from paying $!8000/year in premium to $8000, you may still be ahead in overall dollars. It's just a question of when you spend them in the year.
  5. I'd want to know what doses they were giving in that study. Because Tylenol has never seemed to affect me at all when I've taken it, and there are severe limits on the amount of Tylenol you can take due to liver toxicity. And if the opioids they were using were ones that were combined with tylenol, the problem could have been that they couldn't give as much opioid as the patient needed because of the acetaminophen limit.
  6. I would think 8 weeks is easier to mess up actually if life gets in the way of your scheduled shot. At least with Truvada if you screw up, you know when you had sex and Truvada also confers some level of post-exposure protection so if you are sure to take it after you are likely still protected.
  7. They push it when it's a savings relative to the cost of the drug. A drug that's $30/month, the pharmacist's time is a significant fraction of the total cost for you to get the drug, and when it's for a condition that you will definitely be taking it continuously, then going to 90 days is a significant savings. When the drug costs over $1000/month, that savings as a fraction of the total is meaningless. Especially compared to the risk you get a 90-day supply then switch insurers or drop your coverage altogether, and they just paid over $2000 they shouldn't have been on the hook for.
  8. May not have been known at the time he went to med school. But it shows he doesn't keep up with his reading like a medical professional should. It was in the newspapers when they found the link.
  9. My sister has multiple sclerosis and lives in a nursing home. This "reefer madness" about opiates is causing them to drop most of the pain meds that actually work for her and causing her suffering. Thankfully they haven't taken her fentanyl patch, but there are days she is in tears from the pain and all they will give her is two ibuprofen. Some types of nerve pain are unrelenting and opioids are in fact the best and some cases only option for it. Yes it's stupid to give it to people for a single day of pain. It's equally stupid to cut off someone with a chronic condition who is not going to be able to function without it.
  10. How old when they got married that she had you after 25 years of marriage? Did they, um, HAVE TO get married?
  11. My mother and her cousin introduced each other to a guy they had previously dated. Both got married. I THINK but am not sure my father and the other guy knew each other already.
  12. Be aware that it's constipating and consider taking some extra fiber or a magnesium supplement. If you are only taking the recommended amount and being careful about it you should be okay. This "getting hooked on the first dose" thing doesn't really happen. But if you're only going to take much less than the dose recommended you probably might as well not bother. In general I found it only took the edge off the pain more than really killing the pain. I usually only took it at night so I wasn't kept awake by the pain, but there was a period where I took it during the day. I never took it for more than a couple of weeks at a time. If you haven't been to one I would strongly recommend seeing a physical therapist, ideally one who went to school more recently and who spends the whole hour with you. They are WAY better educated now than they used to be. I saw a couple in 2001 that did nothing to help with my back issues and I started again in late 2015 and it was night and day.
  13. Let's be real, MMA has simply got to have tons of closeted old queens bankrolling up and comers for sexual favors just like bodybuilding does. He was just stupid and did it on camera instead of escorting.
  14. It's a bit of a luxury to be able to take that position unless you are an outlier in terms of prospects or independently wealthy. Ok, if you enjoy interviews then that's a whole other thing I guess.
  15. Depends on which way. If the brother-in-law is your sibling's spouse, then no, though they may call them that just because there's no succinct word for it. If the BIL is your spouse's brother, then yes. OR, as I suspect EastBayMike is joking, he's had sex with his husband. Who would be his brother-in-law's brother...
  16. I know that's what's listed and when he started, I just seem to recall back then a lot of people talking about him as if he were older than he claimed. He wasn't really a young-looking late 20s.
  17. Am I the only one who was under the impression he was older than that?
  18. Large companies can have layoffs even in areas that are doing well because they've decided to squeeze out every inch of margin they can. And even if you are well regarded by your immediate colleagues, the decisions sometimes come from the top from someone who neither knows nor gives a shit about the details.
  19. When you say the woman who hired you was let go after only 6 months, that almost makes it sound like it was a case of "cleaning house" because they didn't feel she was working out and she brought you in. It's not uncommon for the people an outside hire brings on to get canned when they do. I think the other elements likely contributed but may not be primary. Or maybe they are. Just odds are it's not going to be sufficiently provable in court. Not sure how helpful the EEOC would be given the current president.
  20. As a practical matter you may never know if you are out there. There are MILLIONS of porn videos out there on the web at this point, and it's not like in a situation like this the person is likely to put your name in it so it's searchable. That doesn't make it any less of a violation but it does diminish the odds that people who know you are going to find it. If you are extremely attractive then I suppose it's more likely that you might find yourself outed, but probably not.
  21. The reality is that figure skating as a pursuit has just about the worst reward to effort ratio out there. It's basically playing the lottery with your entire life.
  22. I will say the only time I saw him(and it was the only time I tried, and was either before or just at the beginning of his starting to no-show) was in the afternoon and I think it was about 2 pm as well. And it was fun.
  23. I'd say at least 20 at this point.
  24. FYI - In the current venue I don't think I've seen anyone use the "private rooms" because the curtains that separate them from the lapdance couches are not opaque so all you're really getting is extra space, not privacy. At peak times I suppose that space may be a consideration.
  25. I didn't say you couldn't. It might be an incentive to have it then.
