Nevermind, I guess nothing. Already the petty comments are coming in and I just don't have time for it. Hopefully anyone here who's in those areas stay safe. But in the meantime, here's some food for thought:

You actually started a post because you couldn't wait to tell us that the cause of Hurricane Harvey is all the attention paid to a fight and an eclipse?

there's some good side to this monster storm.

Why the fuck people cares about some clowns in a boxing ring? The eclipse...was a mere distraction. Earth got jealous of all this nonsense and stuck a 1-2 right hook right up Texas's ass.

I'm hoping "Harvey" has caught the attention of rational climate-change doubters. Climate change specialists have collected data that indicates that the Earth's oceans are heating 13% faster than previously thought and accelerating; while a large amount of warming has been in the southern oceans, recently the Indian and Atlantic oceans have begun to warm:

Not to come off sounding lame, unsympathetic, corny or prophetic (and if it does, that's your opinion)...but there's some good side to this monster storm.

I've heard preachers say that hurricanes are the works of evil. However, considering they balance the poles and clean up the ocean...it just goes to show we are miniscule in meaning, when it comes time for earth to do its processes.

That said, this storm has a message though. For one, it'll drown out this whole McGregor/Mayweather fight that has been going on and on. Ironically the hurricane hits the day of...so many may not even be able to watch it. And secondly, people were so busy memorized by the eclipse, that they weren't watching this storm developing near Guatemala earlier in the week as it came from above South America. I had just said in another thread...an eclipse doesn't match the phenomenally of a hurricane. And sure enough...people forgot it was hurricane season.

It's just crazy people get hyped over such nonsense. Why the fuck people cares about some clowns in a boxing ring? The eclipse...was a mere distraction. Earth got jealous of all this nonsense and stuck a 1-2 right hook right up Texas's ass.

So all in all, it just goes to show. People need to stop getting distracted by petty things that are being overly hyped, because when the real storms of life come...everyone is going to say how they had no idea it was coming.

Dear God, you are stupid.

I don't think some people understand half the shit I say in a thread, is meant to be anecdotal. It's like when @Kevin Slater made that one thread about Powerball.

Yes, you're correct. That's exactly what I was referring to be the cause of the hurricane. I want EVERYONE to know, that Boxing and the Eclipse causes hurricanes. So, if we can just not be distracted by those things...we will never have another one again. No more Andrews. No more Katrinas. That's exactly what I'm saying.

Nevermind the fact, I explained that while the storm was forming, there were numerous other DISTRACTIONS that likely caught people off guard. Not that the distractions itself caused that. I have a friend in San Antonio who told me he didn't know anything about it until Thursday. Yet it was being tracked throughout the week. But, if you want the real answer:

I believe it. They said the storm strengthened over hot water in the gulf. However, interesting enough, I found another article saying the clean air is the real cause of such intense storms...

You goofy kids...you all know the real reason for this natural disaster is Donald Trump! The Russians warmed the gulf waters with secret underwater devices and his racist remarks started the baiting winds! MSNBC reports that Joe Arpaio is in charge of clean up and will import illegal Mexican immigrants from Arizona to do the work...

It's been a whirlwind week for Texas. First they had an eclipse. Then on Friday the Metroplex (=Dallas/Ft. Worth area) had a 3 Earthquake followed by Harvey Landfall.

Well...hate to say it but, I'm just not a fan of Texas. Based on the way Texas and its people/companies do unto other people, some things happen for a reason. Unfortunently when something so grand scale occurs, innocent people may get caught up in the retribution.

I was actually planning throughout the month to be visiting Houston this past week/weekend and couple other cities as its been since 2010 last time I was in Houston. My friends birthday is coming up and I was gonna swing on through.

I love Texas although not all its attitudes. I unfortunately am not really spiritual either. I mean yes, I believe people are probably nicer to other nice people in general than they are to complete aholes. But for the most part I don't think there is some big overarching karma abacus that keeps score. It seems there is too much evil in place for all of them to be getting their just desserts.

I can remember as a 16 or 17 year old having a quiet upsetting conversation with my mother (no unfortunately it was not 'the conversation'. I almost wish it had been. It might have saved me years of worry and self-hatred. On the other hand, it would have been in 1977 or 78 . My Mom pretty much accepts me now. I hope the Mom of that era would've accepted me then. But I don't know) about the fact that I didn't think I believed in G-d. My Mom told me she thought things happened for a reason. And that she thought I'd believe when I saw my first child.

Well that little event is never going to happen unfortunately. And it might even be the nail in the coffin for my belief in a higher benevolent being. It's too bad really, I'd like to think someone was looking out for us. We don't seem to be able to manage ourselves very well.

Case in point. I had a kitchen fire while writing the above. It would have been nice to be alerted by a Big Kahuna before that happened.

For the most part, all my experiences in Texas have been absolutely delightful. The people I've met, have bent over backwards to make me feel at home. I think it's a wonderful state. The mistake that most people make is that they drive through it and never stop to taste the spirit of the place.

TAXI!!!

A hawk spooked by Hurricane Harvey rode out the storm inside a taxi — to the surprise of the cabbie.

Taxi driver William Bruso, a 45-year-old resident of Missouri City, Texas, was stunned to find a Cooper’s hawk cowering inside his cab after it flew in through an open window Friday.

The bird of prey, terrified by the low pressure and high winds, allowed Bruso to offer it a perch on one of his hands, which he gloved beforehand.

Bruso named the bird “Sgt. Hurricane Harvey.” He left a window open in case the bird wanted to fly off again. It did not.

A rep from the Texas Wildlife Rehabilitation Coalition of Houston finally dropped by Saturday to pick up Harvey.

