I think the problem is there's not enough ad. For someone who is new and has no reviews, he needs more editorial to sell himself - since no reviews are doing it for him. At $500, he needs to be more informative about himself.

His presentation in pictures is impeccable.  The verbal presentation is confusing.  Perhaps that is a result of the head injuries.  Certainly mouth watering but it looks as though that is all your mouth will get to do. 

While he is beautiful to look at, has anyone ever engaged this gent? From his ad text, I gather he’s only looking for sponsors with some flexing/posing thrown in 🤷🏼‍♂️

His ad is still up. When you saw that he was a fraud you should have left him in the lobby and called security if he bothered you further. Thankfully, it seems that things worked out well at the end.

I was excited to meet up with Barack, as he was scheduled for the past few weeks to be in my city today and tomorrow. Alas, his schedule changed on Tuesday and he dropped my city from his travel plans. Unfortunately, this happens all too often when guys advertise for my city weeks in advance, then change plans within a day or so.

You may be reading too much into it. He responded and said nothing discouraging. Had he been averse to clients like you, he either wouldn't respond or he'd say your not a good fit. He left the ball in your court. If, for whatever reason, you feel uncomfortable meeting somewhat who isn't affirmatively encouraging, it's probably better that you don't book him. Whether that's because he's not into it or you need more encouragement than he provides, it's not a good set up for a great time for you.
