The time I spent with him in Philly was fun in and out of bed - I would have liked having him as a friend. Alain had investment and financial goals to secure his growing family's future. I'm guessing he met those goals earlier than expected and is now able to focus on his family and his primary career without worrying about money. He's a smart guy who was able to monetize his assets without falling victim to the temptations of the lifestyle. Good on him.

I just wrapped up a three-night stay in Montreal over the weekend. Beautiful weather the entire time. The Village was alive and well. I went to Stock Bar all three nights (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and as one would expect in the summer, Stock was very busy. I spent most of my time enjoying the company of Tyler, Franco, Zack, Tommy & Tyson. Tyson was probably the biggest guy of the group I hung out with. However, there is another guy Calvin who is actually bigger. Calvin has been on the dancer scene in Montreal for probably 7-8 years. Still looks great(He's not even 30 yet) and seems to be a really friendly guy. There is some newer international talent at Stock as well. A couple of Italians: Cristiano and another whose name I missed. Both overly tattooed. Two newer Latinos also: Karamelo from Brazil and Miguail (That's how the Stock website spells it) from Mexico. They do a duo dance show that is very good and they are both quite well-hung.

Overall, a great time was had by all!! Oh....and I got my smoked meat fix at Reuben's Restaurant close to the Sheraton. So good.

Weekend of June 13th was lots of fun, despite the lousy weather. Overcast, 60s and rain on and off Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Thank goodness Sunday was nice, because we took one of the Montreal Food Tours again. Our tour guide Adam was amazing, AND easy on the eyes. If you'd not taken one of these tours, I highly recommend. Got a Jr. Suite at the Gouverneur. Love the location.

Went to our usual favorite eating spots. Spent every evening at Campus. Wide variety of entertaining men. Some BIG muscle studs. My favorites were this 6'5" , 18 year old blonde BUILT young man that can really work that pole. Awesome dancer and a very nice private. What a sweetheart. Rico, HUGE part Brazilian, Tats and an amazing smile. Also a great dancer and fun. Young guy named Jimmy (I think), most recently working at Taboo. Very sexy and LOTS of fun. Can't wait until the next trip.

Just wrapping up a nice four-day visit to Montreal. I arrived on Saturday morning and am at the airport now to head home. I went to Stock on Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday nights....and to Campus only on Monday since Stock is closed on Mondays.

Being Memorial Day weekend, Stock was packed on Saturday. Lots of tourists from the US visiting. Anyway, a great selection of dancers available for fun at Stock: Body builder Franco. Sexy new body builder dancer Zack. Huge-cocked Tyler. Smaller Asian body builder Kid has returned as has daytime construction worker Dave. Honduran cutie Enrique is back as well. Clearly he has been spending lots of time at the gym during his time away from
Stock. Lot's of fun all three nights. Good to see Stock particularly well-attended by customers on Saturday and to somewhat lesser of an extent on Sunday. Stock has re-opened the back-bar by the shower-show area. It was closed for about 4 months during the slower winter period.

Campus was surprisingly busy with customers on Monday night. It was not packed but it had a steady stream of customers coming and going during my 3-hour stay. Only four dancers working on Monday night which is probably to be expected for a Monday. Three of the dancers were totally forgettable...at least for me. Other customers were taking them back for lap-dances but I wasn't the least bit interested in them. Thankfully, the forth dancer was a gorgeous, masculine muscle stud. He seemed totally out of place at Campus compared to the other dancers. He is JC and I have never seen him before. A real body-builder who competed in a competition on Saturday (as did several other Stock current or former dancers). JC says he has two daytime jobs so he dances inconsistently due to his work schedule. Anyway, we did some lap dances. It was well worth it. I hope others get a chance to see him sometime. I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually moves to Stock. I think he would be a better fit there. For me, Campus has a somewhat seedy vibe which JC doesn't really fit into with his stellar looks. What body. Those calves! Those glutes! That chest! Those arms! and a handsome face to match. He is a local but speaks excellent English.

Even though it was rather cool for part of the weekend in Montreal, the village is coming alive for the summer period. Nice to see.
Anyway, I only ate at one Village restaurant during my stay. I went to Mozza Pates et Passions on Tuesday night. I've been several times before and it is my favorite in the village. It has Italian food with a bit of a French flair. Mostly pastas as main courses. All meals come with a small Caesar salad to start followed by an appetizer. You can choose between the minestrone soup, the appetizer of the day, or the escargot of the day. I always go for the escargot….which is delicious. The place is always crowded with locals even when other village restaurants have few patrons. A little bit pricey but worth the extra cost. It's BYOB so be sure to bring your own wine if you want to imbide.

