I personally enjoy reviews, but a lot of escorts merely tolerate them. I think that’s important to keep in mind. Reviews are for the clients’ benefit primarily. Both gratification for the writer to see his experience in writing, and prospective clients who get to read experiences of others before booking. A lot of escorts could care less whether you review them or not.

 

As a client who reviews some (but not all) the escorts I see, I must admit I'm a bit puzzled by this. I don't hire unreviewed escorts (I consider posts here to be reviews), and I would think that was fairly common for clients wanting to be sure their hire would go well. I see a review as helping the escort's business. So I would think a good review would be seen by the escort as the possibility of increasing business.

 

So, is it common for escorts not to want reviews? Of the few escorts I've discussed reviewing them with, they did seem to like it as a promotion of your business. I would like to ask if escorts don't care for reviews. It won't stop me, but I am interested in the escort's opinion of the matter.

As an escort and also one that has a long string of good reviews, a thank you email is something I always send.

I totally agree with you. The lack of an acknowledgement of a rather intimate human to human encounter means that it was a "transnational" interaction to the provider. Like checking out at Walmart...

 

So, I don't tend to repeat with providers that do not acknowledge or value the service provided.

So I've had a few escorts text or email me through RM to thank me for getting together. REALLY puts them high up in my book. I know they are busy, but such a nice touch. Also, I've written review on RM for a couple of guys (positive ones) and never got a thanks or acknowledgement of it. I'll admit that kind of lowers the experience in my mind. I know it's a business transaction but how long does it take to send a quick short note thanking the client for posting a positive review? I saw a guy yesterday who was incredible. Everything about the appt top notch. Mentioned I wanted to write a review, he requested only RM, NOT Daddy's for some reason. I did, and it got published within a hour. I've yet to hear anything from him which sort of bothers me. Anyone else feel this way? Escorts, what is your take on this?

OTOH, I somewhat appreciate his being clear in terms of willingness to meet. It's certainly his choice as well as yours. I hate being ghosted and, at least initially, wondering if the guy didn't get my message or is too busy to respond at the moment. (That has about a 72-hour hang time.) Props for that, but totally shitty execution. A short "I don't think we're a good fit" only if you asked for a rematch would have been fine.

I don't know how common it is, but yes, some escorts prefer not to have reviews. I know and see a few. In some cases, it's unavoidable for them. However, if you asked them if they wanted a review, they would say it's not necessary.

 

A review refusal may happen for a variety of reasons. For example, the escort maybe escorting as a side gig and doesn't want the added attention of a review. They may feel the review will jeopardize their job or relationship status in some way.

I don't write reviews that often. I check with the escort first before I do because, as stated upthread, not everyone likes them. If I write a review, I give it a lot of thought and I send the escort a draft before I post it.
