Twink getting muscular may have happened but these guys also evolved in otter. LOL.  Geography might play a role in who bottoms or tops.  In Los Angeles/ Southern California almost all the guys no matter their physical stature are bottoms.  I enjoy both bottom and top positions.  When I go on dates in LA or out I am almost always a top because the other guy is insistent on bottom position.

Very interesting thread and topic!    I love car negotiations.    I actually just joined a new gym,   the first time in my adult life I changed gyms and it was what I call a "car negotiation.    I trade cars frequently and especially with the value of trade ins  recently,  I love to see what I can get.      A few things I'd recommend:
1.Know your facts about the car you want and if you are trading,   what you will take for the trade.
    2. Don't limit yourself to local dealers.   While I live in Kansas,  my latest Camaro came from St. Joseph,  MO  and my Jeep Gladiator came from Tulsa,  OK.    I've purchased care i Missouri,  Oklahoma,  Arkansas and other states.   Some dealerships don't want to "play games"  as they put it and won't negotiate on your terms or level.   Screw them and cross them off the list and move forward.    You will always find someone who will negotiate with you.     They might be willing to come down from the MSRP,  but they will screw you with the trade in allowance.   You must balance everything,   taxes paid,  trade in cost basis,   what they will give you to drive to them.     I usually get $300-$500  for travel.    I also like to look if I'm in other cities,  seeing escort clients.
If you are dedicated and serious,  it works well.    Don't take your eye off the ball and always be ready to head for the door if they aren't being fair or above board.    That happened in Little Rock,  Arkansas.    More often than not,   you will hear,    "Wait a minute".....

    Good advice from @BenjaminNicholas

You may be disappointed by the dealer’s unwillingness to negotiate. Buying a pickup? Sure they will negotiate. Buying an SUV or hybrid? Not so much.

You can try to visit multiple dealerships mid month and express interest, leave your number and perhaps the salesman will call you end of month with a (tiny) offer so they can make their sales quota.

You can also wait until May when the next year’s model is announced and pick up the current year model for a small discount.

Dont tell them you are paying cash - they make more money on financing, so express interest in that.

    You mean the Lexus NX350h.
First, use the industry Black Book (not Blue Book) to see what a dealer has paid for the car wholesale.  That's where you start negotiations.
Don't let a salesperson know too much, too quickly- They'll ask if you're leasing, financing or a cash buyer.  Don't set this in stone until you get a price you agree with.
Never buy the first visit to the dealer.
Always be prepared to get up and walk out.
And if you walk out, make sure you leave with the salesperson's final price quote on the car (drive-out price) and that he has your phone number.
End of the month is always better to buy than early or mid.
Bottom line, you don't really negotiate.  You wait them out until they hit the (realistic) number you want.  If the model isn't a massive seller, you're more likely to win playing the long game if you can stand it.
Note:  Don't try this with a Porsche.  I learned that the hard way.

Thanks for this preview. I think it might be exciting to have another review option than just RM, where I post reviews almost monthly about my encounters with providers. I am a great believer in posting and reading reviews.
I think you have missed a few points RM provides about their providers ( and client profiles as well) namely safe sex practices (3 options), health status and drug use. All are important considerations no matter where you personally stand on such issues. What's important is knowing what to expect so as a client you can be guided accordingly.
Anyway keep up the good work. Will be interested in seeing your results.

Also to give you an idea about what this might look like when we're done...  this is a mockup I've made of how I think this is going to turn out when finished.
All of the item info would be on the left hand side... such as Contact Info, Personal Info, etc.  The reviews themselves would be on the right side.

An observation, sure, but it's also an escort's personal preference.
I went through this myself.  At some point, I was no longer really interested in bottoming.
I built my body up to what it is now and my clients no longer saw/see me as fuckable, but the guy who doles out the fuck.
Embrace the change.  Lean into the curve.

At least in the late 90s and early 2000s when I lived in NYC, it was pretty much the same there. I used to call it "Bottomland" (not a critique). Same thing with me, I used to call myself an "existential top". Not that I was complaining, but the vast majority of the guys I dated or hooked up with were bottoms, some quite strict about it. Even one or two of those guys who can't shut up about being tops, I ended up shutting their "not exactly their mouths".

LA market has seen a price drop with new masseurs entering market.  There are also a lot of masseurs who take good pictures and think they have skills but cannot do anything.  Some guys in LA also live only in gay world even for all work avenues.  Having a larger economic perspective by applying for a job on LinkedIn would give many masseurs a realistic financial perspective.

Traveling guys may differ from normal. They tend to have a captive audience depending on where they’re going and how long they’re staying. If few good options are normally available in a given market, that can drive up demand, and with it, prices.
When I travel, I keep my prices constant and have no lack of appointments filling my schedule from morning to night. At least twice as many same day requests I have to turn down because I’m booked. I could easily charge more based on that high demand but I prefer having plenty of others ready and willing to snatch an appointment when someone else cancels or no-shows. Pricing is not a barrier to seeing me as much as availability is, so I fill in those spots very quickly with same day requests. Suddenly people get a lot less picky about start time when there’s one spot left, take it or leave it.
$200+ for (1) hour of *actual* massage is bonkers. At that rate bracket, I would expect a lot of extras, rip-off schemes, unskilled massages, time shorting, or other unprofessional shenanigans. I charge $195 for 90 mins and it’s truly an excellent massage.
My 60 min massage is $140. A lot of other pro masseurs hover between $120-$160. Much more than that and something is not right. Either that, or you’re getting much more than massage and you’re paying for it. Which is fine by the way, it’s just not fair to compare with regular massage sessions. It’s a different service. Apples and oranges.
I acknowledge local markets differ. NYC, LA, SF and others will naturally be much higher across the board.

After some inflation, noticing a good number of masseurs dropping their rates back down? I think they’re starting to realize that most aren’t willing to pay $200+ for a 60min rub.

Well, I was one of the first in line, and I've now been using it for about a week. This thing is glimpse of the future. There is a lot about it that is simply amazing, but it is definitely a "1.0" product, with its share of shortcomings and lots of room for improvement. I'm old enough to remember when the original Mac was introduced, and of course the iPhone. In both cases, there were many naysayers, but each of these ultimately changed the world. I'm pretty sure that the importance of this is on the same scale.
Right out of the gate, there are already some questionable assumptions and misinformation. Let me address a couple of these...
That's a real concern, and, in my opinion, an issue I'd take very seriously with Meta/Facebook, Google, or Amazon. Their business models are all about monetizing the data they collect about you and your behavior. Although Apple builds their products with an eye toward locking you into their ecosystem, they take privacy very seriously and their success is based largely on maintain users' trust in those privacy safeguards. Although they get a lot of criticism for their "walled garden" approach, it largely prevents rogue developers from abusing users' privacy. I do some development work, and I can tell you first hand that the privacy-based limitations can be frustrating, and ultimately prevent some interesting possible applications. Apple severely restricts the information that applications can use. For example, a Vision Pro application can't tell what you're looking at until you actually interact with it, and can't directly access the cameras at all.
Like all of the other Apple products, there is plenty of porn available. Generally, they won't allow porn apps on the App Store, but there are no restrictions on the content you can access through a web browser. PornHub, OnlyFans, Rentmen, you name it.
