  1. I was looking for a hotel in LA for April and one of the options was Cancelon, which was significantly less expensive, even compared to the Conference Hotel with the Conference rate. They buy and sell Hotel cancellations. I am a bit antsy about using them as they give you a confirmation from them but no confirmation from the hotel until very close to the date. Any experiences??
  2. I would be easily mockable as I sound quite animal like when I come. No one has ever mocked me, at least they have not mocked me to my face.
  3. Hopefully you had a happier ending with the young man
  4. That is the final day. Sorry that you cannot be there longer rr
  5. I seem to be the only one who thinks MEH. The acting was superb but halfway through I thought I would rather rewatch Once Upon a Time in America, the long version of course. Similar story line. Similar attention to detail and a lot more content in OUATIA. The little pop up video type recounting the deaths of minor characters added little but distraction for me. Mafia bad and kill people is not a point that needs to be stressed to anyone interested in watching this movie. The Mafia involved in killing Kennedy and the Bay of Pigs is old territory and speculative and I do not think this movie added any insight to that. Perhaps those that did not know of the hatred between Bobby Kennedy and Jimmy Hoffa found that informative. I do think the line after the Kennedy assassination when Hoffa says: Bobby Kennedy is now just another lawyer, was a powerful moment. Otherwise, I enjoyed the film but I doubt it is winning a Best Picture Oscar. Tom Hanks and Mr. Rogers are probably taking the acting and the Best Picture Oscars back to their neighborhood.
  6. I imagine that the men who find these muscular men, me included, find the attraction in the strength and the curvature of the body and in an idealized male physique. I do not begrudge men who find thinner, less muscular men desirable. I just do no see that attraction, All in all, we all have different triggers to the libido and for many, especially in the US, muscularly endowed men do the trick.
  7. Most of the posters here who answered in this manner I would think of as being sarcastic. Considering your penchant for statistics, I have no doubt that these are accurate and that if asked you could stretch out that list with similarly accuracy.
  8. New Orleans St Louis Cathedral
  9. Don't forget the get together in DC in January. New participants to that party are always welcome.
  10. Boulder Co came to my mind as well. Burlington VT Providence RI Carmel CA
  11. Seems ad photos are more impressionistic in that they seem vaguely out of focus to me. Still body seems great.
  12. Just getting over a bout of pneumonia which has slowed me to a crawl over the last several weeks. The cough has finally slowed and my strength is back though I am still sleeping about 16 hours per day. I hope to be back to doing mild exercise in a day or two. Thanks for checking in.
  13. I prefer my man's underwear be....in a drawer or on the floor.
  14. I am in the definitely see him again category. I would let him know that you would love to continue to have some type of relationship after he has retired. As we get older, we tend to have fewer and fewer people in our lives. In this age of easy communication, I would ask him if he would be interested in texting or talking or getting together in some other capacity. I am friends with three former escorts who have retired. One I speak to occasionally on the phone and every few months we have lunch or spend a day. Another, is a man I am Facebook friends with under his personal account and we private message on that forum. He lives across the continent, so we do no see each other, though he knows he has an open dinner invitation anytime he is on my coast. The third is someone who calls me regularly, usually for medical advice. He also does dog rescue and twice he has called to ask me to consider adopting a dog. I have adopted both. He brings them up north from Florida. We spend a few days together. He still looks great. He stays at my home and I think we both enjoy his unclad struts from the shower to his room. I am always tempted to offer to pay for a session, but in reality, he is mostly straight and has limits that were once fine with me but now would be unacceptable. So grab your opportunity. Maybe there can be more. If not, be sure to tell him the significance he has had in your life. Validation is rare and it is a beautiful gift.
  15. Well /I completed my Saturday Thanksgiving with two friends. I started to low temperature cooked at turkey about 10 AM and it was 17 pounds. It should have been done at 14 minutes per pound by 3 PM. It was not. Served some shrimp, still uncooked. So we had a cheese and cold cuts course. Then awhile soup course . We sat and talked and I realized I had not checked the turkey for an hour. Still turkey was not done. We sat and talked more, had some wine and I prepared the side dishes. An hour later, still not cooked. Checked the temperature of the bird, it wa still 155. So I put the low temperature, 210, to medium, 250. Still after another hour, nothing, temperature of bird 160. Finally put the temperature up to 400 after coating the bird with honey and maple syrup. It took yet another hour but finally the temperature reached 180. The outside was golden brown. The sides were ready. And after letting the bird sit of a bit, it was carved. Damn, it was the best turkey I have ever had. Juicy. Sweet. Cooked to perfection, Total time in the oven, 8 hours. Now this cannot be the way one cooks a turkey regularly and certainly when I have low temperature cook turkey in the past it has taken 15 minutes a pound. So I do not know if the heat on my oven is off or if the bird was still cold from the defrost. I doubt I could replicate this, but it was a fine meal. We sat, talked, had course by course with time in between. Never felt bloated. Even had room for coffee and pastry when all was said and done. So PB and J for Thenksgiving and then a great turkey two days later.
  16. I find second and third encounters to be generally more exciting and invigorating than a first encounter. Even though this is a signed sealed and paid for experience, there is still a bit of incsecurity in the first encounter. By the second encounter I know what he does that works for me and what I do that works for him and then we go for the works. After the third time, it takes more effort to keep the fire burning bright but from prior experiences with him, you know where you can get a spark
  17. Yes self acceptance is a big step on the road to a happy life. Great that you are making great strides in your life.
  18. Unfortunately we all do not have very long.
  19. It sounds as if all is going well for you and the boys. Have a great holiday season. There is a small point I think we all should appreciate, you were concerned about how all this would work and it has worked out well. The lesson is, life is hard enough, don't overthink it.
  20. That does sound better
  21. Hopefully the series and not the movies.
  22. . Oh you youngsters and the rules you have to follow. Back in the day, the booths were built for two but I have not been in one since the Ed Koch administration.
  23. Video booth showing porn in which the management does not mind if two men are in the booth at the same time. Usually the doors are left a bit ajar to signal that there is a willingness to play.
  24. Indubitably one of my loveliest qualities.
  25. I am a serial monogamist. Hire a regular more prominently. However, I am never totally monogamous and I have a few guys I see less frequently and even more rarely a new guy. This year. I have hired two new guys and a regular regularly and two or three other guys intermittently.
