StarQualityLuke got a reaction from soloyo215 in Massage debacle
Just live & learn and your next time, just listen to your body and listen to your heart, if you feel it's not a good idea to get the massage, then don't, it's that simple..... You can always reschedule

Just because someone is attractive on the outside, doesn't mean it matches their inside.

That's just fine, but I'm just agreeing with him because it seems like people are just quick to judge and put down others for no reason other than just to do it and it's really sad.

StarQualityLuke got a reaction from JB_Studio38 in Providers altering travel plans, leaving you w/ blue balls.
Main factors in travelling. The price of gas these days for one, and another the cost of the hotel. When we travel, we aim for profit, not to break even. I would hope clients would understand that. The Fall is best, hotels are not as high in price, as in the Summer.

StarQualityLuke got a reaction from + Kevin Eagle in How much personal real-life information do you share?
I would say you can put out there what you like and what you feel comfortable with, no more than that.... Some of my clients are very personable and tell me everything, and some of my clients are very private and tell me nothing. I tend to keep things private, and there's nothing wrong with that 🙃
My regular clients are like friends to me, and that's always a nice thing 😁

StarQualityLuke reacted to mtaabq in What we look like - Why does it matter so much now?
Good morning. It would appear that my take on it is very different. I’ve always assumed that I was being asked for a pic so the provider would know for whom he was opening his door or whom he could expect when the door was opened when he arrives for the session. I’m sure there are providers who’ve chosen not to work with me upon seeing my photo or reading my profile. And, for me, that’s all right. I do not wish to work with someone who doesn’t wish to work with me. Apologies if I do not have a firm grasp on the topic being discussed.

StarQualityLuke reacted to Tomsell in Do not trust reviews from users on this site.
I would be very cautious about trusting the reviews on CompanyofMen.org. Many of the user reviews appear to be inaccurate, slanderous, and not even based on real massage experiences. Instead of genuine feedback from actual clients, a number of posts read more like personal attacks or attempts to smear masseurs who otherwise have strong reputations.
It often feels as though some users are simply angry individuals with nothing better to do than post fictitious comments that stain and damage the reputation of professionals. When reviews focus on accusations or personal opinions rather than the quality of the massage service itself, it raises serious questions about the credibility of the platform.
Take what you read there with a grain of salt. The lack of verification makes it very easy for anyone to post misleading or defamatory statements that can unfairly harm someone’s livelihood. I would not rely on these reviews as a trustworthy source when deciding who to book with.

StarQualityLuke reacted to DaddyCares in How much personal real-life information do you share?
This is a very interesting question. I've come to believe that it's probably better for everyone to give a little bit more information. But I don't think that anyone is really willing to do that. I understand the lack of trust, but it would be so much easier if we could just verify each other.

StarQualityLuke reacted to + sam.fitzpatrick in How much personal real-life information do you share?
I think the answer is always variable. Individuals by nature are all different - on this massage board we have individuals that are extroverted and others are introverted. When meeting with a client/provider, the best advice is two things - be yourself and do not create a false persona that you will need to support in future meetings. If you are naturally quiet, don't force yourself into talking and sharing information. If you are naturally a sharing person, be yourself, (but trust your "spidey-senses" and limit your sharing if something doesn't seem to be on the up and up.)
If you are asked something you are not comfortable answering, just say so.

StarQualityLuke reacted to + Pensant in Cancelling or Rescheduling
I agree! I had to cancel an appointment with a model-grade provider who was willing to drive from WeHo to South OC, but his schedule made the hour he’d arrive far too late for me, like 130 am. I had a big presentation at 9 the next morning so I had to cancel. He was somewhat desperate and he really tried to accommodate me. The next afternoon I deposited his two hour fee at a Chase bank, using his checking account number, which he provided. He was was elated and somewhat shocked that I would do this. It was the right thing to do. I wish I could remember his name!

Thank you..
However, don't let these other guys ruin it for you, because there are good ones out there, like me, that care. You just never know what's going on in someone's life, they could have had some emergency or something you just don't know ....things do happen in life.
But I also know in this business, there's a lot of fakes and flakes.
When I have to cancel or reschedule, I have to have an absolutely good reason that's just my policy for myself. 😁
Even when someone inquires, if I'm not available, the first thing I ask if you have any other availability.
Dont give up!
