  1. Thanks for the great weekend in DC to ArVaGuy for planning. I enjoyed hanging at the IML hotel where men were men and leather was aplenty. A nice dinner at an Italian Restaurant and a brief stop at a local gay bar which was flooded with bachelorettes in shiny tops and screeching voices, was probably not the best choice but we quickly hit the exit to go to Secrets. We arrived early and were able to search out a perch to view most of the going ons and the going offs. We were right near the shower which turned out to be key location. The were at least 5 or 6 dancers of the buff and bulky type which are my preference and there seemed to be a flavor for every taste. While rules of the club do not allow touching from the waist to the knees, this was fine for me. I like the allure of being close but not actually touching. The luncheon the next day at Annies had a small group of eight or nine. This was fewer than in past years but the conversation flowed smoothly and I enjoyed the food and the company. All the others in attendance seemed to be enjoying themselves as well. If this is the last of these parties, it has been a good run. ArVa will not be available to host next year, so if there is a DC denizen or another person who would like to continue this tradition, that would be lovely. Again, thank to ArVa for his work this year and in the past.
  2. A fair tip is about 1/t the length of the entire penis As far as monetary rewards, anything you wish to give above and beyond an already significant rate should be graciously accepted by the escort as it is totally unnecessary.
  3. Remember Mike Gray's long hair. Contacted him to be my first hire and he told me that he would be too much for me and that I should hire someone else. Not sure what he meant as I have never had a sex partner be too much for me. But I did as he suggested
  4. Interesting read but the review and the complaint happened in the same month, not on the same day. The apartment owner was in SF and the review is from a man he saw in NYC. The reviewer states clearly that Rainer was visiting and if he lived closer the reviewer would spend all his funds on him. Still, the idea that one would come home and find a frenemy giving massages and providing escort services without one's permission seem like the opening of a porn film. However, it does not seem that it ended that way.
  5. I am over the pneumonia and have started dieting but I still have a bit of exercise induced wheezing as a residual from the pneumonia which is almost gone but which has been holding me back from too much in the way of exercising. Thanks for asking. Happy New Year to you.
  6. I usually get there around 6 PM before the crowds start to form so as to get a nice place near the bar. I have an 8 o'clock appointment and then would be returning after ten, assuming my legs are working at that point.
  7. Well the weekend is quickly approaching. I am looking forward to it. How many of us will be at the bar of the host hotel on Friday?
  8. Harvard Health cites an article from 2005 and updated in 2017 and published in January 2017 which suggests that if you are not otherwise at risk from ASA that taking 81 mg of ASA 1/2 hour before a flight would be reasonable. The data was extrapolated from DVT in hip fractures and suggests only a minimal benefit might be obtainable. Clearly if you have problems with ASA, a history of PUD, ASA allergy, use of medications that ASA would significantly alter, then you do not fit in the category of otherwise healthy with low risk from ASA. If new recommendations have been set forth since 2017, I have not seen it, but perhaps it is out there. But as to from whence I made the statement, that was it. I understand that there may be little or perhaps no benefit and there is no conclusive double blinded study nor is one really feasible considering the number of people needed for a statistical difference to be generated given the low benefit potential.
  9. Victor, I want to thank you for accepting four different non US currencies, a book of stamps and several strings of NOLA Mardi Gras beads for payment for our last session. Your willingness to compromise like this is one of the reasons I keep coming back. Good news, I have just about enough deposit bottles to have a session the next time you are in my neck of the woods.
  10. One thing I would add to all this if this is a full pressurized cabin then the data here is accurate and as little as an hour is enough time to develop a clot in the leg if you do not get up and move. If you are on a plane that is not maximally pressurized, the risk is even greater, I did not see if you are flying commercial or if you are flying in a private non jet but the SOB and the history of PE strongly suggests taking every precaution every time you fly. Even healthy people at low risk still are better off taking an aspirin if not containdicated and using compression socks and getting out of the seat regularly, mores during long flights.

  12. Sounds similar to the Boys in the Band, with the escort playing all of the characters except the birthday boy.

  14. You are probably a bit short there, but in my estimate I was including a tip, which, considering the passenger, would not have been forthcoming, so I may have been a bit over. The Price Is Right rules state you win because you were the closer without going over. .

