  1. Ok - in various threads here, organized scams (operated by several people at the same time) are being reported in NYC, Dallas, Seattle, DC & parts of California. seems to be alot of similarities in the type profiles & methods. there have always been scams in provider world - but not this many and not simultaneously being reported
  2. the same type scam is happening in New York - providers with multiple profiles across multiple platforms and even multiple profiles on a single platform. frequent name changes and common elements in all profiles. usually very muscular guys. appears organized in small groups working together be very careful with any of these new unknown people.
  3. this happens all the time in the US. and for whatever reason - Americans think others are interested in their opinions and typically don’t hesitate to go there with complete strangers. It’s an obsession with many these days. watching way too much television and/or consuming political content online to the point of being brainwashed. and btw - they’re rarely interested in a discussion with anyone with different opinions. They just want to express their opinion & whatever talking points they absorbed in the last 24 hours. It’s both sides - doesn’t matter party affiliation or viewpoint. Thus, the extreme partisanship destroying family relationships and long-term friendships.
  4. a professional provider initiating any sort of controversial subject conversation isn’t the sharpest tack. they don’t know how the client will react, so why do it ? there’s really no upside and lots of potential downside. a smart providers objective is to build a book of dependable clients that will hire & pay on a regular basis. why risk alienating someone with those type conversations? this has never happened to me in many years hiring. My experience is vast majority of successful providers are skilled at reading the client and acting accordingly. if that happened to me, I’d tell the person immediately that I didn’t hire them for a political or religion conversation. And if it persisted, that would end the appointment without the full fee or tip. If it happened at the end, I’d just not contact that person again and show them the door asap. if the client brings up those topics - well, then they asked for it. my general feeling is it’s my paid time & my rules. not complicated
  5. completely forgot about that thread - yes, it’s real & does exist. my husband hits it every single time. providers - a few & they tend to be Brazilian haven’t had a tongue do it - and Bulging Angel has always looked interesting to me.
  6. from my own experience the world over, but especially in Western Europe - it’s considered rude & extremely poor taste to discuss anything political in a social situation. It really doesn’t happen because most everyone understands it’s not the time or place. And they seldom hold a political party affiliation as key part of their identity. In the US, politics is a very common topic in any social situation. It’s rare to avoid it completely. And Americans loudly broadcast their party affiliation in any number of ways. For many Americans this is a key part of who they are. And that’s the entire problem. and due to the quirks of the US electoral system (which isn’t real democracy anyway) - you only have “influence” in national elections if you live in a handful of swing states. If you don’t live in a swing state - your vote means very little in national context, meaning Presidency and all of the policy that flows from that.
  7. many people are leaving the US for other reasons - not just about costs. the overall environment is very toxic with nonstop political stuff from all sides. who wants to be surrounded by that in retirement ? I’ve witnessed several older family members waste years being addicted to politics, angry & bitter. now they’re dead. what good did it do them ? nothing - and it didn’t change one thing. not an uncommon story these day.
  8. actually all of that is believable. somebody with that much exposure and a long list of contacts does’t need an RM ad to find a high-roller. It’s the opposite - it looks desperate. so, either it wasn’t him. or, he was in need of quick cash that just happened to coincide with timing of his “associate” getting raided by FBI & arrested. these guys are in it for the money & however they can make it. I’m sure Wolf wasn’t just randomly “exchanging” video gratis with whomever. He was getting paid.
  9. Reno Gold RM ad is long gone. interesting to note his ad suddenly appeared after the FBI raid at Austin Wolfs apartment and disappeared before the arrest he is a close associate of Wolf. other creators saying more arrests coming a coincidence?
  10. Presumably, the client wants the provider to pose as BF to impress his friends in that case, he needs better friends & not a fake BF
  11. if you can’t find readily available information here (and elsewhere), that’s the first indication Rio is not for you btw - it’s been the same 2 saunas for the last 25 years. with a an occasional third that never seems to last long. and going on “the best night/best times” means more competition for the garotos with the local clients who have relationships w the working guys. not ideal for tourists imo
  12. no. move-on. whoever is on receiving end, should consider himself lucky he didn’t have to waste time w that person
