  1. This has been discussed so many times.....when providers talk about their clientele, the youngest end of the spectrum seems to be mid/late 30s.  The higher end seems to vary a lot but at least falls into the 50s, although some will report well into the 70s. and few, like Hagen have had even older clients There are some long-term past/present posters who were in their 80s. When I've attended DC meet-ups. I would guess that ages ranged from late 40s to 70s.

The long-term guys for whom this is a profession are accustomed to their clients being older, sometimes quite older than them. Some, like Mike Gaite have indicated that they've always been into guys older than themselves.

If there's going to be a problem it will be among younger guys, new to the occupation. The youngest guys tend to be disorganized as business people which makes me glad I'm not interested in twinks. There is huge turnover within the first month of an ad and some others don't last more than a few months. The best advice if you want to avoid perceived rejection is to wait and see who establishes themselves and to look at comments here.

If you're self conscious about your appearance, join a gym and get into a program of exercise and diet. You'll live longer and ultimately will be happier. Again, providers for whom this is a profession or at least a long-term gig, will have seen it all and will accept the range of guys they see. Newbies---well, wait and see who sticks around. If you're self-conscious, you probably don't want to be someone's "training case".

  2. I'm surprised that no one has asked about this guy, who has multiple platforms and is on OF, done porn and has been around for awhile.  He did a "Demystifyng Gay Porn" podcast recently:

  3. Backing away from Memorial Day in particular, this thread reminded me that on one desolate Christmas Day in DC, I was walking to a relative’s house late in the afternoon. Who should come jogging down the sidewalk but Mike Gaite. So, asking if someone is available and even traveling on a holiday, you maybe surprised who might respond.

  4. For me, the non-response is cyclical, but it's always more common among younger guys, who are much more likely to lack life experience that helps in running a service business.

Sometimes you get a response, but it's delayed. Someone whose generally gotten a good reception was visiting, so I reached out early because I was only going to be here one day during his visit. No response---then on the day I'd requested, I get messaged in the afternoon saying he was available that day and the next--perhaps he thought plans might change, but by that point I was busy getting ready for my trip. There are other guys who will say yeah. sure but nail down a time, then pop-up when they're available. There have always been a few providers considered by some to be special enough for that kind of scheduling. Not for me, though.

Not to bring up a topic that never seems to go well on here, but just because a provider doesn’t list PNP on their profile doesn’t mean they’re not doing it in their private life. I’ve twice experienced providers having reactions which I’m pretty sure we’re based on one of the liquid varieties enjoyed before I arrived and I had to deal with them being the only person around.

Many states have some kind of  Good Samaritan laws; in theory you won’t get in legal trouble or face questions as to how you got in the situation you find yourself if you call an ambulance for someone in distress (suspected overdose, heart attack, stroke etc)

Anything you do has probabilities attached. Eliminating PNP providers reduces but doesn't eliminate the risks. OP is obviously anxious about all this, but in the bigger scheme of things the risk are low esp. making use of the site.

I consider myself a regular to a provider who visits my city regularly.  He’d contact me before each visit so he can reserve the time slot that works best for me. There were times when he even arranged his trips and schedule to fit mine.

The corollary would be if you visit their home turf on a semi-periodic basis (and they're not a frequent traveler) and you usually try to schedule them. Noting that you're a regular visitor upfront may be helpful.

A consideration to be made is that long-term providers will ask questions that might get at whether someone will repeat. Providers who are in it for the short-term and those who don't want to deal with clingy clients will not do this.

  7. Such as what? Seizures, overdose, projectile diarrhea, belting out showtunes? None of these have happened to me, btw. You don't need up to date basic life saving to hire. Some guys have had providers show up, obviously on drugs---if you stay away from "PNP" in the "intos" (as I do), then that shouldn't be a problems.

If you're a newbie, your own anxiety will require more management than anything that goes on with a provider.

  8. Interesting thread. The only posters that say they've met him have very few posts to their credit. Yes, you have to start somewhere but when the only posts come from them, and one protests bit much, well.......

The guy takes the name of pornstar who had enough career to photos and an easily found real name with some semi-recent social media; so you could see he wasn't the guy. The OF sounds like the most scammy type---very brief, poorly shot videos, so whole thing sounds like a grift and hardly worth 3 threads.

There was enough initial interest in this guy that there seemed to be some unicorn hunting behavior---despite plenty of warning, there's always someone who wants guys with negative leading experiences or questionable supporters hoping they'll be lucky. Usually, they're not and it's better to save your money.

My 2 cents on Atlanta: I used to live there and have frequently returned for work.  It may be similar in size to other cities, but it's , eh Atlanta. There usually have been a small number of credible, reasonably long-term guys, but also quite a few who come and go (w/o much credibility) and and many who don't last long or simply not very good or reliable. Atlanta is very transient, esp. among younger people. It's also frankly kind of grifter-ish with lots of would-be entrepreneurs chasing a fast buck and looking for people who are ultimately bigger suckers than they are. It also has a poor reputation among traveling guys---fewer and less lucrative customers than they expect.

  9. I think it's more typical to be a trainer or go into real estate than to be a lawyer. Some go back to the kinds of jobs they had beforehand--hospitality, bartending, haircutting.  Some comeback after having done physical training and real estate.  What most of these have in common is that they are Plan-B occupations.

    How old is he now?

That’s been answered—29–upthread. What hasn’t been answered was whether his pcs were accurate.

  11. He's been discussed in passing, mostly. I saw him a coupe years ago when he was in NYC. He subsequently moved to Florida and was doing OF rather than RM. He's witty, engaging and versatile--a good BFE in my experience.  His ad seems more fetish-oriented than in the past and i can't comment on that.  He still has OF, as well as Twitter/X, so you can get some idea what he does. He also has an interview with MasculineJason (irritating interviewer but interesting interviewees) and Demystifying Gay Porn

  12. Is this they guy who had a dog who received as much mention as him? I seem to recall that the dog would be in the room or there may have been an expectation to bring dog treats. I like dogs, but the set-up seemed odd. I also seem to recall mixed reviews in the past.
