The very best of all Honolulu masseurs is not on the list - IAN. There are threads on here about Ian. I have sang his praises. I was fortunate to have experienced Ian's massage when he visited NYC a couple of times a year. An outstanding massage like none other from a gorgeous, sexy guy with an Aussie accent. His body reminded me of a Greek statue - he was that perfect. I truly miss him.

I think you’re thinking of the old A Different Light bookstore. It’s had a few incarnations since then and is now called Fabulosa Books.

The Midnight Sun is a bar. I used to go there a lot as a young buck. It was remodeled a decade or so ago but I haven’t been there. Maybe they’d have gogo dancers? I’m not sure, but it would be worth checking out. Perhaps a gogo dancer scouting night is in order!

So sorry for your loss. I imagine that the picture used by his family had been framed by him and hung somewhere special in his home. Or perhaps kept in his wallet. In any case close to his heart.
Hopefully it gives you some comfort knowing you were on the other side of the camera and he was looking at you.

Today is the birthday of one of my favorite escorts, he would be 42...
I saw on Facebook on Friday, October 14 that his Memorial service was that afternoon, and I did not know anything of it. The picture his family used was actually a picture I had taken of him at my home. I searched the obituaries and saw that he actually died in August 2022. I have no idea of the cause of death.
It had been about 12 years since we were actually together, but we had managed to keep in touch. During my hiring time with him, in addition to the regular sessions, I had also taken him on three trips with me, plus I also remember flying him to Miami to join me a couple of times. He wasn't a successful escort, but he and I managed to stick it out for about 5 years or so until he moved back to his home in Brooklyn. I knew his mother and his brother and had spoken to her on the phone a few times. She passed away a couple of years ago and I am so happy she did not have to bury one of her children. When he would come to visit, he is the only escort I had no problem leaving him at my home alone while I went to work, I actually would give him a key in case he needed to step out and never had a thought of the safety of my home while gone. He had a beautiful caring heart and could see and respect goodness in people.
When he moved back to Brooklyn, it was difficult to keep in touch with him as he wasn't a social media guy and like so many guys, he changed cell phone numbers so many times, I would not know which number to start calling. Now that his escorting life was over, I knew that when he wanted to talk, he would call me, and then our conversations would flow like we had been together just a few days before.
Happy birthday _______________, I will always remember you and the wonderful times we spent together. Love you!

I have always gotten a small bag of candy; usually no one rings the bell as my porch light is on and I live in a decent hood. However, last night I had one kid to come by, first one in years. That simple thing made me happy!

Yes, most companies either offer vacation + sick days (vacation always being pre-planned and sick days being just that) OR offer PTO - which can be used however an employee wishes.
PTO works well for many reasons:
    1)  Employees do not need to lie about being sick to take an unplanned day.
    2)  Employees who never use sick days don't feel they get the short end of the stick by working 10 more days a year than their co-workers who used all of their sick days.
    3)  Employees who have sick relatives are able to allocate more PTO days to 'sick day' purposes than was traditionally allocated.
    4)  As mentioned earlier, it is an easier process for the employer to administer one pool of time off versus two.

Yeah my previous employer had this too. The cool thing was let's say you had 120 hours to use. You would pick a day you wanted off and put down how many hours of pay you wanted. So you could take days off with 8 hours pay but you could also take a day off and just get 6 or 7 hours pay so you can get some extra days out of it. They also offered an option where you could buy extra vacation hours at the beginning of the year and deduct it from your check. I never got why people did that. You're not gaining anything out of it unless you get a big pay raise I guess because then you get your money you paid for vacation back at a higher rate.

They just announced the new rate: 6.89%, which includes a fixed rate of .4%.  That .4% gets added onto whatever the inflation rate is for the life of the bond.  The previous fixed rate was 0%.

This is only my opinion... The days of going out after work for happy hour is decreased significantly over the years. The days of Uncle Charlie's (downtown) where the stand and model crowd hung out, Splash days, etc is over. The gym is the new  "happy hour" crowd. Guys are working out vs the drinking. This was happening way before the pandemic which made this even worse. Many years back even the Townhouse was a big after work crowd where all ages met. That too has diminished. Sad. I liked going out after work either meeting up with friends to end the stress of the day or meeting new business minded professionals. Remember when everyone wore a suit?

My grandparents' generation used to have as much fun playing little pranks on neighbours as they did going trick-or-treating, and my parents' generation went door to door happy to receive any treat, whether that was a homemade cookie, some nuts, or maybe a bit of candy or a penny.  My generation was all about collecting the candy and then watching scary movies after getting home, and today's generation is apparently fine with critiquing the treats being offered.  Maybe tomorrow's generation will expect us to go door to door handing out candy to them.... 🙄

I can understand that you would want to go through a third-party to meet a compatible escort.  However, that is not always necessary.   For example, if you are looking for a particular recommendation, I can offer you a contact link for a very handsome, charming and trustworthy man who is age 27 and never disappoints.
I first met him in another country and by mere coincidence, he chose to reside in Los Angeles where you could meet with him.
Although he is from another country, his English is quite good.
He advertises his services on an escort site and charges an hourly rate for his services.
If you want a contact link for this man, just let me know.

I'm in my late 30s and for me it is getting what I want, when I want. I have a busy schedule and I just don't have the time/effort/energy to waste on Grindr or some other app and result with my free time being wasted with flakes/Catfishes/or unresponsive people.

If y'all are interested enough, watch some of the other videos in this guy's collection.  And if you don't think any of them are racy, fine.  We all have our different definitions and standards.  As for the attractiveness of Filipinos, I have many Filipino friends, male and female, and most of them are quite attractive, even hot, in my book.  But you might not like my book any more than you agree with my assessment of "racy for YouTube."

To answer your question. Many firms in the early 2000s started consolidating time off.  Instead of 15 days vacation, 5 sick days, 2 floating holidays for religious holidays and 3 days bereavement leave they just gave everyone 15 days PTO. Use it as you wish. Less administration and more work days overall for the employee. They also started limiting how many days of PTO you can carry over to the next year. 🤓
