News that will bring a tear to the eyes of CoM members
+ sniper replied to samhexum's topic in The Lounge
Another business done in by OnlyFans.... -
A lot of posters don't realize how many identifying details they've let slip over the years, and given the nature of this board, that could have repercussions for their personal or professional life. I would assume that's what's going on here. But if anyone knows him outside the forum, maybe just check in with him to make sure he's ok.

Botox just smoothes wrinkles by paralyzing muscles, won't fix sagging skin.

A full Adonis weekend in LA - February 14 - 15 *MUSCLES!
+ sniper replied to msclwrsper's topic in Male Strip Clubs
There's a bathhouse named Adonis in Vegas that is likely causing some confusion. I checked it out last month during an off-peak time, and they're still building it out, but it kinda has a layout that could be conducive to a Nude Party.... -
Eh, the more recent pic that people are complaining about still looks pretty attractive to me. Did he look better when he was younger? Yes. Does he look good to me now? Also yes. Basically if he is "on," he is a good time. If he's not, he's not. I had two meetings with him, one good, one not good(though he was pleasant and not nasty, just wasn't...up.)

I have absolutely been there. There is a huge sexual no-man's land of too skinny for the chubby chasers, too fat for the body Nazis. My weight has fluctuated a lot over the years and I become visible and invisible to different people along the way.

I think there's a big cohort of Gen X that are "late bloomers" because we came of age at a time when as often as not you found out someone was gay because they died of AIDS. There really wasn't very good HARD data on routes of transmission partly because people were too embarrassed to talk explicitly about what they were doing. So a lot of us figured we'd just stick to our hands. I finally allowed myself to act on it when i was turning 27, about 3 years after the first meds that really worked came out. By then I think almost everyone who knew me assumed I was asexual. It was a few years before I told my college friends. Immediate family must know but we never discuss. Parents are long dead. I don't date because I don't really have the emotional bandwidth for a relationship now due to other family responsibilities that nobody else is stepping up on. That is a bit of a regret but I'm not seeing the circumstances changing any time soon. And by the time they do I suspect I will lack the drive to pursue.

Is Florida real estate bubble about to burst?
+ sniper replied to marylander1940's topic in Personal Finance & Investing
Eh, but some of them ended up sinking faster than expected and causing problems. Luxor in particular has had some issues and I think Mandalay Bay did too. -
I was on the leading edge(late 80s) of the trend of throwing bullshit work into honors classes in the late 80s, and as a senior working 20-30 hours a week, I was exhausted -and pissed I was gettimg knocked down a grade in calculus over homework when everyone who did have the time to do it was copying anyway. They added a lot of nonsense to schoolwork that has zero instructional value but correlates highly with coming from a well-to-do family with parents who have the time to do some of the work for you. And this trend continued unabated....I saw it with my nieces and nephews even in their "regular" classes. The amount of time they spend on stupid art-type projects when they can't tell you to what 7 times 9 is without a goddam calculator while doing their precalc homework is insane.

What amazes me is how many parents get suckered into travel sports teams for 8 year olds.

Outside of a relative handful of jobs that frankly most people of any age simply can't do, entry level wages are down in real terms from 30 years ago despite more of these jobs demanding a college degree. Gen Z didn't do that...the "Silent Generation"(who really don't get the credit they should as villains for setting all this in motion with destroying private pensions and propagating the notion that absolutely nothing other than shareholder return should be a consideration in corporate behavior), Boomers, and Gen X did.

Eh, being in the last quarter/third of my career after having made a conscious choice not to chase the brass ring and stay at the individual contributor level, the corporate BS is thicker than ever these days. Senior execs with zero operational experience wave their hands and break both processes AND the internal talent pipeline with endless reorgs, jacking up their own pay while suppressing wages at the middle and bottom. I had a top performer who got promoted and their raise, the highest percentagewise in their function in the company, was still well under the CPI that year. And this was a year the stock did well. And senior management expresses shock at the results of the employee engagement survey, then demands explanations from managers. Employees not giving a shit is as much the chickens coming home to roost as the deficits of Gen Z. Companies do NOT train people like they used to and wonder why people don't know how to do things or mistakes get made when they cut the number of people to check the work before it goes out the door.

Reality is not all escorts are seeking to maximize total revenue, so setting the price high, while risking fewer clients, can still work out for them. NY has a number of insanely wealthy people for who that amount of money is nothing. So if sex with men is something he doesn't generally want to do in the first place, there's some logic to setting the price high.

RobCMTNY. - Massage Therapy by Rob (NYC/California)
+ sniper replied to + jgkarma's topic in Spas & Masseurs
I would guess in a week or two it's going to say something else. I think he just changes the MF base because there are limits on how many stops he can list in his travels. -
Do it! We need closure!

I think there was a time where "vers top" generally was inderstood to mean orally versatile, top for fucking and a lot of people maintain that definition, even though.the phrasing itself is ambiguous But listing oral and anal as searchable fields is probably a bit too explicit for a website that is straddling the edge of legality already.

When to tell a provider I’m a virgin?
+ sniper replied to Wings246's topic in Questions About Hiring
Yes your first time ideally should be someone you care about blah blah blah but we're already past the point that's likely to happen even if he seeks it out and to be even blunter, the OP is at a stage where he doesn't know how many good physical years he has left. A decent fraction of men develop health issues in their 50s even if they DO live a healthy lifestyle. That aneurysm 20% of people have doesn't give a shit if you exercise and eat right. Do it while you can. -
When to tell a provider I’m a virgin?
+ sniper replied to Wings246's topic in Questions About Hiring
As someone who waited too long and whose first experience was not paid, I think I'd have been better off going the provider route. To put it bluntly, people at the bars aren't looking for a project for the most part. I think it's better to get the monkey off your back and then decide if you want to get in the dating scene. I second the suggestion of starting with massage just to get used to being touched. -
So like how did this start? Was he advertising this service or did you hook up with him first and learn he's a barber? Inquiring minds want to know.

I assumed it was just different verses of the same song. But it was also the show ran for a long time. They were different points in the character's life.

Please DM me the barbershop.

I saw a few porn stars at the Mandalay Bay spa in Vegas on Sunday, but they were leaving as I was coming in so no idea if anything scandalous happened, dammit.

Are we ready for a 'cashless' society ?
+ sniper replied to Ali Gator's topic in Personal Finance & Investing
I generally tip waitstaff in cash and also use cash at small local businesses like my comic shop, where I know it's making a difference to the owner. (Seriously, that character Stuart from the Big Bang Theory was not an inaccurate representation of these guys' financial position...).
