How do you feel about all of these escorts whose profiles are oriented to saying "ask me" about what they charge and their orientation? I am very tired of it and more often than not just close the profile without even readomg further. What the heck are they hiding?

They are not hiding anything but inviting you to a conversation. You are not original, if you search old threads this topic has been discuss many times. "Ask me" does not mean any other thing, just "ask me". If you do not like it, continue to moving on in these cases, but you will miss connecting to amazing guys.

I don't care. Since I prefer two hours as a minimum, I always have to ask for a session rate anyway. I don't ask about orientation as it doesn't matter to me.

admittedly, the "ask me" request may be the provider's effort to tailor his rate quote to what you are asking him to do (or may even be his effort to tailor his quote based on your stats) ......cynical, yes, but it's true for a few

I don't mind entering into a conversation, and I realize that a competitive bid might be the goal of the escort. What about negotiating this way? "I usually pay $xxx.00 for a _____ session. Is that what you had in mind?"

Orientation doesn't matter to me, I've been fluid enough myself that I can't very well object to the ambivalence. Rate is a bit of a different matter since I assume, rightly or wrongly, it's going to change based on age or appearance,. If the rate is based on activity the ad could at least imply that. My deal-breaker is safety, when an escort answers Safe/BB with "Ask me," I move on.

"Ask me" in some of the most basic categories discourages my interest, much like escorts whose pictures don't give you a good idea of what they look like. I'm happy to discuss a potential engagement with an escort, but I don't see much point in being forced to take that next step just to determine whether he's even offering a service I might be interested in. That, IMO, should have been made clear in the ad. As clients we can speculate as to their motives, or we can choose not to speculate and we can move on.

There are a lot of masseurs quoting rates "starting at" - a similar dodge, to keep the mystery going...and their options open. But at least it gives a number of some sort for comparison

 

When the ad has mutiple rules of contact, repeated variants of "absolute discretion is key", and the rate is "ask me", it might as well say

"Keep looking". (Which I do)
