Thank you for plainly laying this out. I am an overthinker and very prone to falling down rabbit holes. I will admit that your fifth point about the murky is kind of the hope I guess. But a blend of the third and fourth points should be what I work towards. 

There are a few possibilities with your relationship:
He leads you on to take advantage of your financial support — luckily, this did not happen. He proactively steps away from you romantically — is this easier for you? You proactively step away from him romantically — this is what we discussed. You switch everything to a platonic version of pure friendship — this will require a lot of effort and will power from you. You stay in a “murky” situation and hope for one day, something strikes him and turns him to see you differently (i.e. romantically).  After all, you said he told you he wasn’t interested in a relationship right now, but he could be ready for one tomorrow. Are there other possibilities that you wish for? The real question is: which one do you prefer?

I gave up this hobby because I found the man of my dreams on seeking arrangement that checked every box for me. I fell in love hard and fast, and I stayed there.
 
Just last night we had a really tough conversation.
When we met, I wanted him sexually and he wanted to travel and see the world. We spent 21 weeks out of the past 52 fucking in every corner of the world, filling passports and loving life. 
 
Last night he shared with me that this arrangement is no longer meeting his needs. That he absolutely loves our travel, but each trip is a distraction from him achieving his goal of financial independence.  He said the come down after each trip is a lot when he goes back to his real life and is reminded of his desire to be able to afford to do this with the man of his dreams.  
 
Our arrangement still meets my needs in every measurable way. Now it’s up to me to figure out a way to meet the new, pressing need he expressed to me, or risk losing it. Relationships are always evolving and don’t always look the same as when they started. 
 
I believe you have the emotional intelligence to find some common ground with him and enjoy the intimacy you create together.

I know for a fact that all the songs on the backroom playlist are 3 minutes to 3:15 long. I asked management who confirmed that for me. As other commenters have stated, some dancers are dishonest with the number of songs.
 
With the timer you ALWAYS know how long a dance is and how many songs it has been (divide by 3). As some have stated dancers have previously lied about how many songs have passed. I like to make a link of trust with my clients by being full transparent with my timer.
 
If you will "never again" get a dance with me that saves me the stress of someone who doesn't agree with my rules because I will not be changing them. 
 
Enjoy the other dancers that are not "as attractive" and who have previously lied about how many songs it has been.
 
As for everybody else, I look forward to giving you a beautiful and unforgettable experience in the backrooms at stock bar for 25$ CAD/3 minutes

Hi Bozo. A client sent me this thread. I always let clients know before the dance that I charge 20$/3 minutes. As of May 2026, 25$/3 minutes. You were advised of my price and still said yes. You had the chance to say no but you did not which meant you accepted my price! And not only did you take one dance,  you toon 2 DANCES!

The reason I go by the timer is that I started dancing in Monster where by your comments you have been to so you know how the timer works. However 20$ CAD/4 minutes is 3,5 USD per minute which is much less than monster's 5 USD per minute. 
 
Since I am American and I got my start in the US I refuse to charge less than what I make in the US especially from a fellow American. This is another reason why I made the songs 3 minutes. Which is equivalent to 4,6 USD/minute. 
 
Now I charge 25$ CAD/3 minutes which is equivalent to 5,6 USD/minute and I get naked after the 2nd song instead of the 3rd. 
 
I charge a slight premium because I offer a better experience than almost all the other stock dancers and by the comments on this thread, there aren't many attractive dancers available at stock. 
So. Before this summer when I raised my price you were getting a premium but also paying less than you do at Monster, a place where you probably got a dance with me and I did NOT get naked. 
You do now pay a slight premium at 25$ CAD a song but very few people will complain about the 60 cent USD premium for an attractive and sensual dancer over a not so attractive one. 
And if you don't accept my price that's okay. I have enough clients that do. I'll see you in NYC or MTL. Or even LA because I'm often there too.
I'm glad I was mesmerizing enough that you took 2 DANCES instead of ONE even though you didn't like that a song = 3 minutes! Thank you for the 40 Canadian. Next time it will be 50!

Sorry for your loss. As we age, the losses become more frequent and the ability to make new friends or even fwb is limited so each one hits a bit harder.  Once again condolences.  

Bottom line from this post is to never hire a provider to meet at a bath house! Bath houses are to go to for RANDOM encounters, not pre-planned ones. This detailed play-by-play is enough to hammer the point home. 

At the turn of the 20th century Montreal was one of the most elegant cities in North America. It was the centre of finance and industry headquarters and had a strong cultural life.
If you notice the architecture in this picture, nothing was ignored. Only the finest materials and little details like stone walls and wrought iron fencing around the church to separate it from its commercial neighbours. 
And lovely elm trees which once adorned the city. 
I was fortunate enough to grow up seeing the last of this urban cityscape before a lot of it disappeared in the 60s and 70s. Fortunately some charm remains in pockets here and there.

But you shopped for somebody that met a certain precondition. You may have screened out hundreds. That appearance precondition having been met, you were open to the emotional that might occur meaningfully between any two people you’d have screened out based on the rigidified precondition. Dollars to donuts (pastry again!) you squirm upon amorous affection directed your way if preconditions not met. That’s fine if you own and accept your template. It approximates mine. I decided to forego the conventional model of intimacy, wherein many people would say it’s refusing to try for an upgrade and at one’s expense. Now in my 70’s, I exclusively hire. No regrets.

This is like the Lincoln-Douglas debates.
