Facial hair is fine for rimming, but on behalf of those of us who don’t have asbestos butt holes, I would advise against specifically using your facial hair in this area (e.g. rubbing it).

 

Or the bearded one can soften his facial fur pre-rimming with Conditioner and/or a drop of baby oil worked into the beard post shampooing on dry clean beard

Is anyone else finding they must have a beard to make their face less thin?

 

While I have not been challenged with a thin face, a colleague of mine grew a goatee about 20 years ago, well before facial hair was common in mid- and upper-level management in corporate America. He always had a slight jaw line, and the goatee filled his look out. Just this year, he has allowed it to become a closely cropped, full beard; his wife tells me she think he looks better than ever in their 30-year marriage.