  13. Thanks @BeamerBikes & @JamesB - very helpful suggestions. I will start using Apple password manager asap.
  14. was alerted by an app that were multiple attempts to change the password from the app. it couldn’t be completed as they require a code to verify that they send by text. so, they had access to the app, but couldn’t get control of it. I went through an airport early morning & it started to happen later that day. did not connect to airport wifi - but my wifi and Bluetooth were probably open as I connected w inflight wifi and used Bluetooth for headset connection. forgot to turn both off when the plane landed. my assumption is it happened at airport, but could it have been inflight ? phone has latest IOS update i don’t use password manager for all apps, but do use difficult passwords & update frequently. that phone did not have VPN, but now it does. ive read open Bluetooth can be a problem too ? Is it worthwhile to run a virus checker ? or install additional anti-hacker security apps ?
  15. he’s not the first & far from the last. there’s a few of them here gassing up a small group of ny providers - a little less obvious than this one tho isn’t it just easier to do the actual job than spend time scamming, lying & cheating ?
  16. so, it looks like my IPhone was hacked in an airport. Seems like they only got into one app & the credentials on that app have been changed. Also changed Apple ID password as a precaution and I have 2-factor authorization on all devices. Also added VPN to all devices and deleted all old apps & limited tracking functions. I’m interested in thoughts from the tech-savvy in the forum - I’d like more suggestions how to enhance mobile and at-home digital security. the hacked phone was an older IPhone (about 5 years old) and I only use it when traveling. I always do the updates when offered. Does the age or model of the phone affect the security ? Seems like hacking is happening more & more. First time for me
  17. TripAdvisor responses from hotels & restaurants make perfect sense now !
  18. tbh - I would avoid any Brazilian escort/massage therapist w new provider profile last couple of years. Unless, an established member here has experienced their services personally & verified. There’s a gang of them in NYC w multiple profiles/names, fake reviews & same type pics. Proceed w caution - they aren’t in it for repeat clients btw - I know many Brazilian providers in the US & abroad. the only problem place is in New York
  19. And the pattern is called “Hot Mess” or “Desastre Completo”
  20. whenever a provider says “baby” - it’s an instant boner killer and there’s a 99% chance I would not hire that person again. there is one exception to that and he’s a 6’4” Argentino
  21. friend - you quoted the wrong person. I have never contacted you or experienced your “massage” services. my one comment in this thread was about massage therapists in general. while you have the right to continue your comments here - it doesn’t make you look good. It’s the opposite
  22. chalk it up as a learning experience & do not contact the provider next time you want to spend $3k+ on an extended date, go to Barcelona for a long weekend (it’s doable) and you’ll have your pick of handsome providers from around the world. There’s no place else that offers relative security/safety and has the variety of providers at reasonable rates. as a US domestic alternative- hourly only & anywhere but New York City I wouldn’t do anything with a provider before sex that may impair his performance - no food, alcohol or anything else. I save the small-talk for after, even if I know him. In multi-hour appointments, I look for fireworks in Hour 1. I don’t like overnights, so 3 hours is my max. I wouldn’t ever travel for a specific provider bc it’s too much expectation tied up in one person - I’d suggest selecting a destination based on volume of providers & ease of hiring for better opportunities. get back in the saddle asap !
  23. interesting to note that after the FBI raid on his apartment - he continued to create/post & publicize sexual content w “young” performers (his words), do public events and didn’t take down any of his accounts. very odd behavior given he knew what was coming. not changing his behavior post-raid may have had something to do with pre-trial detention now. and it’s worth mentioning that he was very public re: his interest in young performers - frequently filming with them & posting the videos online; the assumption being that while the performers looked young, they were of legal age. that’s very different from how he concealed his identify to exchange actual child porn using an encrypted app. it will be interesting to see where this case goes. sure looks like the prosecutors have a bigger target in mind.
  24. agree and these type crimes involve other people - there were the people who produced the content and bought the content. and he sent the content across state-lines and internationally. according to the United States Attorney’s Press Release, he’s charged with “distributing & receiving” over a 4-day period in March 2024 only. the single charge may be an inducement to get him to flip & cooperate - that’s how it usually works if they’re trying to shut down an organized group. the SDNY isn’t after a single person in this context and then there are the separate crimes of his tendency to record people without their knowledge or consent & distributing/monetizing those videos all of this is against a backdrop where people are saying this was all an open secret in the industry there is more to the story for sure - and it won’t get better for Wolf and his associates/accomplices
