His ad is still up. When you saw that he was a fraud you should have left him in the lobby and called security if he bothered you further. Thankfully, it seems that things worked out well at the end.

I was excited to meet up with Barack, as he was scheduled for the past few weeks to be in my city today and tomorrow. Alas, his schedule changed on Tuesday and he dropped my city from his travel plans. Unfortunately, this happens all too often when guys advertise for my city weeks in advance, then change plans within a day or so. 
Oh well - on to plan B which is to meet up with Vince (who's very handsome and very reasonable for a scrub and erotic massage. He is scheduled to be here for a week, so I hope he doesn't cancel out.

You may be reading too much into it. He responded and said nothing discouraging. Had he been averse to clients like you, he either wouldn't respond or he'd say your not a good fit. He left the ball in your court. If, for whatever reason, you feel uncomfortable meeting somewhat who isn't affirmatively encouraging, it's probably better that you don't book him. Whether that's because he's not into it or you need more encouragement than he provides, it's not a good set up for a great time for you.

I know  you said you were stupid but writing a review before you even met him was unethical and deceptive. You lost any credibility by admitting that.

I take the RM reviews with a grain of salt.  I always try to leave (honest!) reviews but realize I'm often in the minority.  One provider I met several months was supposed to be hung like a horse and multiple reviews said the same.  When I met him I was surprised to see he was the size of a thimble.  I always thought an honest review helped the client community and never understood why anyone would intentionally leave a dishonest review which ends up hurting all of us.  Probably the same people who leave a 25% tip in a restaurant after they received terrible service and the wrong food. 

I always insist the provider count the money in front of me, no matter how chummy he seems on the first appointment ( or following appointments). I explain, “ business is business” and as a customer I want him to count it in front of me so there’s no discrepancy.  After he does then I can continue hugging and kissing him goodbye. 

This is a great reminder to providers to actually count the money being paid to them.  I cannot tell you how many guys I see thank me and don't count the money while I'm there.  This is when you want to catch the problem.  
Also, these prop bills used in the movies have a different feel than real stuff.
