I realize you don't care, but this assumption is offensive. I have no interest in getting off via conversations in text or on the phone. My interactions are a means to an in-person end...with the right providor. You've made this accusation before, and your contempt for your clients is evident. I can see why you insist on a deposit in advance.

Not that I ever saw Patrick Bogan, but I remember his profile well. He used to work with Jamie Ansaloni who I saw several times. 

As the person who founded this event some 20 years ago, I would like to express an opinion. We recently lauded @Oliver for reaching the age of 90, and it was an opportunity for us to show our respect and affection for him. It is with that respect and affection that I suggest he turn the next Weekend over to someone else. Oliver can attend without any responsibilities and simply enjoy himself. @purplekow  has expressed an interest in handling the next event and did a good job of ascertaining how much interest there is in the next one. A lot, it seems.
If my suggestion doesn't go over well with Oliver, then perhaps he can make it a joint project with purplekow, who is based in Palm Springs. Many people will invest time and money in making it to Palm Springs, and we all want the event to go without any problems. Having two people working together ensures continuity.
There, that's my opinion.

I think he was annoyed that you were messaging him just to say basically Hi I hope I can hire you sometime. I think it's best to wait to reach out when there is a true intent to book a session.

No one knows who or what you talk about. Gather yourself and please explain.

I have had several providers flake on me as well so it cuts both ways 

I recently had such an experience on sniffies. We were talking and he invited me over to his place. As we walked into his bedroom, he suggested that the mood is not there and that I should leave.
I didn’t think too much about it. Albeit I was a bit frustrated and thought I was undesirable when I came out of his apartment, my spirituality training kicked in and stopped the cycle of negative self talk. The other party might have had a lot of reasons to do that, which is none of our business. I learned to respect and accept rejection better, and there is still a looooong way to go.

Listen I love this group, you guys are amazing, but please do not share my PRIVATE MESSAGES with masseurs you meet. A few months ago, I met a regular client who said to me "did you post something on this forum that was negative?" I said what are you talking about. He said he met a client who SHOWED HIM MY RESPONSE to a message about his work. I was shocked. I said " don't have clue and if it was negative then why am I here?" Please be careful with what is shared here. Private messages should remain so. No mad just concerned.

Solid D-. I was hopeful given the profile. Everything from setting up the session, never getting the exact address (literally used objects and landmarks to direct me to the front door), having to wait 15min in my car, after our start time, while he got ready. Then to find the environment didn't look like much preparation or thought was given to create a relaxing space. Pics are outdated, and his skill is nonexistent. Splashing oil and rubbing it around with no real direction or sense of muscle manipulation. Not sexy. Cut my session short, paid half. Waste of time and money. 

I doubt you'll find anyone with more than one dick.  Let alone 8 of them.

Exactly, they have a right to quote any fee they want, just like we have a right to conclude that it’s ridiculous and stop the conversation.  I know what the median range in NYC is and will simply not engage with anyone who quotes a rate significantly higher than that.