“It was a very cool experience,” Bruso told The Post on Sunday. “I felt very honored that [the hawk] chose to hunker down with me — and was so well-behaved, better behaved than my cousins who come here and wreak havoc.”

“It was a magical experience. This is a bird of prey, a natural born killer in its normal environment. But this was not a normal situation.”

Well...I don't like to use the karma word. It's too wildly thrown around, and then people use it too loosely and vague anytime they want to wish bad on someone. It's almost meaningless. You sleep with someone's boyfriend, karma is gonna get you. You butt someone in line at the buffet, karma is gonna get you. If you say karma 3 times with your back turned to a mirror in the dark, yes....that bitch karma is gonna get you.

But, just because I say something happens for a reason doesn't mean I'm unsympathetic or wishing bad on or saying its deserved. Absolutely not. Yes, there is a reason. I don't even know that reason. I had just made a personal statement and then followed it up with something unrelated. Though, it sounded like I was comparing the 2. Whether I said it in the first sentence or 2 paragraphs down, it would have still been construed as me saying karma.

Texas tried to conquer the west. They used to extend all the way to Colorado. They had inland cities but also wanted the coastal port cities. I know it's pointless to discuss now, but the fact that they built and continue to build on this MEGALODONTROPOLIS (not a word) near such a hurricane prone place....is just setting things up to happen where it shouldn't. The weatherman was saying the storm was pushing the waves along in a perfect pattern against the shape of the Texas shore. Something tells me, this isn't the first time in history. Something, possibly a megastorm 50 million bagillian (not a word) years ago contributed to shaping out the shoreline of Texas. It's frightening, but it's reality.

Florida isn't much different, but seems like that Texas coast keeps getting hammered every year...Florida kind of Jutes out and isn't in most direct line of storms. Also there's no noticeable curve in the shorelines to indicate such a repeat pattern in the same area. Once a storm forms in the gulf and starts heading west, the only place to go is Texas or Louisiana.

The unfortunate part of this will come when insurance companies start denying claims. Texas has a lot of local, not big name insurers that are cheap...but will deny, deny, deny liability. Years ago, I had some fool in San Antonio run a stop sign and t-bone my car, and leave the scene. After a few days of investigating, I finally found the car and the owner in some apartment parking lot without a front bumper or grill.

Can you believe the fucking bastard Texas owned insurance company of his, denied the entire $2,500 worth of damage on my claim. All because he stated he wasn't the person driving. And that's actually considered cheap damages. At the time. I was young and didn't understand how important UIM is if you don't have full coverage.

So yeah...let that hurricane show Texas. Maybe this will bring to light how they go about disenfranchising people out there.

People died in Texas... Those that have the least, stand to lose the most. I wouldn't wish harm on anyone.

Let me just address something, and I'm not going to address this any further. I'm not wishing bad on anyone in Houston. Repeat that. Again. Say it again. There. Now, time to preach:

I don't know how to explain this without anyone getting emotionally panty tied. I'm not going to sit here and play the blame game. Or the prophet. Or the reasoning behind. I simply said from the start, the POSITIVE MESSAGE. That positive message can be whatever you want it to be. No one should allow themselves to feel sad about something that I say.

What has happened in Houston is between God, The devil and the People and Powers and Principalities of Houston. It's not even something we should be arguing and fighting over. It's beyond me, it's beyond all of us. I can't explain it any further because I don't understand it myself...but on every level. You have God; the light of the world and creator, then you have the Devil: The "Prince of the power of the air, and the ruler of darkness." Then you have the citizens (the people) and then the government and all municipalities (powers and principalities). By those titles which were given, it's pretty clear this wasn't an act of "God" that happened to Houston like the insurance companies say it. This was an act of a foul demon. But like I had said, people were so mesmerized by the solar eclipse...which was "used" by the devil (and media) as a distraction, it made it easier for the Prince of Darkness to use Harvey as a sudden stealth attack.

There have been several ancient cities washed into the sea. Just because it's 2017 doesn't mean if given sufficient privilege to do so, the Prince of the Air won't atleast "try" to.

Trust me, I know what it's like to feel like you've lost everything. Obviously not as severe as those people. But I lost my place I lived in for 5 years in 2016, and then just a couple months ago after living somewhere I had to uproot again and at the current moment pretty much don't have a main home base so to speak. So seeing all the people on the news is heartbreaking, but I'm in a pressing position myself.

I've not had a physical flood, but I've certainly had a financial flood. Men4rent used to be my bread and butter in many markets. I can't even tell you the success from that site. There wasn't a city or town that did not know of men4rent.. Backpage, it was a great fallback. Rentboy is gone and seems like every year there's another cutback in the industry.

And let's not forget...STINGS. And you know what city conducts some of the most pervasive and widespread stings? HOUSTON. That's not to say the city deserves to be flushed off the map (but Harvey tried to) but again...the money and resources and time they spent going after 200 people over SuperBowl weekend, should have been put towards ecosystem mangement or disaster preparation. So, excuse me if my sorrow seems hollow when I call out Houston and Texas in general on their "powers and principalities", often ones which have put many people on death row (Texas kills more people on death row than any other state).

Lots of people have suffered needlessly under Texas law, and particularly Houston's. So epic natural disasters like this happening, may actually be due in part to a supernatural response to what Houston has manifested.

And to cite what I mentioned above also (since y'all want to laugh when I talk about about disenfranchisement)

Texas was the first U.S. state to carry out an execution by lethal injection, executing Charles Brooks on December 7, 1982. Texas is first in the number of executions carried out in the United States since 1976. One Texas county (Harris) accounts for 280+ death sentences and 116 executions since 1982.
