The wrestler's hot, but I think the coach (or whoever that is) standing behind him is even hotter 😍

In the 1960s, I was in my early '20s and living and working in a small town in provincial Iran (this was pre-Islamic Republic days). There was a lot of gay activity in town, and there was a bathhouse where I heard guys went for sex, but I was too nervous to be seen at the bathhouse. One time I was in Teheran with a group of  American coworkers, one of whom went to the neighborhood bathhouse for a massage. (In those days all Iranians went to the bathhouse weekly for a bath, massage, and depilatory treatment). Iranians wore a tight fitting bathhouse towel, that was almost like a diaper...keeping the family jewels off limits. Fathers, knowing what masseurs were known for, always accompanied their sons. My friend (who was straight, well hung, and had the biggest balls I had ever seen up to then), not knowing about the bathhouse towel routine, laid down on the massage table, nude, ass-up. The masseur, not knowing Americans were casual about nudity, took this as the sign the customer wanted sex. A few minutes into the massage, the masseur wrapped my friend's hand around the masseur's hot erection. The friend jumped up, threw the masseur out of the room, left and rejoined our group, and relayed this awful experience he just had. As soon as I could inconspicuously leave the group, I made a beeline for the bathhouse, paid my 25¢ for a massage, laid down naked and ass up on the massage table. A few minutes into the massage, the masseur went for the jewels and I let him know I wanted to get fucked. He said that would be another 25¢ to which I readily agreed. After that, whenever I was in Teheran, I would go to different bathhouses to have sex with a variety of masseurs. It was cheap, convenient, professional, and anonymous. Here today it's convenient, professional, and anonymous, just not cheap. But it's worth it.

Team USA won the men’s hockey gold exactly 46 years to the day after winning gold in Lake Placid.  I don’t follow hockey at all, don’t really have a dog in this fight, but I’m happy that the Americans were able to honor their late teammate Johnny Gaudreau and include his children in their celebration.  It meant the world to his family.

Johnny Gaudreau, who played for Team USA in a number of international competitions, was killed by a drunk driver in August 2024.  His teammates honored him by bringing his two kids on the ice for the team photo, a beautiful but heartbreaking moment …

It got pretty bad out here in the Southwest.  One morning was so cold, I thought about looking in my closet for my jacket 🧥.  But, I decided to save it for when it got really cold... Like in the 40s.

PV is totally calm and safe right now. The burned vehicles have been cleared. There is clean up to do for the burnt out stores. My friends all report they are back to their daily routines. All the bars and clubs opened last night or will be opening tonight. Restaurants and stores are open. Flights are back on track. All is good.

"Again, if you want to stay ignorant and ignore the writings on the…wall of facts,"
Bozo is the ignorant one? This coming from someone who formed his opinions and lectures others about a case he admits that he knows nothing about.  You have created a "wall of facts" without knowing anything about this case based solely on your knowledge of the older, wealthy white man/younger, poor black man dynamic. Of course your so-called "theory" is blown to bits with the example of Timothy Boham (white escort/white client) cited by @marylander1940 earlier in this thread.
"And you’re damn right my theory says he played a role. Otherwise the scenario would have never happened. You mean to tell me, someone living in a mansion didn’t have ample security or at least a “safe person” on premise or on call to monitor during these escapades?"
Again, you continue to repeat this bizarre claim that the doctor played a role in his own murder.
"Security"? A "safe person"? Really? When you (or any other provider) shows up at a client's doorstep, does he normally have "security" present? How about a "safe person" around to "monitor the escapades"?  Stupid Bozo . He's never hired security or asked a neighbor to drop by to act as a "safe person" to monitor the escapades. But Bozo is certain that other COM members will chime in to share their own stories of hiring security and safe persons.  Btw, all of the security in the world would not have helped Dr. Hoover when Burks showed up at his home for his scheduled appointment with a loaded revolver concealed in his jacket.
"The judge and jury already sealed his fate."
There was no jury. The lowlife coward took a plea to avoid a trial. In fact, he took a plea to both murders. But you get a pass on this one since you readily acknowledge that you know nothing about the case.
."....society prefers to talk about ICE, immigration rights, women’s rights, Black Lives Matter rights: but there’s not enough discussion about sex workers and clients rights."
To quote Ronald Reagan, there you go again (smh). comparing ICE, BLM, immigration, women's rights to the "rights" of sex workers and their clients. Such mindless blather. Just as a reminder, outside of a few rural counties in Nevada, paying for sex in the US is illegal. If there no crime committed, those of us who hire have no rights (other than to leave a negative review). And the same for sex workers. And if you want to discuss mental health issues, that's why we have paid professionals like therapists, analysts, psychologists, and psychiatrists. You can discuss it with them.
"...you just want to talk about how they don’t look good together, or how the “escort” was a killer and the “client” was 100% innocent and couldn’t have avoided this in any possible way."
Desmond Burks is a cold-blooded murderer. Period. Why do you continue to make excuses for his actions? Your efforts to blur the lines in this case between perpetrator and victim is truly mind-boggling. And other than making the poor choice of hiring this POS, what role did the doctor play in his own murder? And please don't waste your time repeating that ridiculous assertion that the doctor should have hired security and/or had a safe person around to monitor the escapades.
"Again, idk what the specifics of the dynamic were, but I can assume the red flags 🚩 were all over."
Actually, you shouldn't assume it. And for someone who admits to knowing nothing about the case, you sure have a lot of wild and baseless opinions and see a lot of red flags.
This will likely be Bozo's last post in this case. If you don't get it by now, you never will. And all of your psychoanalytic babble doesn't change the facts. It only speaks volumes about your own mindset.

Watch a couple dozen or so "gay" movies, and then look up the IMDB listings for the guys who played gay characters.  You will find that a very large percentage of them had very limited careers after that.

    Random thoughts:
I read somewhere, when the inevitable "Are they gay or straight in real life?" questions starting popping up about Storie and Hudson? (is it?), the writer reminded us that it is illegal and/or against company rules to inquire about a person's sexuality in a job interview.
The acting in Heated Rivalry is wonderful and the on screen chemistry is off the charts awesome IMHO.
The wife of Harry Hamlin, who was in the groundbreaking and (for the 80's) shocking movie Making Love, was quoted recently as saying her husband is entirely hetero. I remember watching that movie; it was for me a revelation and an affirmation that, though I am gay, I might just have a good life ahead of me. Hamlin really was great in that movie; so great that his career suffered. He is a wonderful actor. Didn't get a lot of good roles afterwards because.....well you know........
Cue to the present, forty years later, and the two leads of Heated Rivalry are being raised up, celebrated, toasted, and more importantly, hired for other acting jobs.
    Times really have changed.

You are correct. And Bozo will keep rolling his eyes when you make comments like the above.
Only the bizarro world of conspiracies did Dr. Hoover - a highly successful, brilliant, and beloved neurosurgeon - "play a role in the scenario". Truly sick and disgusting.
And before you respond, remember that other COM members, including potential clients, will be reading all about your theory that Dr. Hoover played a role in his own murder.
That's not a good look for you.
