It's been a while since I last posted here in the MC. In fact it was before Hooboy passed..wow. The landscape has changed here somewhat but there are a few cactus out there I remember... still standing tall.

 

I have been trying to post this for the last few months but it never seem like the right time. The recent postings here have been all over the place and at one point the posts were about one guy so... I waited.. I for one miss the old days..

 

 

 

This has been a great year for me and my circle of friends. We decided to step outside of our "comfort zones" in regards to sex play and dating. It was the most rewarding of sexual experiences..mind you I thought I had peaked already.

 

Based on how I was raised, my neighborhood community, my circle of friends, I found my partners and escort choices reflected my narrow minded notion of what I thought was sexy..ie..race, religion etc. So basically I went to the same well everytime to draw the same water. When I read that people say..They only hire (race, color, religion) because it is what turns them on..or the "you can't help who your attratced to" lines it saddens me. Some think it is racism..I think it is pure ignorance..This of course is my opinion..

 

My friends and I stepped out side of our "zones" and met and became friends with people we would have never met in our closed minded little worlds. I like muscular body types..so I finally realized that it shouldn't matter what color, race, religion the muscle is as long as it was muscle. But it did... you know why?...because I didn't know anyone from these categories. After learning about my new friends and their backgrounds, it truly opened up my eyes to their intellegence and above all their sexiness. Because of these new discoveries..my choices in escorts expanded to different religions, races, colors etc. All I can say is if you were like me than you don't know what you are missing.

 

We can continue to hide behind these false reasons... not me not anymore. I understand we are safer with what we know..but take chances..step outside your zones..Remember "Change Is An Inside Job." We are a minority within and minority within a minority so our selection pool is already small. Why limit it futher. Guess what..if it still isn't there for ya sexually you've got a possible friend and your still way ahead of where you began. You will be suprised and may regret like I still do that you didn't do it earlier.

 

I can honestly say that I am a much better man than I was at the onset of our experiment

Interesting post. But a little preachy, not nec in a bad way but it does come off that way. After all if someone, like I tend to be, is attracted to twinks and am very happy with hiring them then why is that narrow minded?

Godiva, this is a very wonderful post, and it serves to remind me of some of the men I've hired in the past. Well before I entred cyberspace, I was hiring escorts, and at that time had to rely on print ads, which occasionally offered a photo. But ultimately I made my choice based on how the escort handled himself on the phone.

More often than not I really had little idea of what the man might look like until he showed up at my door. There were a more than a few times when I was, well, "unsure" if I was really all that attracted to the guy seated next to me on the couch. And of course, some of those occasions resulted in less than satisfying encounters. Most often that was because of bizarre personalities or bad hygiene.

 

But there have been some shining examples of times when I really, really got off, even though the escort might not have been as physically impressive as I'd hoped for initially. There "surprise" factor back then was that because I mainly based my decision on the phone conversation, so what I was basing it on was personality, rather than looks. If I'd seen pix of some of these great guys beforehand, I have to admit I probably wouldn't have called on them.

And I would have missed some truly hot times.

 

Nowadays I do all my hunting on the net, so the visuals are rarely a surprise.

 

This isn't quite the same as your recent explorations, Miss G. But to be honest, race has never been an issue for me. In fact, I've never met a race I didn't get hot over. My issues have usually been more face-body-attitude. But it does serve to illustrate how we are far more versatile and pleaseable/ pleasing creatures than we give ourselves credit for. I am also curious how religion has been a factor in your hiring experiences... I can't say that it's ever occured to me to ask about it, either before or during an appointment.
