  1. From HuffPost.... “DTF St. Louis” is one of the top shows on HBO Max right now. The dark dating-app drama follows a strange love triangle between three suburban adults — Jason Bateman, David Harbour and Linda Cardellini — grappling with midlife malaise. When one of them turns up dead, a murder investigation begins to unravel hidden secrets that reveal something far more sinister was going on among the trio. The show also stars Richard Jenkins, Joy Sunday, Arlan Ruf, Peter Sarsgaard and Chris Perfetti. The article has a YouTube video embedded but it spills too much IMO.
  2. Consent is an important part of it right? A little dialogue can help. "I love that" or "Oh that feels good" both seem clear enough for whatever he might be up to. Might it also be helpful to simultaneously part your thighs a bit when he lightly grazes your inner thighs and lets his fingers touch down there?
  3. Maybe dating a Kardashian takes ones IQ down a notch.
  4. I assume a generous tip helps these young men a lot. I agree with the response above for guidance. Perhaps look at the going rates on Rentmasseur for more ideas how to level up the amount. I don't know how much the spa takes, but I keep in mind they do get a portion.
  5. I tread lightly if a brand new member messages me for the deets on a masseur, or if they have not joined the threads much. I might respond "are you're new here?" and then give a careful response. As far as bad (false) reviews, I check their comment history and compare. As stated above, use "critical thinking" and remember "YMMV".
  6. Is anyone watching DTF St. Louis? A 7-episode whodunit on HBO. I like Jason Bateman (Ozark) and David Harbour (Stranger Things) a lot. Remember Harbour in Brokeback Mountain? 😉 The music is cool, soundtrack on Spotify.
  7. Looks I'll receive $31 per share when the deal closes. I hate to see the HBO brand change hands.
  8. Jacob Tierney offers great comments at GLAAD Media awards, including about Norman Lear executive producing Boots and Clean Slate. Also, about Crave and HBO. And more.
  9. I would repeat. Good guy.
  10. Some folks are never happy about something or other no matter how well done the performance, while other folks' nature is to nitpick, and act like they qualify as a critic. That one of the biggest criticisms of Heated Rivalry is Kip's physique was too developed for a smoothie barista is a reminder how whiny and absurd people on the Internet can be. My critique is that creators put their heart and soul into producing good work. It's their job and they try to do their best. That people spend time pointing fingers at their work is something they might want to think twice about. I would ask if wanting to win their argument that SNL sucks or Kip's body is not believable is time well spent. In the worst case, the people that did the work read all the negativity. In cases where a film or TV show does fall short, we could be mindful of that. Last, for Heated Rivalry there is so much one can celebrate. That is why I come to this thread.
  11. That's Parker Posey. ❤️ Coming to TubiTV. Happy Purim
  12. Overall I enjoyed the show. Great music. Connor was perfect. Yeah one of the skits was weird but Connor still executed. I'm sure he'll be invited back in the future for his next big acting gig.
  13. Here is a relatively recent vlog from his LA condo. It's worth watching to the end. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZThnv9mpj/ More .. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZThnv3wKB/ Same if you like Insta instead.. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C8FhkldPLAy/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
  14. Circling back to the Olympics and Heated Rivalry, Connor Storrie hosted SNL tonight. Members of the USA men's and women's gold medal teams appeared alongside Connor. Hudson Williams made a surprise appearance. Was pretty good. 👍🏻
  15. I have a scan of a family photo, sent to me by a distant relative, asking if possible to correct some flaws. The original photo was slightly blurred, possibly from age. There is also a spot where the photo was rubbed. The photo has sentimental value so I want to try. Here is my question. Has anyone had success digitally correcting images? Any recommended applications? The first one I found was an on line service, but after some due diligence they sounded a bit sketchy. My search also returned Adobe Photoshop and another called Canva. I have not investigated these yet.
  16. Did not know they were related. Loved Eydie Gorme. Sedaka continued posting video clips on line until very recently, including hosting another popular vlogger inside his lovely residence. He talked about writing songs and recalled he was surprised how, among his songs, Connie Francis did his Stupid Cupid. He also wrote Where the Boys Are.
  17. He wrote a lot of hits. I admired Neil Sedaka a lot. https://www.huffpost.com/entry/neil-sedaka-singer-songwriter-60s-70s-dies_n_69a21ae6e4b03f5cc1b40750 Another great talent that came out of Brooklyn. Image from the HuffPost article.
  18. I'm curious how the series will adapt the novel. Wouldn't surprise me if they jettison that entire Italy story, with how few episodes most productions offer nowadays. What I meant by comparing Paul to Elio is how too often they failed to understand what was going on inside another person's head. They assumed wrong.
  19. If you like D.O. you might like Episode 1 of Weird City in YouTube.
  20. Based on the novel by Andre Aciman, about the life of complex character Paul. His mental hijinks reminded me of Elio Perlman. I was excited Jeremy Allen White was cast to play Paul. He seemed perfect. But just recently White exited the production. Timothee Chalamet fans are clamoring for him. I don't see that. Mike Faist could work. He has excelled playing similar dramatic characters.
  21. 👆 @MikeBiDude My parents did the same, and I have a friend even now that adds a small spoon of evaporated milk.
  22. Yes. USA beat Slovakia today for the other spot.
  23. The Olympic Milano Santagiulia Ice Hockey Arena includes a stadium organ. Watching the game today, I noticed the organ medley playing included the refrain from All the Things She Said, on a loop. This is not enough This is not enough I know hockey arenas in many places play All the Things She Said. That the Olympic venue joined the homage to Heated Rivalry was extra cool. 👏🏻 The men's gold medal game will be on Sunday. It may seem apropos for Heated Rivalry fans that Canada will compete in the gold medal match.
