  1. I mean there is potentially some microscopic time window ambiguity in the "and" that could make a case for first, but the most reasonable interpretation of the phrasing is that I am in second place and THEN you pass me. And stuff like this is why writing specifications for computer programmers is often surprisingly challenging.
  2. Newsweek isn't really Newsweek. The company closed up shop and someone else bought the name.
  3. As for whether I could do it myself, I definitely don't think I could be the "take all comers" type, and while I was not unattractive in my youth I wasn't hot enough to be picky. Closest I came was some older guy telling me "you should be up there on stage" when I was standing in the aisle at the Gaiety, and I wondered if that was an inquiry. Then one time on gay.com I got a personal ad response from a NYC doctor couple looking for a houseboy, and they were definitely people I was attracted to, but I didn't see how I'd explain any of that to my family. Plus I had a decent job myself and didn't think the risk of them getting bored in 2-5 years and dumping me was worth the financial risk. If I were a waiter or something I'd probably have given it a go.
  4. With a few exceptions I've generally had better luck with bi/straight-identifying providers. I think the good straight providers are able to just view it as an acting job, or something they are doing for their family to pay the bills, and aren't on some level expecting to enjoy it. Admittedly there are straight guys who are total scammers but I seem to have picked up how to weed them out.
  5. If TSLA traded at Ford's P/E, it would be something like $14 a share. They're not the only game in town any more and I can't see their multiple making sense if they're not. The long rally is the classic case of "the market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent." To be fair, I think the same thing about the market as a whole.
  6. If it's one of those guys with a la carte pricing options and you had agreed to the higher one and he did not provide that level, I think there's room to talk about paying for the option you actually got. If they charge a flat fee, I think you chalk it up as a learning experience and move on. But you always have to read the room. Are they high? Seem erratic/volatile? Hand them the money and gtfo.
  7. Yeah but frankly when it's a rarer niche the provider is in a position to call some shots too. Most providers are not "I will give you precisely what you want no questions" unless the money is REALLY good. You're still dealing with a live person.
  8. Are you insistent that it be a provider experience as opposed to just a hookup? Because there are transmen on both grindr and scruff. The reality is that due to their relative rarity the odds of a, um, custom experience are low anyway. If you're just looking to cross it off your bucket list, you have options.
  9. The article from The Hill that Ali posted, not the one in the OP
  10. Oh the ARTICLE is judging as hell for sure.
  11. Not judging, just observing.
  12. What I'd love to know, but we'll never get, is a break down of where their line is. Like there's the exhibitionist who will jerk off in front of each other. Then the next level will reach over and lend a hand, then the people who will get sucked but not reciprocate, will suck/get sucked but not fuck. Then the people who will top but not bottom, and then the guys who will bottom but not top because all they are into is the prostate stimulation. I think a lot of these guys almost completely dissociate during sex with a man and see that person almost as a blow-up doll and that's why they resist the bisexual label. Because they're using a personal definition.
  13. This sort of thing really does put a crimp in my houseboy/ caretaker retirement plans.
  14. I mean, the whole reason there is a subset of gays who hit on every man they see without any indication of orientation is that a decent percent of the time(assuming the person doing the propositioning is reasonably attractive), it works.
  15. Dude, he was fishing for a blow job from you. Or just jerking you around to blow off work.
  16. Trying to steer clear of political, but societally, I think he just happens to be on the leading edge of something that's coming and it's going to get a lot worse before it gets better. There have been a lot of people on edge for a number of years now. And there's a reason these billionaires are building bunkers. Increase the stress on a hundred million people, a few thousand are gonna snap badly, statistically speaking And that's not saying it's going to come from one "side of the aisle" or other because there's a random element to it. The economic middle has hollowed out in this country due to uncertainty- i.e. live in a nice house but do not have the savings to keep it if they're out of work for even a few months - and a LOT of people are closer than they realize to having nothing left to lose.
  17. Pretty sure Luigi is held in higher regard than those other guys there.
  18. It's also frankly harder to keep the secret these days.
  19. I could be seeing selection bias at the gym I suppose because many totally straight guys let themselves go. And the bi married guys have added motivation to go to the gym because the locker room/steam/sauna is the only place their wives can't find them.
  20. I played for a few years on a gay rugby team that played in the regular "straight" league. I found that in general, the straight teams seemed to do a LOT more "gay" stuff than then gay team. Getting naked at the drinkups, making out.etc. which made me wonder what I'd missed out on by not joining my college team...
  21. This. I'm out in the burbs and there's something in the water in the town my gym is in because I swear every last married dad in that gym is down low bi. Not necessarily acting on it, mind you, but checking each other out etc. I thought it was pretty well-established that in prolonged all-male environments something like 35-40% of guys will play. Just most of them don't talk about it. Hell, when I was younger these guys almost seemed to develop selective mutism when they played. Forget telling you their name, they couldn't even say what they wanted to do.
  22. Billy on MF but it's not like a gentle table shower kind of scrub it's one of those exfoliating salt scrubs. I have sensitive skin and I basically tapped out.
  23. See I was thinking "Packages" with the staff in UPS garb...

    Coolwave

I sorta feel like perhaps we've strayed into talking about him a little inappropriately. Maybe the thread should be closed and edited by the mods with something like "people were concerned about Coolwave's absence, but he is fine, just left the forum for now." Oooh...we could setup a new subforum called "The Milk Carton" where the thread title is a poster's handle and a status could be left...
