  1. If you read about Neil Sedaka, he was friends with Greenfield from the time Sedaka was 13 and Greenfield was 16. Greenfield was definitely gay. Sedaka and Greenfield were writing partners for about 25 years.
  2. Neil Sedaka has a distinctly feminine aura. He was known to have a crush on Carol King and wrote a song I believe it was Hey Carol and then a reply song was written that was something like Hey Neil. Never heard any rumors about Bobby Vee but a brief search states that he was married for 50 years and that Bob Dylan, at the beginning of his career, played in the band with Bobby Vee. His biggest hit was written by Carol King, so that brings us back to Sedaka I found this little quote, which suggested that Sedaka might have been "a gay". Greenfield, Sedaka’s late partner, was openly gay and people started to suspect that Neil Sedaka was a gay also, although he did not confess to it. People believed that Greenfield may not have been the only gay in the Brill Building, but that he was the most famous one. People who suspect Neil Sedaka is gay claim that his behaviors were suspicious and also was rumored to have a secret Russian boyfriend. Those who believe Neil Sedaka is straight point to the fact that he’s married and has kids. Sedaka however did not comment on the speculation to the question is Neil Sedaka gay?
  3. As with almost everything else, supply and demand will fix the price. I have residents leaving NJ to go to NM or Wy to start a practice with the town guaranteeing a 350,000 a year salary with a signing bonus and other perquisites. In NJ, primary care doctors get a lot less, usually about 1/2 that.
  4. Not everyone has an extra $150 dollars a month per person in the family. At times we need to be reminded of that, especially on this forum where most spend $250 or more regularly for an hour's worth of fun.
  5. So you do not see it as high end means to healthcare but a tax, which by definition it is not as you are obtaining a service for your money, so it is a purchase. I am not against it. I considered doing it myself. Ultimately, I continued to see all comers. By the way, not all doctors take the ACA insurance, so I am sure you could have found one who did not and thus not be caught up in the "flood" of all THOSE people who previously could not afford health care. Glad you were not drowned in the flood. No sure why you are not willing to admit you are on the luxury liner while others are out with leaky life preservers.
  6. 600 x 1800 is 1.8 million dollars a year. The concierge company usually takes a hefty percentage but it still a lucrative situation for a primary care doctor who has enough patients and rich enough patients to afford that kind of care. For those patients, this is a high end exclusive means to obtain health care. There are not enough primary care doctors to provide this service for everyone and since most primary care doctors usually have a panel of 2000 to 4000 patients, there is actually a decrease in the physician hours to see patients who do not have this care. This kind of practice is great for the patient's who can afford it and a burden on the system otherwise.
  7. The gay storyline is definitely a minor consideration but there have been a few hot scenes.
  8. Finished day 6 and I am starting to get a bit more endurance though I have a long long long long way to go. First steps are very hard but persistence is the key. Thanks to sam for undertaking this project with me. Someone with whom to share the pain.
  9. Take it from me, you do not want to hike with Azdr. Stroll to dinner, walk around the pool and ogle the goods, amble aimlessly around a male go go bar, sashay along the gay streets of Palm Springs. These are all reasonable ideas. Hiking in the sun in the moutains outside Palm Spring, well that is a no from me but send me a post card
  10. I always liked the rear end on the Gremlin. That is something you and the Gremlin have in common.
  11. I had a 1973 Barracuda Dark Blue Dark interior Had it a week and rolled it down an embankment. Have the scar but not the car.
  12. I have three dogs and the first day I took two along and they were really not a help. They ran in different directions and were a general nuisance. I have always had multiple dogs and I have just let them in the backyard, so they are not used to be walked on a leash. Once I am walking a bit more securely with a bit of pace, I will start taking one with me. Day 4 has gone well.
  13. Wouldnt it be easier and cheaper to lay in salt licks in the non hiking areas?
  14. Well made it to day 3. Walked a little further, a little faster. Did get a bit of a muscle cramp but I was able to walk through it. And so it goes. I am feelinga bit friskier too. I had a young handsome door to door salesman trying to sell exterminator plans come to my door today. I flirted with him a bit and he flirted back. I am under no illusions, he flirted back to try and make a sale, but hey, I wanted to flirt with him which is a bit better than I have been doing. Turns out he was a virgin Mormon for BYU, 19 and he gave me a lesson on his hover board which he was using to speed up his movement from sales call to sales call.
  15. Yes that is all comers including those with severe heart disease and other risks for morbidity. I had none of those. Still, it did indeed happen, so there you go.
  16. To answer your questions, the cath was done after I had a respiratory infection of significant severity which left me with significant bronchospasm. I had an episode in the middle of the night and went to the ER to get an albuterol treatment. When I arrived there, they did routine blood, which at this ER included a troponin if you had chest pain or shortness of breath. Troponin came back at .18 and several follow ups were in the same range. Cath was recommended and I refused. I continued to be ill with the bronchospasm for weeks and started having chest pain. Nuclear stress test was done not definitively negative. Cath was recommended. I again refused. Two more weeks went by and I was still having intermittent chest pain even after the bronchospasm ended. Again, by a different *(third one) cardiologist a cath was recommended and I relented. The cath showed no coronary artery disease except for the dissection, Just to be clear, after the cath, and the ST elevation which was transient, echo showed an ejection fraction of 65% and the troponins after the cath were negative. So yes there was ischemia but not infarction and ventricular function was preserved. So that is the story. Cardiac output is still around 60. I had always argued with the ER docs about troponins on my patients with a weak or no story for CAD, always without success. I do not know the ins and outs of the finances but I know the ER and the ER docs made out better if the tests were done. I do blame that test for knocking down the first domino. In retrospect, I should have refused again, but at that point, I opted to get it done and over. It was a low risk procedure, but not a no risk procedure and as the superstitions go, bad things happen to doctors and their families. I do not believe it is generally true but it was true in my case.
  17. Season three was release recently. I enjoyed it. Sexy Billy has a much bigger part this year which is good for those who enjoy seeing former Power Ranger (red) actors in bathing suits. Unfortunately, they gave him a mullet which takes away from his handsome face. The show itself is a guilty pleasure. Lots of obvious discontinuities but all in all, fun.
  18. At the Nude Party a Cola is $5 so probably $15 for alcohol at the regular go go . If I am approached and do not want to be talked up, I tell them I am an Uber driver waiting for my client to finish his dance. Never fails to get them on their way. No one has ever asked me to buy them a drink though they are not always accurate on their dance counts, so there is reason to pay attention there.
  19. Well Day 2 was better than Day 1 A little further and a little faster with less fatigue and shortness of breath.
  20. Let us not forget that bodies can be very easily identified in some cases. A tattoo, scar or some other marking may make identifying the person possible and that may be an issue for the poster. However, the OP asked what he should do not what the advertiser should do.
  21. Yes a man of few words.
  22. But reflective of his essence is it not?
  23. You got a deal. :I will PM you tomorrow after my walk. You do the same. Virtual work out partners, a new app will soon be in the offing.
  24. I am starting slow and from home. I have had good success with using a trainer in the past but at the level I am at now, I think I can work up to getting in good enough condition to be able to utilize a trainer.