The entire city seems to be under construction starting with the road in from the airport. During my Saturday taxi from the airport to downtown, part of the freeway is actually completely closed so there had to be a lengthy detour to get into town. Also, all over downtown there is road and building construction.

Update on boardwalk: I stopped in Saturday night. They are under new ownership, and they are taking steps to turn it around. They are doing remodeling where currently they took out the third dance station (a box, lol) and the cage. It pretty much looks like Hitler's bunker after the war, but give them credit for trying to stay open and upgrade at same time. Luckily, they still have bartenders Felipe and Roger. The dancers are starting to look a lot better, especially if you like Latin men. One in particular, Lester a Cuban (I guess they have too many Carlos' dancing there), worked me like an old lady works a slot machine spending her retirement check. The difference is I paid off. I never seen that much energy in a dancer, lol.
All in all, it looks like a positive move.

LD19847 reacted to EZEtoGRU in Quick Weekend Visit to Montreal
I did a quick weekend visit to Montreal. Just got back to home today. I visited Stock on both Saturday and Sunday nights. Very busy on Saturday night....it was SRO. Quite a few new dancers since I was last there. Stock is going for more of a mix of dancer types now. I don't think they want muscle guys exclusively. There are quite a few swimmer body types now. Anyway it was a fun night. Nonstop shows. Handsome dancers.

Sunday was a bit quieter at Stock but still busy. Between the two nights, I spent time enjoying the company of Franco, Milton, and new dancer Tyler. All great guys, smart, and lots of fun.

Its worth mentioning that on Saturday night, I left Stock Bar at 1:15am and headed over to Campus to see what was happening there. Stock was still very busy when I left. Campus was completely dead. No dancers on stage and only about 15 customers in the club. Quite surprising for a Saturday night. I'm not sure what that was all about. I had half a beer and left.

The weather in Montreal was still warm and summer-like. It was in the 80's both days and mid 60's at night. Perfect. I was told they had a very warm summer and no hint of autumn yet. I'm sure that will change soon. October is only two weeks away now.

Just returned from Canada Day weekend in Montreal, with long summer days and very high temperatures day and night.

I'll admit to having had some reservations about this trip. I knew that long time favorites like Yannick would not be at Stock and Spencer performs very rarely.

Thursday at Stock was extremely quiet. Saturday was typically very busy. Friday and Sunday were both moderately busy.

There were lots of new dancers. Morgan was very good at working the crowd on stage. Franco's physique is phenomenal. Had private dances with Jaycob and Rico. Sadly, I didn't see Chris all weekend, who I missed having a dance with last year.

Joe has stopped dancing, but is now working for the club as staff and seems very happy with his new job.

I didn't have time to visit Campus, but recognized a lot of former Stock dancers hanging around outside.

The real takeaway from the trip was it looks like The Village has really turned a corner.

A few years ago The Village really looked like it was in a state of permanent decline. Last year's new openings Bar Renard and District Video lounge are going strong. There were a lot of new shops and restaurants that I didn't recognize from last year. A new diner La Dînette à Mado has opened next to Cabaret Mado. There's still a lot of vacant real estate but it isn't as noticeable.

The old Bourbon complex has now been demolished and the condo building that will replace it is marketing for pre-sales:

Stock has evolved somewhat in the last year. They seem to have more variety with their dancers....including some very skinny guys. I prefer the alpha muscle types myself...but I’m ok with more variety in the dancers if that helps make the club more viable.

Incredible montreal visit! Stock had great dancers - franco is massive all over and a great guy, morgan is one to definately see as well as charles. Kid has thick thighs for a short guy but hot. Bryce is new, so be gentle lol, simon is cute and milton has a body to die for. And, don't forget marco who sports clark kent glasses and killer pole moves.

Over at campus, my favorite is ron a killer body and hot as hell. You have oliver, daniel, travis, thierry and lenko. Once you get past 10 pm, the beef starts to arrive.

Either way, you can't go wrong unless you hit ladies night, which you should avoid like the plague! I have never seen so many short and fat "ladies" who wear more make up than your average Drag Race contestant. Once they get drunk, they screech and become loud. They definately ruin an evening.

Side note: why do gay guys bring "women" to gay bars?

Montreal has a long "anything goes" history that dates back to the era of Prohibition in the United States.

A question for StockBar: Do you have any plans to upgrade the website to a secure https connection?

I note the link to sign up to join is not a secure connection and Google is to soon mark up websites that don't use https as "not secure".

I appreciate this is a relatively unexciting topic but online security is important!