  16. Also is this your way to telling me I was right when I told you not to walk and to take a Uber?. Don't say you wanted the exercise, we all know you did not want to spend the 20 bucks for a ride.
  17. If I see an escort only. once, he has not made much of an impression. I have not been in the position where it was not possible to get together again, The escort that made the most lasting first impression was Rick Hammersmith who I called to make an appointment and wound up speaking with on the phone for more than 2 hours. Several time I mentioned the time we had been on the phone and each time he said he was enjoying the conversation. When we finally did meet, the encounter was terrific I think we got together about 10 times in total and though he has retired and married and is now living on another continent, I still speak with him now and then.
  18. When I have gone for interviews, the interviewer has the resume in hand. He/She may have reviewed other data, but the resume is still on the desk. Now I suppose there are Skype interviews and other than face to face interviews, but I have not done any of those.
  19. I would pay the going rate if the escort was a truly satisfying experience in each way. I would love to be considered as a regular and get a rate in accordance with that. After all, unlike a new client, I am not likely to not show, not pay or nor abuse the escort in some way. However, as I usually will ask an escort if he wants a meal or offer him a small gift, I might find those extras will be limited as I pay the increased rate,
  20. Like the ripped body of the millennial Jake, but there is something alluring about the 90's Jake and the way he sucked a dick in those videos, Brought me off the edge and onto 90s Jake team.
  21. Well Antonio, a few years ago, I sold my medical practice to a hospital with a contracted 2 year employment guarantee. Within those two years the hospital moved the practice twice. They mismanaged each of the moves, making it almost impossible for patients to find the practice. After three years, they c,losed the practice, leaving me unemployed. I started doing part time teaching at the local hospital and as a result, I ran into colleagues, one of whom advised me of a job. I interviewed and was offered the job in a temporary position with the proviso that they would look to find someone with more longterm potential. I took that job, which was always meant to be a stopgap and after eighteen months, they found the specialist they wanted to run the facility and eventually I was dismissed. (The new person lasted less than a year. Oh well.) I went back to the teaching position, which is paid but on an as needed basis. I volunteered to do as much time as they could give me, After, doing that for 16 months, I was offered a full time position, which I am considering. Long story even longer, I put myself out there, I made contacts, I let people know I was interested in full time work and I kept my eyes and ears open. In that time, I applied for several jobs, but despite promising interiews, none resulted in a job offer. I got better at interviewing and found that I needed to hone those skills which would help me excel at the interview. Also, on several of those job interviews and even at the two I landed, I decided to address the hidden agenda of ageism. I prepared for this and even though it is not legal to directly question about age, I made a point of bringing it up and I discussed why my age, experience, maturity and dependability far outweighed any perceived advantages of youth So there are jobs out there, You need to convince yourself of your worth before you can convince anyone else. Sit down, figure out why they should hire you and then do not be afraid to tell them. Apply, even if you do not think you are right for a job and use that to hone interviewing skills and development of confidence, Keep your ears open and recruit friends and colleagues to do the same. Find temporary employment, as the best testament to your ability is to have a job, Finally, you should consider jobs which are related but not directly in your usual area of expertise. In medicine, I did private practice. The jobs I got, involved hospital care of patients, teaching, administration and insurance management. Skills which were not my forte but areas of practice to which I brough a different prospective. Good luck. It may take time but do not get discouraged.
  22. Gazpacho. Pogo. Poach. Chop. Chap. Choochoo. Goop. Hoop. Pooch. Hooch. Coop. Coco. Cocoa. Achoo. Capo. Pooh. Poopoo. Poop. Agog. Opah. Cacao 21. But I doubt Poopoo and choochoo would be good, Googoo either for that matter, Opah is very common crossword puzzle word but that may not qualify here either,
  23. Immediately got gazpacho
  24. Only one I had to add to yours were Fell Fluff and Full. and Missed Uneventful as I though you said their were nineteen and stopped looking, Came up with unfelt by putting un in front of every word I had but did not do it to eventful as that was a pangram already, You should try the Sunday one, I have spent more than an hour on that looking for one word to get me to the finish,. They score that with good to excellent scale and they tell you how many you need to be excellent but they always have a few more. In that puzzle I have usually found offbeat words, technical words from medicine that they do not score.
  25. I am shocked that this group did not come up with RIBALD.
