I noticed that the October 13, 2017 reviews include one for Richard DeSantis, and thought I remembered some previous Forum discussion about him.

Turns out he's had three reviews since last month -- his only three, despite the fact that he's been mentioned on the Forum at least as far back as 2000. There were some concerns expressed in this old thread, begun in 2012 --

-- along with a spirited defense of Mr. DeSantis by a newbie poster whose only two contributions to the Forum were to that thread.

I have no personal knowledge about Richard DeSantis. This is just to point out that if you're considering him on the basis of his three new reviews, there's additional information available to you.

Elaine Benes would throw a fit. All those short sentences with exclamation marks. Somewhat similar in style to each other. Compare: "I felt like a guest" vs "He is a fantastic host." And FrankieMan talked about how he offered food and drink. Two reviews have a significant focus on his apartment, to the point of saying how each time they "check out something new in his apartment"... what does that even mean?

*shakes head*

Yet another review ... November 3 ... and this time he's the coverboy.

FOUR reviews within TWO months ... after having been around for about 20 YEARS and NEVER BEING REVIEWED. How plausible is that?

This kind of thing undermines the credibility of the reviews.

A simple Google search of the reviewers' "nom de reviews" reveals at least five reviews written by "CT Dick" (author of review # 4) going back to 2001. "MANSEXSEEKR" did not yield any results, however. The other two reviewers state they were first-time reviewers, so I wasn't surprised that searching on their names yielded no results.

I saw De Santis many years ago, and he was horrible. A friend of mine contacted him this year and asked him for a selfie; I had pointed out to my friend that he was still using photos from the 1990s and early 2000s, as well as some more recent photos where he does look much older. De Santis refused to send a selfie and then sent a tirade on why my friend was so obsessed with seeing a recent pic. Friend responded: Well your photos are all over the place, with some that are 10-20 years old. No response from De Santis. My guess is that he is 45-50 years old and probably looks really good for his age (better than I do!)--but beware of his temper and narcissism.

What about a current link to his ad:

His ad narrative, to me, reads rather "pushy" and contains a lot of rules.

Make that FIVE reviews within TWO months ... after having been around for about 20 YEARS and NEVER BEING REVIEWED.

I wonder how many more have already been submitted?

  • 4 months later...

Eight reviews inside the last seven months, six by first time reviewers. Of the other two, one claims three reviews, but a search turns up none. The other claims five (and to have hired DeSantis four times), and there are indeed several different reviews to be found, plus about a decade ago he was a frequent poster here, although not for a while and hasn't chimed on on this thread.

Oh, I did not realize. The number of reviews noted is not by the site but rather by the person doing the review? So the number could be fabricated?

but even more curious is that the substance of the reviews deviates considerably from discussions about the gentleman in question's online behavior(s)

I always thought Daddy monitored that

As you can see, I searched for the reviews. Anybody can search by simply typing the following into a search bar:

site:daddysreviews.com "Name_Of_Reviewer"

and substituting the actual name where I typed Name_Of_Reviewer. The quotation marks are required. This is not foolproof. My review handle is "Musl Lvr" and if you search on that name you will find approximately 14 unique results and several duplicates (a couple of escorts are listed under multiple cities). However, if you search for "MuslLvr" you will find no reviews. Let's say that I reviewed under "Musl Lvr" once, "Msl Lvr" four times by mistake, and "Musc_Lover" five times, you will never find all of my reviews. Not having the time (or desire) to search for all of the permutations of "MANSEXSEEKR" I would never find all of his reviews. Nor would Daddy.

He hit me up on RM. I keep my communications with guys on RM very businesslike because I want them to see right away that I'm not a time waster. He kept protesting the fact that I was a "man of few words." i also asked for a recent pic, which he was unwilling to provide, going off at me for asking. The whole thing was unpleasant. I don't like to resort to blocking people, even people like him. I suggested that we have no further contact, and he agreed. Haven't heard from him since.

he (DeSantis) approached me a few years back... we both have New Haven ties... and was fine at first but then went all weird on me.... i never actually met him, but i would caution all that he may have some "anger management" issues!

Good to know. Thanks
